You don't know how many times I have booked and cancelled this cruise! I would have been one of those "paddlers" too...except that my schedule finally got settled. I thought I could only take the week and had actually planned a short trip to WDW instead, but this is soooo much better!

I am a newcomer, but not from Central Florida....drats...
But I am reasonably close being one state north...Georgia. It is still too faraway though!

Where can I find more info about what is happening with Gibraltar? I don't think I have any hope of catching up. I noticed the earlier post that showed it being around 27+5. I had no idea the island was that small though.

I haven't done my research yet, but I've heard that taxis and buses line up near the port for people to do the "Rock Tour". Supposedly the same one the DCL does but charges triple the price.

Oh no ....I'm getting palpitations ....Chris ? See I knew I couldn't have this conversation....I just get too worked up!!!

Suffice it to say this..... I want Chris to be next to go home...him or LaKeisha....I want hte final 3 to be Blake, Jordin, and Melinda....and I'm as yet undecided as to whether Jordin or Melinda should win....it changes for me from week to week.

I can handle that logic. I like Blake, Jordin and Melinda too. But I think Blake and Jordin will sell more records than Melinda because they appeal to the younger crowd!

Okay, I am proud to say I just hit the 3,000 club!

Who would have thought I would have posted 3,000 since I joined the boards in 2004 (I think). It all started with the Panama Canal Cruise I think! I love the information here.

With all the talk about the Rock, I'm thinking I could save some $$ by cancelling our excusion and doing it on our own. So you will probably have 3 more.

Heck, we will be able to get our own bus!

I actually would like to see Phil and Lakeisha gone next. At least we can agree on Melinda being a favorite!

I agree...but I think enough adults are into AI now that Melinda coudl do well, too. You don't think it's a bunch of kids who put Taylor Hicks through, do you? And, in truth, I think if you look at hte history of AI you'll see that really success on the show isn't really about obtaining huge commercial success for the winner...because only Kelly and Carrie (and her success is, in my humble opinion, dubious at best) have translated into really strong commercial CD-selling and award-winning careers. I think Melinda coudl do really well with an adult audience....but like I said, I'm fine with her or Jordin winning.

Well, I don't think Chris sounds like Justin that much...at least not always (I agree with Simon that Chris is FAR too nasal when he sings...like I don't know why he even bothers moving his lips sometimes! )....but even if he did....I don't like Justin either really...so that wouldn't be a selling point for me. We went to the Justified/Stripped tour with the BlackEye Peas as opener then Christina Aguilera did a concert and then Justin did his concert....we left after Christina sang about 15 minutes into Justin's performance so we could beat the traffic and b/c we weren't that enthralled with him.

You forgot Chris Daughtry--even though its only the beginning. He is a perfect example of the system not working. All these power voters put Taylor through, but yet Chris is kicking his butt in sales. The power voters cannot backup with the sales. I think he will become as big as Kelly and Carrie
