When you're skimming through, do you ever say the screen names wrong to yourself? Like txaggie--I know is Texas Aggie (or I think I know)--but I say it in my head--taxidermist. The worst is Scoobypop. I'm sure you can use your imagination there! It is a cute name, though.

I wouldn't know how to use that either. What I bought was for electricity rather than money. I am hoping that all I really have to do is plug it into one of the adaptors Mom is sending and plug it into the wall. If it's not that easy, I'm in trouble.

Hi everyone, Just got off the phone with Courtney hearing about her private tour of the castle in Magic Kingdom. She gave me all the scoop on how they choose familys/people to spend the night in the castle. This place is LOADED with special features. Like when your in the tub, the ceiling twinkles like a night sky!

Cant wait to see the photos!

I'm back from my little weekend trip away with my hubby! Chicago was beautiful and meeting Cupcake was TONS OF FUN!!!! I also got my docs today . We are staying at the Hyatt the night before, but we get in early and heading to Disney Quest. We eat dinner at the food court and shop over there too. I am sure everyone is super excited. We leave 2 weeks from today and cannot wait!! I am still reading the boards because I have been absent.

OK Hoagie - what is Disney Quest?

I just completed an update to the roster. (After Survivor was over )

We are now at 276 cruisers!! and 101 rooms!

Thanks to DCL~ We will also be stay at the Hyatt the night before. We will be arriving from CA about 4:30pm. My family is going to just hang out at the hotel: have dinner and go for a swim. We are also meeting up with Laura at the pool after dinner. Feel free to join us!

Great! it looks like the half way parties can get a "dress rehersal" sort of like all the kids productions!

We will be there about 7:00pm or so. I will be happy to give out lanyards and name badges to anyone who can find me at the Hyatt on the evening of the 11th.

The airport Hyatt is not really close to great shopping. If you take the North Exit from the airport, you'll bump into some of the usual strip mall kind of things. To get to WDW, you can take the North Exit to 528 (Beachline) west to I-4, then to WDW. Take the South Exit to 417 (greenway) towards WDW. Either way should take you about 25 minutes to get there, but IMO the Greenway is easier and has no traffic.

The airport has a great hotel right in the middle of things.
there is plenty of shopping at the airport it's like a mall. enjoy and see you on ship. oh...your about 40 minutes from wdw, it depends if you want to make the drive or not.

We had hoped to pick up a few things like laundry soap and liquor as it is heavy and we can't use duty free as we have to transit through Dallas.

A quick question for Florida folks - DCL has put us up at the Orlando Airport Hyatt arriving about 1730 on Friday night. Are we close to any shopping? How far from DW is it and can you get there easily? Anyone else on the flight from Dallas?

i am flying from dallas but we get in about 1pm....then we head to the radisson...my hubby won't let me near dontown disney!!!

Not from Dallas, but I used to live in North Richland Hills.

Hi Everyone - Here is the latest lanyard list. As always, please let me know if I need to make a correction.

I also would like to talk about picking up the name badges and lanyards. I will be available in the terminal (at about 11:00am) prior to boarding for lanyard pickup. I will also have the lanyards at the dismeet at 3:00pm on deck 10, starboard (right) overlooking the Goofy pool. Please make an effort to stop by and pick up your name badges and lanyards at one of these two locations. If you can't make either of these - please contact me onboard to arrange for pickup. I don't plan on leaving the name badges and lanyards on your stateroom fish.

Maybe liquor, but you will pay a premium for it, location,location. not sure about soap... you might be able to get some from the hotel as a free bee... maybe they have a laundry facility. can't hurt to ask.

Had friends over for diner tonight it was fun, blood test in the morning and have the 12 hour fast, thank goodness I don’t have to study for it.

On voltage converters, get the one with the highest # of watts. 1500 0r 1600 rings a bell. And yes radio shack has a very good one with several plug options.

Just stop by 8530 anytime and tell them Bob sent ya….LOL

Were are on Deck 7 #7128... on DVC points and I doubt if an upgrade will happen, folks on DVC Points don't seem to fall into the upgrade Catagory. We like the Cat 7s. esp when we bring dive gear, the cat 7 veranda is great for drying stuff out. I did try fro a Cat 3 but they were not available.
