Welcome!!!

Look back a page or so and get the information about adding your name to the roster!

We keep growing!! I am going to post some stats tomorrow! I will wait for our new friend :) before I post them.

Debbie

I'm already on the roster, under Ready To Travel, the friends I am with on the Repo. Ken is also making my lanyard! So I took some other baby steps before I posted here! I'm reading the 143 page and am about to order my Tshirts! Those are so cool!!

THANKS!!

(1) Secret Mickey, as Aunty Brat noted, is like Secret Santa where someone coordinates a list of who's matched up with whom, you give a surprise to your person up to a predetermined amt, and then find out who you were matched up with later! I have seen it either sent ahead of time or exchanged on board. If anyone wants to do it, I suggest mailing since we will all have luggage constraints. Maybe $15 plus postage? Thoughts are appreciated!

(2) Way to go AuntyBrat on the passport! Mine took about 9, but I am told that I made it before the big rush. Still, you've got time. Keep me posted!

(3) Welcome additional newcomers!

Hadley-----I heard a rumor that they might show "High School Musical" on the big huge screen by the pool after dark one night....so tell Rio to cross his fingers and toes with me in hopes they do (I bet that big screen is connected to a DVD player of some kind so maybe we can con them into showing it if someone brings the DVD...:lmao: ) I'll so bring a pair of tigger PJ's and hang out on deck watching it with all the kids!!

I forgot to officially welcome our new cruisers....so :welcome:!!!

:tigger:

Erik

Erik - you seem very talented, any chance you go to Eastman in Rochester? We have a very good friend that attends Ezstman and will be graduating in May? Hope your back feels better.

Hey there.....

No I don't go to Eastman....although I did graduate from the University of Rochester...of which the Eastman School is part....so I went to school with a lot of Eastman Students and I still know lots of people associated with the school. In fact Jason and I live just a few blocks from Eastman.

Okay, I have never seen this...movie? Nor do I know anything about it! In fact...funny story, now that I know what it is (sort of, :scratchin not really):

We went to WDW last October and in Tomorrowland at MK they had a stage show called "High School Musical". It was really hot and this guy is up on stage singing and wearing a long sleeve sweater. I commented to my dh about how hot he must be and how I felt really bad for him. He said something like that is the price these people have to pay to do that sort of thing. Well, we weren't watching the show, just passing by and I kept thinking about how all those poor high school students had to sing and dance in this hot weather. I also wondered which high school had the honor of getting to do a show at WDW. :rotfl: What a dork I am! :headache:

My dh knew it was a show put on by WDW, but I didn't. In fact, he doesn't know that is what I was thinking until now. :wave2: (hi honey!)

Just thought I'd share my ignorance since I seem to be the only one who knows nothing about this show. Ha! Rio, I need to borrow your movie while we're on the ship...I'll be bringing my portable DVD player!

:cheer2: Welcome to all our new friends!:cheer2:

For our new friends with children. We would like to have your children join our "kids group":) It is a great way for everyone to get to know each other! Just send me a pm.

Passports: We ordered the kids passports in mid Feb and they have not shown up on the web site yet. :confused3 We are keeping our fingers crossed that they will get here. If not, we did get an extra copy of their birth certificates. So, if we have to run into the San Fransico office, at the last minute, we can! :headache: The not knowing is driving me crazy!

All of my children love HSM they will be glad to join in any conversation about it. ;)

I would love to be included:thumbsup2 in the Secret Mickey!

For those of us who booked our air with DCL. Is tomorrow still the day to receive this info?

I'll take this time to introduce myself and my family. I'm Lori 43 (I think, I loose track sometimes), DH Mike 48, DD Jessica 16 (but sadly big girl is staying home), DS Johnathan 10, and DS David 8. We have lived in Maple Valley WA for nearly 7 years, having moved from the Kansas City, MO area. It's a beautiful sunny day today. When the sun shines, there is no place better.

Lori

Lori,

We use to love in Washington. We lived in Renton in the early '90 and in Puyallup in the late '90. I really miss my view of Mt. Rainer out the kitchen window!

