And here in New Hampshire I am considered very stylish and "high end" with my LL Bean bag:rotfl:

gee NJ is the land of fanny packs....tho I have quite the collection of purses, they are not designer. If I buy any more bags Tiggr33 is going to faint!

Thanks:love: You can even call me with the answer if you want as it was so fun to get to hear your voice the other day (yes I KNOW I must get a life that does not revolve around Disney and the DIS:rotfl2: ). Oh, and before you all jump on me--I am KIDDING--post the answer so everyoen will know;)

If you go and get yourself a life that doesn't revolve around the DIS and Disney and all our DISfriends then PLEASE keep that to yourself...because if it's contagious I don't want to catch it! :rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I'm pretty sure you have it backwards. It is Disney and the DIS that are contagoius!

OK....so Jason and I are FINALLY getting around to looking at some of our vacation pics....we're not nearly as fancy as all of you who upload them to websites and the such....but I will start posting a few here and there as we sift through them. I wanted to post these few, though, not because they were of the cruise...but because they were of things that I talked about on this board BEFORE the cruise and others asked me about....so these are actually some pics from our stay at WDW with my parents before hte cruise.

First....here are some pics of the wheelchair seat cover/cushion/hanging-pouch that I designed for my mother's wheelchair in the parks:

Here is a pic of me and Jason with my parents in the MK the day we were "tagged" by the Dream Team during the Year of Million Dreams promotion adn given the DREAM FASTPASSES to the rides and attractions:

Here is a photo of the 4 of us in front of the castle in our "No Fun Vacation" Tshirts that I had made as a surprise for my parents and that go with that story I told about my last trip to WDW with my parents when I was just 8 years old!!

And here is just a random picture of my parents....we had over 70 photopass pictures taken and put on our CD....and this is probably my favorite picture of the whole collection...because it really captures "Disney Magic" for me and the fact that my parents were re-experiencing Disney for the first time in nearly 25 years:goodvibes :goodvibes . I know that only Kelly and her family got to actually meet my parents....but I just think this picture is beautiful and hope that all of you will be able appreciate it:

Great pictures Erik!

Purse??? I carried a diaper bag for so long I forgot what a purse was! Now I slip keys/credit card/cell phone into a pocket and head out. If it is going to be an "all day" thing like DL, I'll take a backpack with waterbottles and maybe a snack and a sweater.

Thank you for the sweet compliments, CACruisin!!!! I'm glad your daughter is enjoying the iknitting. It was so much fun to teach her!

Compliments are well deserved. I wish we could go on the return trip so we could meet your girls, but I've used up all the FF miles and school starts on 8/27. You will have a fantastic trip, I'm sure!

Erik, Kewl pictures, most excellent job on the chair pouch.

Man I miss all you guys it was a great time,

Work has kinda quieted down, for now.

Weekend to work on the barn, fun huh lol.

Have a great weekend.

I wish you could go too. I could teach her more techniques. I actually wish I could take everyone with me. I can't tell you how much I miss you.

As far as purses, I was a diaperbag/backback girl, but now I proudly use the knock offs I bought in China or my Target bag. I think if I needed corporate job where I had to looknice, I would buy one fairly neutral leather designer bag and use that for work. SAHmoms don't need to be too fancy. We really just need someone to hose us off once in awhile.

Scott, could you just come on over t'night and build me just a wee little chicken coop? That's my project this weekend.

Erik, I think your mother is very pretty. Your parents look like very nice people. No wonder you turned out so well!

Not a problem.... I really would if I could, building stuff is fun.

I got boats to build. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Thank you very much....of course I won't tell them you think they're attractive and nice....I don't want their heads to get TOO big!! An all expenses paid trip to Disney World AND compliments?! Heavens....they might feel special!!;)

Truly though....I have exceptional parents (as I think I already described to you once, DAnn) and I'm glad that complete strangers can see on the outside what I know on the inside! :goodvibes :goodvibes

We still use back packs here in Wyoming LOL.....

Got home early today, lawn mowed and starting the Barn Projects early off to Lowes fro supplies.

Have a great weeked kiddies.

Felt good when asking about the 5 K race next weekend. The guy did not believe me that I was an old dude, tee hee, cut my hair maybe that is why????

Did I read this right??? you Cut your hair??

Or am I read it wrong :rolleyes1

I think we are finally getting over our "cruise-jag" kind of like Jet Lag, only different!

Chuck painted the pool deck and i washed woodwork, moved furniture and got one wall painted in my family room....it's done in Martha Stewart Red Velvet Cake and the other 3 walls will be Rolling Pin. That's barn red and butter cream to us regular folk. I'm so glad Lowe's carries such great color lines!

Does anyone know how I can contact a CM from the shiip? He was our server, and I only know his first name. A very unusual name: Dragon, he's from Croatia.....he said you could see his town from Venice on a clear day, but of course we didn't have a clear dat!

bye for now, Connie

I thought the same thing. So Scott, inquiring minds want to know...?

Debbie, thanks so much for the daily posts. Yes, a month ago today we were definitely rockin' and rollin'. It's funny, I emailed DH each night with the day's happenings. The title of the post of 5/15: "Feeling green on the deep blue sea!" Here are the first few lines:

"The title says it all! Last night was rough. Seasickness is fierce.
> I took a bonine, threw it up and took another one. Rebecca started
> complaining/crying around 10pm that her hip hurt and she was holding
> her side. I gave her a Dramamine, thinking she was seasick too. This
> continued off and on with her crying and falling a sleep and waking
> and crying again holding her side and saying her hip hurt. At 2:30am,
> after she had been crying continuously for an hour, I took her down to
> Medical * this is what travel insurance is for. I was afraid it was
> her appendix. It wasn¹t. "

It's funny, when I think back on the trip, I don't remember getting sick at all. (my brain has blocked that out apparently:rotfl2: ) Even with this rather bumpy start to our long sea voyage, I would still do it all again in a heartbeat! By the way, Rebecca is DD3 and she ended with an ear infection later in the week. We never did figure out what the abdominal pain was from. Filled out the forms for travel insurance this afternoon.

Hey guys, There were quite a few of us on the trip who are also on the PC westbound (and a few eastbounders.) Elizabeth organized a nice lunch to get everyone together that I absent mindedly almost missed, but squeezed in 5 minutes. The other thread is so huge that most of us are not participating in it, so I was thinking that we'd begin a thread "From the Med to the PC" so that we can all continue to talk to each other about our planning for the PC. There are many (I'm sure) who are on other Med cruises throughout the summer who may want to join in to help each other plan. We could make it east as well (like the Med Thread.) I think it may be easier than the massive thread already going, thoughts? Anyone else? Even those of you who aren't sure you are going to keep your ressie.
Excellent idea Kelly. I've been wondering what to do about this since I know I can't keep up with that thread. I was wondering what excuse there could be to start a separate thread. I think you have the perfect solution.

However, the activity on this thread sure has picked up since you've been back. Probably just coincidence :rolleyes1

Okay - editing this to note that I just posted 3 posts in a row myself. I think we are all just too excited to have everyone back!
