Monica, thanks for the info on Aruba.:thumbsup2

Thanks for posting that info Monica! :thumbsup2 Hmmm....didn't know about the brewery before. Might be something I need to do.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

ok I am majorly bummed. I got a 20 and need a 21 on the exam to certify. Now I have to retake it. Several other people did not pass as well....and the Director scored a 22!

And I haven't heard anything on the job front so I guess I didn't make a good impression.

Sorry about that V.:sad2: Looks like it was a hard exam if others didn't pass as well. Next time hey.

They certainly take some time letting you know about the job, positive or negative.

V - Olive Garden....yummmmmmmm! I may have to stop by there this weekend - you're making me think about their breadsticks w/ Alfredo Sauce.

When do you need to retake the test? Don't beat yourself up over it - especially if the Director only got a 22. Don't give up on the job yet either. I know my company takes a while to let anyone know anything.

My thoughts on the time in ports....this is just a taste....a tease...something to sample to let you know if you ever want to go back :lmao:

Monica, thanks for the info on Aruba.:thumbsup2

Marilyn - I think I have too much time on my hands this morning :rotfl: Hope this afternoon won't be too busy! Need me to find anything for you???

I am so proud of Haley....she is doing great on the potty training. I have no doubt that she will be fine as of the sail date to participate in the clubs.

V, don't worry! When you retake that exam, you'll pass with flying colors! And remember.....many others didn't pass, so it's not just you.

Regarding your job interview, think positive. They likely had a few days of interviewing to get through and then everybody has to discuss their favorites and come to a decision. So you're still in the running, without a doubt.

so I am sitting here with Olive Garden leftovers...nothing like some Italian comfort food to cheer you up!
I wish I had Olive Garden today! Might have to go there for dinner tonight. Yummy!

When I arrive at school yesterday Samantha was having a slight attitude. Seems they were playing games indoors as it was raining and she lost. She gets the have to win attitude from John, he will not let the girls win at anything....but I tried my best to explain to her that as long as you did your best you should be proud and be gracious and congratulate the winner. I told her I loved her no matter what.

Then I went on to tell her about a mommy daughter date we need to schedule and she seemed to like that. I think I may take her to Splatters - she can pick a piece of pottery to paint.

I thought if we switch off weeks and girls we can both have one on one time with both of them, something I think they both are desperate to have.

Right now, as soon as we sit down to eat, Haley says, Mommy sit by me, sit by me!

Monica, I think our plan for Aruba was to walk around the town looking at the interesting architecture etc. I am sure we will look in some shops but am even more sure we won't be spending any money!! The vacation is costing us an arm and a leg as it is!

Well done Haley, and well done Mom keeping up with everything.:)

I'm watching a film called Bermuda Triangle. Do we go anywhere near 'it'?

Our favourite store has begun using lime green plastic bags(we call them carrier bags) for the food department. Reminds me of the cruises everytime I shop there.

Need to go to the bathroom but I've just washed the hard floors and they are still wet!

It's funny what lime green will do to you!!

I look for it everywhere and if I see someone wear it I automatically think DIS!

I think all the cruises go through it because I'm pretty sure the Bahamas is near it. Then again, I've never been great with geography. But I'm pretty sure most Caribbean cruises travel through it.

Good afternoon...or evening....depending on your locale.

John...I love real life inspirational stories like that one. Thanks for giving us all a new perspective on living our lives.

PS. I LOVE monkeys....always wanted to have one until I found out how dirty they are and hard to keep....but Sophia's bathroom sounds like fun. Can you post a pic when it's all done....would love to see it.

V...everything does happen for a reason, so hang in there and to use a phrase from the past....keep on truckin'....your day will come and it will be the right thing for you when it gets here.

Also, Did you want to do a mini meet with me and John on Anna Maria OR a mini meet with the larger group at WDW OR both. You pick, I can do both.

Monica, thanks for all the Aruba info....I think a group of us are doing off road Jeeps on Aruba....but it gives us a good idea on what else is out there as we pass by at 90 miles an hour.....just kidding.

I have to leave in about 45 minutes.....gotta meet Ray, StepDad, with the Social Worker and tell him that his house is going up for auction. This is not going to be easy. Gotta give him a chance to do one last walk through and take anything else that he might want out of it. It's so hard on us I can't even imagine how hard it's going to be for him....that's why the Social Worker is going to be there when I tell him.

Play nice kiddos...have a fantastic day! :cloud9:
