Hi everyone,

We just did the Med cruise and booked this Alaska cruise onboard. We got upgraded from category 11 to 5 on the med cruise! I booked cat. 11 again for the Alaskan cruise, am bracing myself if we don't get upgraded...

I guess what I am really looking forward to on this trip is sitting with a nice cup of hot coffee and watching the coastline slide by... mmmm paradise.. Both my husband and I are not hot place lovers so when this trip came up we were all over it like syrup on a pancake but it seems all the trips other than this one are in the heat (I love the air conditioning inventor!!) We manage tho..lol

You took the words right outta my mouth! Can't wait to snuggle in a quilt on our veranda and feel the steam of my coffee warm my face!

It's supposed to snow here tomorrow... so the cold in Alaska won't bother us AT ALL!

Yeah my husband and I like to wing it and take the slow route to really see a place.. I hate rushing and trying to remember what I just saw..lol There are a bunch of places I would love to go.. hoping we get to see them all in time

But Alaska is sooooo pretty.. I am hoping to see all the wildlife I can (at a safe distance..lol) and breath in the fresh ocean air

Are you guys making any ressies for Palo.. we loved the dinner we had (GET the chocolate souffle!!) but want to try the brunch this time.

Can you book both brunch and a dinner ressie? because I think both look sooo yummy!

Well I can vouch for supper! but my husband and I love seafood and the brunch looks like it serves a lot of that

So I would suggest booking the one you really want and when you get on the ship go to the courtesy desk and see if they have openings for the other.. if the ship is as empty as it seems they will have room me thinks

The other regular meals that we are served at supper were very good and I don't think I wanna miss any this time so thats why we are going with brunch as well. Also this time I think we might partake of the breakfast served in the dinning rooms this time.. nothing wrong with the buffet but I like the pampered feeling I get by being served.. LOL and after all we are paying enough to deserve it as well..LOL And this time I really want to try the room service!! Our last trip we had 4 of us in the room (two adults one 20 year old and one 17 year old) so no one ever wanted to stay in the room for too long.. LOL waaaaaay too crowded and the mess!!

Hi we just moved over to this cruise, we are 3 adults, mom dad and DS 25. Stateroom 2078 and we are early seating. Looking forward to our Alaska cruise!

Hi All! My roommate and I have decided to join you as well. I'm Sarah (28) and my roommate TJ (30) are excited that the prices have fallen to the point where we can afford to come. This is my 5th DCL cruise and his first cruise ever. I'm really looking forward to seeing some new areas but hope that it won't be too cold.

We are so sad that we won't be able to join our good friends Sean & Bernie on this cruise or meet any of you, but financially, it just wasn't in the cards for us.

We waited until the last minute, just in case, but now that the final payment is due next week, I had to move our reservation to dummy date until the October 2012 Fantasy rates come out to book.

We have made our final payment on the cruise and now we are ready to book some trips.. I think we have decided on the following:
1) White pass Train ride
2)Whale watching boat tour + Mendenhall glacier
3) Robertson Tram

I think we will spend the day in Ketchican just wandering and seeing the sights

Anyone else have any plans?

We have been tossing ideas back and forth and still trying to figure out what excursions we are going to do.

We just booked on this cruise! My DH will be deployed during this time, so our party will consist of me, my mom, and my two girls (ages almost 5 and almost 3 at sailing).

We are all so very excited!! My mom has cruised with Disney before, but never to Alaska. We just cruised to Alaska in Sept, but never cruised with Disney.

Cannot wait for this!

Hi everyone,

I met my kids' dad on an Inside Passage ferry almost 20 years ago, and I'm looking forward to showing my daughters (ages 8 and 10) how beautiful it is up there. My husband is no longer with us, but he loved Disney (he named his first dog Mickey, after the mouse), and he loved Alaska, so he will be with us in his fun-loving spirit.

We'll be early diners, and we'll take as many excursions as we can. I'm more excited about this cruise than my kids are!

Can anyone tell me what the door magnets are all about?

Booked Excursions this morning Doing the Exclusive Whale watching and Mendenhall Glacier, the Takshanuk Mountain Trail 4x4, and Rainforest Wildlife Sanctuary, Raptor Center and Totems.

Wanted to do the Disney Exclusive Lumberjack show, but it is showing no availability :-(

Hi, sorry things have been crazy in my work life. Implementing a new web site is definitely a large task.

I'm excited only about 100 days left!

My wife and I are doing the Glacier Discovery by Helicopter and Sunset Horseback Ride, Mendehall Glacier and Whale Quest, Rainforest wildlife sanctuary and totems.

...time to catch up on all the posts!
