Learned this from AuntyBrat, I think, on the 2008 PC cruise thread. On the bottom of the post on the righthand side, there are four buttons: "Edit", "Quote" and two others. Click on the third button - It looks sort of like a big quote mark - for each quote you want to reply to. For the last quote you wish to reply too, click on the "Quote" button and then you get the message box with all the different quotes in it.:) I hope I explained that ok ...

thanks! ANOTHER thing learned! Oh, boy!

Also, it's a beautiful, but windy and what we would call chilly day here in Orlando......We are NOT going to WDW! Too busy! We can go after the Spring Breakers have to go back to school. ALSO, not going out to Brunch, too busy, plus we'll be eating out for a month soon! Whoopee:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Yeah just to see I called about only our Monday reservations and found out that there is NOTHING available that night at Mama Melrose's...the only place with an opening for Fantasmic dinner that nigth is Brown Derby and it's at 4:10pm...which will never work because we don't want to eat there AND it's way too early. So it looks like we'll do dinner elsewhere and then catch either Illuminations or the Spectromagic Parade and Wishes.

keep trying - at least every day - we did get cancelations on many restaurants - we got our ressy for Calif Grill at noon on the day of!

Erik - the wheelchair was about $300 for 8 days and 7 nights. It was in the lobby when we arrived and we left it there when we left.

I am still debating whether to go a couple of days early so I can do at least 1 of the parks before the Nick.

We are going to arrive at OKW around noon on the 10th. Barbara (mother-in-law) wants to take lots of photos. We have a lot of running around to do as well - buying wine, hard liquor, and misc supplies that I refuse to bring from home. I figure I will save the weight and buy shampoo and other misc things in Florida.

Hello Everyone!

Four more people happy to join you on the May 12 repo east cruise! We are a family of four (son age 10 and daughter age 4 and parents age 43 and 42) from Toronto Canada. First Disney cruise and first cruise period for me and the kids.

As a newbie cruise-goer, I'm really grateful for forums such as these to help answer questions and learn fun facts before we set sail!

I love the secret Mickey idea and would like to take part in a Wendy's Tea. Our whole family hopes there is some pirate fun on board, too.

Looking forward to the fun and in the meantime, trying to figure out how all the online forums and signups work!

Cynthia

WOHOO!! Another Canuck joining the crowd!! Like to see that, we are few and far between on this mostly US group but it is becoming like one big happy family :) Welcome to the group!!
Cheers!!

Pat

ooh! the new moon is the best time to see the stars! Star gazing party in my room!

Yeah.....ironically while we are here at Jason's parents' house we found in the top of a bedroom closet his telescope from his childhood. It's small, cheap telescope but we decided to take it because it will fit in our suitcase or carry-on and it works....and w'ere sure that the stargazing in the middle of ocean will be absolutely exquisite!!

Besides our cruise, I'm looking forward to another fun happening at this time of year ... Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Release Date: May 25, 2007

Yeah....keep reading the boards and you'll see we're ALL excited about that....DCL has already confirmed that we will get a premier of the film onboard the ship....although the exact timing and date of that premier seems to be the subject of some discussion....they've announced they'll definitely show it to us on 5/25...but many of us are wondering ift hat might not mean at midnight on the 25th (so REALLY that's the night before on Thursday the 24th)....plus some DCL cast-members have apparently insinuated to people that there might be other "surprises" about the release aboard the ship. I think a bunch of us are REALLY hoping that DCL will surprise us and give us a special sneak preview on Pirate night aboard the ship...which woudl be a full week before everyone on land gets to see them....oh PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DCL!!! :)

wow. I love this forum. Thx for the heads up, Erik. Too exciting.

Can get the first names of your kids please. I'm printing another batch of name badges tomorrow and I would like to get yours done.

elcome to the cruise! I love the name Kodiak--lived there as a child! If you are able to edit this, I'd take my last name off if I were you.. You have too much info, names dates and places. I worry for your safety in this crazy world.

Just call me paranoid, busy-body D.

Happy Easter everyone.

Erik - so sorry about your hard drive. I recently saw the light and bought an external backup drive. I haven't done the actual backup for awhile though. Thanks for the reminder!

Does your neice already have a passport? Just checking in case you hadn't thought about those logistics yet.

Everyone, I was thinking about all the game activity ideas. I know how hard it was to get together on the last cruise, even for the things with pre-planned locations and times. It seems most things ended up getting cancelled because of conflicts with other things people wanted to do instead (once they saw the navigators). Maybe we should have a designated game area on the ship so that we wouldn't have to try to arrange ahead of time. Maybe we could just have a place where people could show up and if there are enough people hanging around, maybe get a game together. Places that come to mind are Diversions, Promenade lounge, and deck 7 aft. Sort of a designated DIS hangout for people that are looking for other DIS people and something to do?

Hey Paranoid Busy-Body, :rotfl2: :rotfl2: (Sorry I couldn't resist teasing you!)

You're probably right....although we all love seeing the information, less is more in some cases! :) My coworker is doing the AIDS Walk (like Jason and I) with her son and she put a picture of her and her son on the page as well as their names (which are required for the site) but then she was putting their HOME MAILING ADDRESS in the text of the page for people to send her donations/checks in the mail if they didn't want to make a credit donation online. When I saw her page I made her take it off immediately because having your 6 year old's picture, name and address online is just inviting the opportunity for something bad to happen!!

Hey all...FYI...I got some more info about the little gift being sent out. According to the rep at DCL that my TA talked to....the gift being sent out is a CASTAWAY CLUB gift and is not related to this cruise...the fact that some people have gotten them is a coincidence. She also said that they are all scheduled to be mailed to all Castaway Club members by early May which means that some of us, indeed, may not get our gifts til after we get back from the trip. We DO, however, have a "very nice" gift to look forward to in our rooms when we board the ship.

Yeah sure right...I am still waiting to get a Castaway Club Card in the mail after my first cruise in 2003!!! And yes I have called and asked. That is the one area where DCL really seems to fall down and other cruiselines really seem to excel at.
