John has to close tonight...bummer!! I think there are some new series coming on tonight though.

I am too tired for a girls night out......well, maybe I will get a second wind when I leave here.

Well, personally, I preferred 7 of 9 (the converted Borg) - Jeri Ryan. Something about that skin tight suit . . .

She makes my DH drool. But only as 7 of 9. When he sees her in Shark, not the same reaction at all. It must be that suit. ;)

1. We use Airborne on all our flights. From the website where you can get more information:

http://www.airbornehealth.com/about_index.php

Bonine, Dramamine Less Drowsy are both antivert (meclizine). Take a half dose at home to see if it knocks you out. It is likely that this amount will be enough if you are not prone to motion sickness.

I'm also a big fan of Airbourne. Volunteering in different schools each day, I get exposed to campuses filled with germs. Knock on wood, it keeps the yucky cruddies at bay. I never thought of it being like Tang. My dishwasher repairman said I should use Tang to clean my stainless steel dishwasher. hmmmm.

On the Bonine/Non Drowsy Daraminine, I used this stuff everytime I sail on the Tallships. I take 1/2 chewable with food - 1 hour before departure. If it looks like a particularly bumpy ride, I take another 1/2 chewable with a saltine cracker and water. I haven't lost my lunch yet, but that can't be said for others who didn't heed my advice.

Also, I use the accupressure cuffs for motion sickness. If I feel a wave coming on because I have to be inside the cabin of the boat, I press on the cuff and it helps the nausea go away. I always keep a handful on me to hand out to those who weren't quite prepared. It's important to me that everyone have a good time.

wow Holly, glad he and tooth are ok!
Thanks! Me too! That drive to pick him up was awful, not knowing what to expect when I got there. This is the 2nd time this has happened in a couple months, the 1st time being when day care thought he broke his nose. I suppose this is conditioning me for "the big one" that's bound to happen. This way, I'll be an old pro at driving there in a hurry while remaining calm.

And there will be plenty of what seems like 'big ones' to you, then ask yourself, do you remember the first time you lost a tooth? The young brain has a funny way of letting the small stuff go, but that switched got turned off when you became a Mommy. Isn't it ironic?

I'm waiting for House to start also! New TV season is awesome!

We don't really have a season as you do. Never really know when a new series will start. Sometimes we're several series behind you, although I don't think we're far behind with House.

I'm with you on that one....it never made me think of Tang. It's so bitter, I gag almost every time. I've tried all the flavors and for me, the hot apple cider version is the worst. It tasted like vomit, in my opinion. The only one I can really deal with is the new cherry pixies. It really does taste like pouring crushed vitamins directly on your tongue, but I just swallow quickly and drink a bunch of water afterwards to get rid of the taste. So the taste is definitely more intense, but it's over quicker! :rotfl2: BUT, it's still WAY better than getting sick!

I'm off to one of the schools now, healthy lunch club day. Catch you all later.

Hmmm....I don't remember my first tooth I lost, but I do remember how I loved to put feel the empty space with my tongue. :rotfl: Used to love sticking my tongue through that space at people! :lmao: However, I was lucky enough to never have a tooth get forced out before it was ready. I think it would have freaked me out too, but I'm glad he got over it quickly! Freaked out the teacher too when he was screaming and bleeding. :rotfl2:

Hi Deb!

I've watched the 4400 since it came out....very interesting season ender.

I seem to remember watching an episode or two of this one vacation, but it's never appeared this side of the pond. Well, at least not on terrestrial TV.

Does anyone know when 90 days out from May 10th is? I want to put it on my calendar so I won't forget!

Well, apparently the tooth fairy has to pay a visit tonight, but she has no money until payday this Friday! So off I go to Walmart to return the vaccuum I just bought. Great excuse not to have to do my floors tonight! :rotfl2:

Thanks for the help. I do hope I'm not affected.:sad2:

Okay, I feel old now.:surfweb:

My birthyear passed ages ago!:sad1: Well I actually went to look and it was only Sunday - dumpster chat, favourite rides and our new granddaughter. Still feel old though.

I wonder why they can't make the stuff taste good.:confused3

I remember watching a couple of episodes, but it looked complicated!! Now I'm watching Heroes!!!:confused3 :lmao:
