The hot-tubber in the photo looks like he is enjoying the show! It's almost like having an oceanside tub! The bad weather just MADE that cruise for me!

Hi Everyone

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We stayed around the house and got all the Xmas stuff setup. We are off to Dinseyland this Saturday for the Candlelight thing. Never been, so I'm looking forward to it.Can't wait to cruise again - but I will have to wait until July :(

That pic is great! Ken, I'm assuming that when you eat at club 33 you get seats in front of the processional??? We're you freezing? We went last night to the Candlelight processional and it was absolutely beautiful. Jane Seymour was wonderful. We will absolutely make that an annual event, hard to believe we haven't been doing it all these years. I heard that the DL was a little bigger, but exactly the same show as WDW - anyone know if that is true or false? We will go for the dinner next year.

BY the way guys, I've been selling all my extra goodies on Ebay for the past couple of weeks and the passport holder is the big seller, but the TA pins have not been surprisingly. But nothing as big as my tinkerbell tree topper $105.

Thanks for sharing Peter - Yes Kelly, it was very cold during the show. I'm glad we were at the 5:30pm show and not the 8:00pm. Disneyland has a number of dinner/show combinations and you do get seats near the front. We were on the right side. Even with the reserved seat, we were in line for about an hour.

That's us in front on our "small" castle. :lmao:

Hi all

Havent been on here for ages and keep meaning to pop over. Hope everyone's OK.

Things here are fine. Mum & Dad (gailadams_uk) are on a cruise at the mo (7 night Magic) so Im extremely jealous.

Has everyone seen the new itineraries? Quite disappointed the Magic isn't leaving the Caribbean! I was hoping for another long cruise.

Hi everybody! Loved the pictures of the pool. Brings back great memories and I agree - that made the cruise for me too! I just got a call from DCL and asked if I wanted to keep my reservation for May '09. I was all excited and asked where they were going and she said Eastern Caribbean for one week! I cannot tell you how deflated I felt. I passed. The DCL lady made it sound like, "how come you were expecting something exciting?" I was kind of taken aback, but anyway - I guess '10 will be the year! Did anybody else experience the same "sad":sad1: feeling I did?

I was very disappointed when I saw the itineraries last night, especially since we were wantng to replace the PCWB with a 2009 cruise. Katey is graduating this year and there are just too many senior activities that parents need to attend. I don't want to miss her senior year. I'm so bummed. Maybe I just need to book B2B cruises.

I moved our dummy 2008 booking to a summer 2009 and may move it again if there is something more interesting for 2010. But, we have never actually done any of the "normal" Magic cruises, so if we want to cruise in 2009 it will be "new" for us.

I was hoping for a longer 10/11 day trip though.

Anna, we've never been on a 7 day, only 3 and 4 day, other than the 2 TransAtlantics, and I fear we are ruined for anything less than a two week cruise now.

Yes, I got the same call. She told me that I had a reservation, etc, etc. And I said where are we going? Big disappointment. I told her to cancel the reservation.

This is my fear too, but I figure 7 days is better than no days, right?:rolleyes1
Hoagie Pie, sorry you had a grouchy CM. I was very pleasantly surprised with how helpful the CM was with me yesterday. I spent about an hour on the phone, moving multiple reservations around, changing names, etc. I was able to take the larger deposit from one of the WBPC cruise ressies and split it to cover the deposits for the summer 2007 ressies. And, I think this CM has finally fixed my name in their system:thumbsup2 . With every cruise, it always gets messed up because I have two middle names. DCL is convinced I have two last names and then doesn't understand why they can't ever find me by my real last name.:sad2: :confused3

Alright cruise experts ... what is the song that is on DCL's home page for the new eastern trips?????:confused3 It is stuck in my head. It also must have a subliminal message because I want to cruise again BAD!!!!:rotfl2:

I always listen with the music turned down, because my kids hear the DCL music and are right on top of me, asking if we're cruising soon.

Was definately deflated! Now looking at whether I can justify the WBPC. Hoping Mum&Dad have booked it while on board and I can tag along with them cheaply

Hi All,
I have been reading (and enjoying the photos) but rarelty post lately as I am so overwhelemed in life stuff right now (nothing bad--just lots to do). We also were very dissapointed in the 2009 schedule. YUCK! Having only one new port at all on any given 7 day, and NO longer trips is so not intersesting. We have been toying with trying the QM2 (since we all love to dress up, etc.) and this may be what puts us over the edge and has us branching out in 2009. gosh darn it--I really wanted a repo crusie to somewhere!
We are moving into our ultra busy month now. Our German friends are moving home to Germay this weekend and are staying with us until they leave as their container full of belongings has now shipped. We will celebrate St. Nick's Day with them tonight. We also need to get invites out for RIo's birthday party sometime today. He is having a High School Musical party! WHo would have guessed:lmao:
