Hi to all the new comers!! Welcome!!

I can relate to you all that didn't get to see all the posts. I started on page 1 and made it to page 67 when we were at about 130 pages...I couldn't take any more and just jumped in from there. Never have gone back to read the stuff in between - yet.

We definitely want to go to the labs and learn how to make Flubber. That would be so cool!

Can't wait for the cruise...every day that we get closer it's just great!!

I'm still looking for a picture to send to Debbie...hope to do that soon!

Okay a hyper, over tired, should be in bed Rio is now standing (more like dancing) behind me and reading over my shoulder! He says to tell Owen he likes Shel Silverstein, joke books, the Weird Planet books and detective stories. What kind of books does Owen like? He says to tell him he also likes swimming and board games especially The Magic Kingdom Game and Disney Sorry (go figure!) and WhoNu and Caranium Family Fun. Just about any board game I guess.

Allright--now i am insisting my little Guy gets off to bed now as well.

Owen was getting tired of Amy going on and on about all of the little girls she's going to be friends with on the ship.

I think that we are going to be going on this cruise!!! I totally cannot believe it....another late comer to the party because of an incredible deal! I am still hyperventilating...
Does anyone have any input about flights?? That is the only thing that my DH is concerned about...other than that, I think its a green light.
We will be flying from the west coast, but if there is a great deal from Barcelona to an eastern city, that would be great. TIA!

The family is fretting over the choice of staying on our June 6th 10 day Cruise vs. booking the first 11 day back to back with the crossing cruise?

The big issue was the pets three dogs, the cat, 5 goats a chicken and 4 bunnies.

Resolving that I'm leaning toward the 25 lbs .... I mean 25 days back to back cruises.

I wonder how many others are taking this route. Will we get (cat 12) cabin fever?

What should we anticipate for weather and seas on the Atlantic crossing?

OFFKILTER ARE ROCK STARS IN OUR FAMILY!!! THey are Patrick's FAVORITE at EPCOT! He loves to go and sit right in front and yell "You guys are GREAT!" about 25 times during the performance! He gets to rocking so hard in his wheelchair that we have to make sure he doesn't tip it over!!!

I have the children group up and running!!
A few children are already using the new kids group. They can't wait met all their new friends.

I have put together a "invite only" group for our children. There is an area for them to introduce themselves, messages boards for the different age groups and an area to create a photo album. This way they will know what there friends look like before they arrive on board. Even if your children are to young to read and write, like my DD7. They might enjoy hearing about everyone else and looking at the photo albums.

We just booked a few weeks ago, while on a 4 day wonder. The deals were to great to pass up!!

I can't offer much on flight info. We book ours through DCL. But, I know that there are lots of wonderful people on this board that will be able to help you with that.

Most of them. wife 2 of 3 daughters and my son plus Grandma.

The kids are ages 29, 11, 9 by cruise time. Actually the oldest daughter will be meeting us in Barcelona for only the 11 or 10 day.

South Orlando? I'm near Lake Nona.

Some of us have been planning a possible pre cruise Orlando BBQ. Are you interested?

We will be 5 total on the crossing and I already figured out the price is cheaper to book it 4 and 1 rather than 3 and 2. Are you saying the 4 will automatically get upgraded?

Yes, according to my TA and DCL, if you have 4 people in a GTY cat. 12, you will automatically be upgraded to at least a Cat. 11 (if not better). I guess no cat. 12's fit 4 people so you have to be upgraded.

Out of curiousity, why are you switching to Carnival for the Med. cruise? My first guess is that it's less expensive, but how much less? (sorry, I'm nosy )

I have 4 kids too, but since we are all going on the PC repo, can't afford to take them all on this one, that and the deal I got was only for 1 room. (and they already missed some school this year for a DCL cruise in November...)

We are going to take our youngest DS4, and am really excited. We will be in #8076. I guess it is time to get on all the rosters!
