BTW - got a big shock today when I went home for lunch . . . we applied for passports for Sophia and I on August 13th.

I got them in the mail TODAY!

They had told me sometime in November, so it was totally unexpected to get them that early. I wonder how that happened? I was expecting them in January!

Regardless, we are now all set ID wise for this cruise!

A friend of mine is going to be on Curious George sometime this fall. I guess the man in the yellow hat gets sick and George takes him to an acupuncturist. My friend is an ND, LAc in Boston and he and some of his younger patients will be on the snippet they do in the middle of the episode. Needless to say, his 4 year old daughter is so excited that her daddy is going to be on the show!

YEA! I got a good report today...we are finally making some progress....they cultured it and the infection is gone and the wound area is getting smaller and healing. They said they're going to try to have me in the pool by the time I do my Oct cruise. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Oh Nan, I'm sooooo sorry to hear more bad news about your mom. Is she of sound mind that she knows what's going on and can make decisions for herself? If so, she can choose what she is comfortable with doing and know that she gets to do what she wants. That's important. All you can do is love and support her and comply with her wishes. I know how taxing it is on you and the family. Just hang in there and be strong. If you need extra hugs and positive prayers and pixie dust and love, know that you have it in abundance right here from all of us. Don't forget to get lots of hugs from Molly and Wilson too. It helps! You're constantly in my prayers and thoughts for a positive outcome.

Thanks...I hate going there coz I know that it's going to hurt...not unbearably like the first place, but pain all the same. But I survived and it's over for another week....Only the visiting nurse twice a week...and she doesn't hurt me. They told me that they are doing better. Even the edema is better. So, all is good and going in the right direction. Thanks for your good wishes.

I am confused as well...I thought quite a few have dropped this cruise. Once we get closer I am sure we'll get a final list and have all the plans in place.

Yes, I'm putting that list together, but I have not started with all that has been going on in my life. We still have time and after my Oct cruise, things should get back to normal and I'll get it going in Nov. I work best under pressure anyway....It'll still be six months before cruise....so not really a lot of pressure.
