Erik--We enter Canada at Niagara Falls also. But not being former yoopers, we head back into the U.S. at Windsor/Detroit. We have not been to the Museum of Play--we MUST do that next time around.

We made 2 door signs today! These are for the changing display on days one and two. I am trying something different for me. I am making daily signs which can slide in/out of a plastic sleeve. I am making them with my scrapbooking supplies, and if they don't "walk" they'll be able to go right into the scrapbook as the major headers to various days when we get home. So we have finished two of 14 changing signs and 2 of 2 dryearse/bulliten boards, 0 of 2 Main signs (one for us one for the in-laws), and 0 of 2 name markers. I guess we still have a lot to go, but at least it is a start.

Now that I have bee ntaunted with the new mailing if it doesn't arrive soon I am going to go CRAZY

My mailbox was empty! I booked the cruise with DVC.

I'm hoping it is just taking longer to get to some parts of the country than others. I know my in-laws in Colorado got their excursion booklet two days before we did even though we all booked at once through our TA (and all on one credt card even). But, I want my mail NOW NOW NOW (stomping foot action happening here).

Nothing here either. Not even air info (booked thru DCL)
Starting to get a bit antsy waiting for the cruise.
Before you know it, we will get the cruise docs. Then we can begin the cruise docs dance.


Great evening out tonight. Wi-Fi on the deck with Belle night. Seems like summer is already here. But we know better. I'm sure that nature has a reality check coming soon. Bad thing is that the lilac is starting to bud. Some of the trees too, but if we get a good frost now, no purple blooms.

Skype. Works great. Never used it onboard, but have it on the laptop. Great for chats. No more free calling though.

We called DVC today and they then called DCL and DCL then e-mailed the flight info. So, you might want to give DCL a call.

Ok everyone, let me formally introduce myself, My name is Apryl and I live in Sanford, FL. No kids, no hubby wubby, just me.

Apryl - I live in Vero Beach and generally travel alone, too. This trip, sis and partner are coming with, but I tell them I go my own way. (I suspect they think I'm nuts, but I suspect THEY will be the odd ones on this cruise.) I'll look for you.

Yikes, no won't be able to swing any more time off for this trip, but already have my 7 day WDW trip planned for this November, so can't WAIT!!! And yes, 3 years is WAY too long to be away. Now that we're DVC, hopefully can do many more trips than I have before!

There is one on Las Vegas Boulevard aka "the Strip. Just head toward Mandalay Bay and keep going a couple miles. It is past the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, which was cool to get a picture of.

The other one is at the Premium Factory Outlet stores in downtown Las Vegas. Go exactly the OPPOSITE direction, toward Stratosphere until the Strip almost ends, turn left on Charleston, and right on Grand Central Parkway. You can't miss the outlets then. They are also outdoors and much newer and nicer than the one on the South end of the Strip. Lots of designer stores at this one, too.

Good question, nanaguide, about the banner....there's been lots of banter about it but I am not sure anyone has committed to doing it. I am skeptical that I'll really be able to do it before the trip since I have 3 business trips between now and flying to the World to factor in plus all the last minute trip preparations (I haven't even BEGUN to think about door decs).

So if you want to volunteer for banner duty...HAVE AT IT!! Or I know there are a number of you down in the Central Florida area, right? Maybe you can have a pre-cruise banner making party!! If we lived there I'd come to that!!

hahahahaha! Well, it's not so much that we would RATHER work instead of spending time at the World first, but that we HAVE to work so that we can do the amazing 14 day cruise AND WDW in the fall! Oh, and also so that I can have my 4 TVs with VCR and Tivo's and all the fixins too!
