Hi Deb,
I just read an article today about losing a loved one over the holidays. It said that the first time the holidays pass without that person is difficult, but the second time can be even worse. The first year is full of change and turmoil, and the second year, you have more time to think. I can tell you that I personally am feeling the loss of my mom more this year. She passed so close to Christmas (Dec 3) , and we went on that December cruise, that I don't think I had the ability to process it all.
This year is different, and I keep wondering if Holidays will ever be the same . . .
John, I so get ya. This is the 2nd Xmas without my dad. Last year sucked, badly. This year I'm trying to honor him, but so lonely at the same time. I still feel like it will never be the same again for anything. I want to be a good parent and wife and child for my kids, husband and mom, but sometimes it's just so hard when the person that knew you the best is gone.
Since you'll be in mixed company, why don't you just call it the zippity doh da gang!!! It fits.
That's the ticket, you found the perfect name, thanks Deb..

Good heavens these are works of art!!!! Such a wonderful job. Are these gifts or for sale? Remind us again how many of you make these. Thanks for sharing your work
Ooooh, if I could afford it, I'd do the Baja 1000 Test Track in Cabo! But not for $325!!!
I gotta go see what this is, racing??? Car racing??? Oh my boys just might love me for being the OCD travel planner that I am....
Daniel and Annie both work at Chick-Fil-A!! Others have told you about the restrauant....but we love the fact that it is closed on Sunday...church and stuff.
They have 1340 stores in 37 states and DC. They are the second largest chicken quick service rest in the US. They have been around for 39 years! Sales are 2.2 BILLION dollars!!
I went to the store locator and within 50 miles of you there are 4 stores.
You should try it!! We love it!!

Lisa,
More California geography lessons for you are in order....50 miles, not so much...they are all Southern CA, I'm Northern CA. Think Golden Gate bridge (kind close, ~60 miles from me) and
Disneyland...distance between the 2 places....off to google back in a second....370 miles 5.5 hours...
okay seriously I looked up Chick-a-fil, closest one isn't close enough, more than an hour away. No chicken sandwhich is that good. But when I see one in my travels I'd buy it in the future.
OK how long did it take from first date to knowing that you had met your lifemate? It took me and John 24 hours. How long did it take everyone else? Who is the shortest and who is the longest? Just curious!
I think I knew right away, within a few days, Paul hmmmmm 5 years or so

He has a hard time making any decissions...what's for lunch, oh boy that could take a few days....
okay, GREAT news. I was sitting at Frank's bedside holding his hand telling him about the kids and family news (like I have been doing every day)...
AND HE WOKE UP!
Lisa,
I'm so happy for you. This is such good news. More prayers your way for continued improvement for him.
We went to the $700 Store today....that's Costco during the holiday season

a few sneaky presents and some extra wine to have on hand....uggghhhh one big bill.
We're all in for the night ready to watch Survivor.

DON'T SPOIL IT FOR US!!!!
