is the website diettogo? And for three meals a day it's around $116 for three weeks?
How is the food?

I am not going to wear a name tag! I am going to wear a ticky-tacky shirt and see who can find me!

She has been skating a lot, but they never share stuff because the sizes are so different. They do share a locker room with the hockey players, but not towels or anything. She never showers at the rink, it scares me. I am wondering if it could have come from school or somewhere like that.

I can definetely see why teenagers would just let this go. She is little so I see everything and I am a freakish parent about stuff like that, but if she were a teenager, I don't know if I would have seen anything at all and just thought she had a bug.

I also felt bad, because the Dr. was really concerned about how good our prescription drug plan was. We actually have a really good one because I get to choose, but I thought how sad, a child has a staph infection and cannot get the best possible medication because of the drug plan. This seems wrong. (sorry high horse)

You will never know where she got the staff...so don't drive yourself crazy worring about it. (I do do that with everything...so I know it is hard not to). You are lucky she is little enough to let you see what was going on....my 14 year old would never show me.

I went to a local urgent care facility a few weeks ago because I could see I had an infection in my finger. It was all swollen and red. The doctor saw me, lanced it, had me soak it, and that was it. I was there about an hour - even counting the wait. I got the bill the other day . . . FIVE-HUNDRED AND FOUR DOLLARS! Is that crazy? The bill said something like "surgery" - for God's sake he poked my finger! Since it has been a mostly healthy year for me, and I had nowhere met my $250 deductible, I owe over $300.

No wonder we have a health care crisis.

I hate to see my FIL's hospital/doctor bills. Don and I were guessing upwards of $300,000. He was a DC firefighter which made him a Federal Employee (retiree) so he has awesome insurance. His station guarded the White House, so he used to make lots of trips there. (mostly kitchen fires) You retire with the same insurance you had during your working career.

I am most afraid of retiring because of the insurance issue.....

My MIL loves this stuff called Trent Pottery. He is a local Los Gatos artist. I think we started sometime in the 70s. Not everything was good from that time....So MIL buys a piece of pottery for wedding gifts for any wedding she is invited to. I hate the stuff (DH thinks it's ugly too), but she loves it, and I can't tell her that I hate it because she would be personally offended and it might cause the next WW in our family. We had dodged the bullet until our 11th anniversary. We got the Trent Pottery bowl. :scared1: Okay here's the funny part. I was snooping the web on pet cremations for my mom's little dog Rikki, and I found that the artist Trent, now makes custom pottery containers for ashes for pets, that he creamates in his kiln or something like his kiln GROSS :scared1: :rolleyes1

okay that's it. I hate the stuff my MIL gives us. Anyone else out there have that same situtation?

When my MIL was alive, she would only buy gifts at the dollar store. They had plenty of money, but she thought that way the kids could have more to open. Oh my, each child would have 100 gifts......all were thrown away by a few days after Christmas. My house got so junked up. It would DRIVE ME CRAZY and I have to admit I do not miss that part now that she is gone. Can you imagine each Christmas she would wrap 500 gifts for her grandkids????

Hey, I just noticed that I hit 3k posts tonight. That's not bad for doing it in one year and two months. If I keep up at this rate, maybe I can catch up to Holly....Not!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Just a few weeks ago we were the same!!:rotfl2:

I hear the showers in the fitness centre are rather nice.:confused3 ;)

Pj

This is the only place that I shower on the ship. It is awesome. I LOVE IT!!

How is the food?

I loved the food. I lost 40 pounds. Do not do this if you plan to cheat, as it will not work. YOu have to stick to the plan. Otherwise, it is just a waste of money. My advise is to do lunch and dinner and not breakfast. Just have a small bowl of Special K with Skim milk for breakfast.

Good Morning everyone....I'm doing a fly by coz I'm busy doing my lists....I just cleaned up my PMs to make room for more out/in and printed out all the ones I'll need. Next to do my emails. Then start putting the lists together....I have three of them.....Champagne Girls, High Tea and coming/cancelled. So I won't be back on till later. I'm streaming hours of Justin Timberlake on my Ibiza....I think he rocks and I love my Ibiza.

Hi

I was checking the dcl and it was down that was about 4 hours ago. Now, I see that only one available is Cat 8.

Deb - Are you organising the Champagne Girls?

We still have gty room, yet no room numbers yet.

Are we wearing the Green Lime tee shirt or everybody wear own tee shirt?

I am thinking to wear the Scotland tee shirt for first day?

Are we meeting at the first day on the Disney Cruise?

I Just wonder

Hi guys, I'm not on your Repo (we're on the EB), but I wanted to pass some info along to you. Not sure if it has already been posted. If so, sorry for the duplication.

In talking to DCL this morning when linking ressies, I asked if they had any idea of the theme nights for the EB. She said no, but they just got the WB nights.

This is not all of them, but a few she highlighted were:

Night 3: Formal Night
Aruba: Tropical Night
Night 8: Semi-Formal Night
Acapulco: Mexican Night
Cabo: Pirate Night (I'm surprised at that one since it is NOT in the Caribbean)
Night 14: Ballroom Under the Stars Formal Night

Enjoy your cruise. Your 90-day booking time should be coming up real soon.

Mexican night sounds great! I like that one!! So, does Ballroom under the stars.

Going to have to find some tropical wear!! That should be fun over here!:lmao:

She did say that the other nights were "cruise casual".

I didn't ask her if there were any themes, but if you called in, they should have the whole itinerary of nights available to give you.

I told my wife about the "Ballroom Under the Stars" and I've been forewarned that she will be going shopping. :sad2:

OK. I'm one of those lurkers. I've been lurking for over 4 months, but I had a GREAT reason.

The cruise was a Christmas gift to my wife and son. I guess I'm not great at hiding surprises, because the wife figured me out about 3 months ago. I was in heavy denial since then, until now. Since I was afraid of giving too much away, I have been resigned to lurking. Now that it's out, I am happy to announce that my DW (Beth), DS (Jack - 6) and myself - DH (Stacey) will be on the cruise. We live in Santa Clarita, California (near Six Flags Tragic Mountain). Please add us to the list of those going. We are staying in 7548 and are looking forward to the vacation.

We are looking for all the advice from you experienced cruisers as this will be our first Disney Cruise. We did do a short 3 night cruise to Ensenada on another cruise line, but it was not our style.

Our DS is looking forward to the trip, but at 6 it's hard to get too excited this far in advance.

Also, how does one go about ordering a Laynard?

Finally, are there any DIS meets scheduled in the coming months, especially in the Southern California area?

See you on board!!!

Woohoo, another cruising family!! Welcome. What a lovely gift to your family.

There are a couple of boys around Jack's age and a whole gang of girls!!!:)

It wouldn't surprise me at all if there isn't another meet sometime in your area so keep reading!

Lanyards are being organised, but I think till the 90 day mark nothing definite - as with many of the things organised so far. The front page has some info as does 2 other websites.
