Karen, what will I do when I go back in August to Cadiz??? You won't be around any of the corners to run into. That makes me sad. I enjoyed going to the cheap jewelry stores with you!

My 15 year old is saving money so she can buy more trinkets in Cadiz. My 17 year old is over her head in debt to me, so she won't be buying or getting any trinkets any time soon. Stupid debit card!

Just know I'll be thinking of you while I'm there.

And, we do have accommodations for two families in the guest house if anyone really did want to fly/drive in for the party. Since Jen already volunteered us ...

Also, we have annual passes and if enough others do as well maybe we can BBQ/ swim and cavort for a few hours and then head to the parks.

Today we arrived in Cadiz Spain. I really liked Cadiz and wish we could have spent some more time there. But tonight was also Jim Brickman!!! I really enjoyed the Andulusian Horses. The show was fantastic.

I'm sad I missed him. I wish he hadn't been booked on a late port day. We had taken the Seville excursion, but wanted to see a bit of Cadiz, too. I actually felt sorry that he didn't have a big turn out. I hope you all clapped super loud!

I don't have a guest house, but I have a guest room and a room where we can put an airbed.

I can get 3 people into Disney at a time with my passes.......

So between Richard and Heloise and Chuck and I, we can put up lots of people if you want to visit! Connie

I have reservations, but we're not sure yet whether we'll keep them or not. My reservations are from Sept 22 to 30.

Connie - food and wine festival starts on the 28th. That is why I made the reservations this way (I had to start the reservation by Sept 22 to get the free dining).

Thanks for posting the great pictures. Scott -the house and hair look great! I really wish we could come to the post-cruise party, but we live soooo far away. Has anyone posted pictures of the banner - I might have missed them. Connie - it was great seeing pictures of you and your family. Deanna - we were at Palo the night of the show, what were you doing on stage? Looked like you were having fun! Hope all is well with everyone - it is 115 here today so I am a hermit and working on all my pictures and scrapbooking. Great memories!

Man o Man why did I ever get DVC when we could just crash at Richards and/or Connie’s , just kidding guys. Bummer we will miss a Sept get together, we are there (WDW) the end of October.

Well we survived the race, Lynn finished 2nd in her division and I finished 5th. It was hot but we had fun. We will definitely be doing this again. The event was called Super Saturday, local Parks and Rec sponsored, lots of community involvement. Lots of vendors, social groups, volunteer groups, and Debbie I stopped by the Red Cross, just to help out $$.

Looks like the next event will be the Race for the Cure. August 11th.

Had a pulled pork BBQ sand for lunch. Hot and sunny here today. Time to stay inside till it cools off. Hope you all are having a great weekend. I got some dry wall to patch so that be an afternoon project.

I know this is a silly question, but what is WDW like on Labor Day weekend. I know it will be HOT, but is it like New Jersey week or is it more crowded. We get off the Magic on September 1st and will spend 3 days, all of Labor Day Weekend, there. I'm a little nervous.

Sandi, the banner was posted, very good pictures and lots of them, so look back a few pages!

I won't go into what we were doing on stage. It was not one of my shining moments. I was really embarrassed afterwards.

We Do have a guest suite on our house, so if anyone is an hour north of Chicago....I just think it's cool Richard has a whole house!