Noooo, no no no, stick to the stuff you know! If you wanna be cool, follow one simple rule, don't mess with the flow, no no!
Stick to the status quo! (That was dedicated to Rio and Erik :) ) Can you tell I am getting excited?
I was in Disneyland a few weeks ago and noticed the HSM pep rally. I remember thinking how hot it was to be doing that too.

Welcome to everyone new! I am pretty new myself, just a few weeks ago. Couldn't resist the prices too?

Debbie, if you see this, I am in Boise, Idaho. I just forgot to put it in my email with our other info. So that makes 25 states! :)
In case you don't see this, I will email you.

Goodness--I try to get a good night's sleep and there are already 3 pages to keep up with!

Welcome to our new people. It's fun to keep on growing. The DIS group may be the majority on the ship!

Those of you with kids, do like Disnycruising says and PM her to get on the group. It is so fun for the kids to get to know others now. My duaghter, Marika, loves checking it out and can't believe her luck that there is another reader like her on this trip. :thumbsup2

Debbie-Thanks for the fun stats.:goodvibes

HSM--Roserae, we will loan you the DVD on the trip. Emily will love it. Or, maybe Marika will morph into her ultimate babysitter mode and show it to her. Excellent story:rotfl:

HSM Pep Rally--we are so sad we won't be seeing this on the trip. I'm still waitin' and watchin' for free dinig plan to be offered this fall then we will make it down to the world for a nice long trip.

Hoping to make some door signs today.

wow - I go to work and voila - 3 pages!!!

ok - I figured I/we accounted for all of NJ - we are a group of 4 for the med and 2 for the trans - who else is NJ???

This is kinda fun - trying to find out who is local to you. Just so the other NJ/NY people are aware - there is a thread of people in this area who are going to get together in NYC on 4/14. The thread is on the gay threads:

The DIS Discussion Forums > Disney Trip Planning Forums > Gay and Lesbian at Disney Hey New York City (and other environs) DIS'ers! Let's meet!

the meet is not specifically for gay folks - we do ok with the other side as well! We are meeting at the Garage for any who know it. try jumping to that thread if interested.

Oh - did I let out a secret?? Maybe the avatar didn't give it away :rotfl:

Padalyn,
I just went over and checked out that thread. I SO wish we could go. The drive is 4 hours which is doable for a weekend. But, we have nothing to do with the kids. Drink an extra martini in David's honor and have fun.

Ok, 45 days out and nothing online so I called...and they emailed it to me. Apparently the server is not reading things quickly, but they do have it. And I am shocked!!! The flights are not bad at all!!! The flight out of Santa Ana is what I expected (early morning) and the flight out of Barcelona is at 1pm in the afternoon. We get home at 939pm that same evening, but only one stop each way, in Atlanta. Which is a bummer, kinda hoped for a stop/layover in Germany or Switzerland...oh well, not going to complain. Oh and DCL already did seat assignments, so I don't have to mess with that!! And we are together, unlike some poor folks I have heard about where DCL didn't seat families or kids with their parents! Woo Whooo....

Now if they would just drop the price again....:lmao: :lmao:

Lori,

We really like it here. This is the longest we've lived in one house and other than the constant pull to move closer to WDW, we have no intent on leaving. The schools are okay, the weather can be wonderful and we have a great church family.

Lori :goodvibes

:flower3: Did I somehow forget to mention that? So Sorry! I could blame my age, but I'm only turning 31 right before the cruise! :rolleyes1

Ok everyone, let me formally introduce myself, My name is Apryl and I live in Sanford, FL. No kids, no hubby wubby, just me. I'll be with friends on the Repo but alone on B2B. I don't know what cabin # yet on the B2B, but as soon as I do, I'll holler about it!

Hi Apryl! We are neighbors, we live in Lake Mary. We'll be on the repo and the B2B as well. You must have booked our flights thru Sanford airport. We haven't flown out of Sanford yet, so we are flying Lufthansa via Munich back to Florida. Welcome aboard. We have been on a few cruises. Alex
