May 11 WONDER – documents have not yet arrived

My DW, DS (12), DD (9), and I are scheduled to sail on the May 11 WONDER. Since this is our first-ever cruise, we are all very excited and a bit nervous. We have not yet received our cruise documents from DCL. Since we are quickly approaching the 2-week-out point, I'm getting a little concerned about the documents. Is anyone else out there on the May 11 sailing of the WONDER? If yes, have you received your documents yet?

We are sailing on the Wonder May 15th and received our documents a week ago. I would definitely give them a call. You should have received them about 30 days out. We got ours 28 days out.

Thanks. I just heard from Cathy at DU that DCL sent our documents yesterday via 3-day UPS. Maybe I’ll get them tomorrow...

Maybe it's a May 11 thing -- we haven't received our docs yet either, and we also booked with DU.

I emailed Monday, docs should have been sent out Tuesday, so I'm hoping to have them by the weekend!

Ours came in today (April 24) for June 7 sail date.

Isn't it a little weird that the documents for June sailings appear to be arriving before the documents for the May 11 sailing? With an organization that is run as smoothly as Disney, this seems strange to me. I wonder what could be the explanation?

We sail on May 11th Wonder and have had our docs for 2+weeks.

We are on the 11th and have had our docs for 2-3 weeks and the TA had them a few days!!
Wow still none and 16 days out!
I'd be going batty!!!

When cruises go into group status (meaning there are at least 8 staterooms booked on that sailing with the agency) then the documents go out a little later. The upside of that is that if you are a Dreams client and your sailing is in group status you will get a gift in your stateroom.

Just in time for weekend browsing. Now I *really* feel like our Wonderful vacation is here! Pinch me please -- I must be dreaming!

Ima Princess, yes our documents also arrived on Friday. Hooray indeed! I was beginning to worry. DW and I spent this afternoon looking through the information. It really does make it feel like our Disney vacation is almost here. Our kids are even starting to get excited. Since we're first-timers (never cruised before) we don't know exactly what to expect. Even though I've done a lot of research and reading (mostly on these boards), there's still enough of an "unknown" to the whole cruise experience to make me a little anxious. Even so, I'm looking forward to a very fun and relaxing cruise. We'll see you on the ship!
