wow you guys have been busy....

I was a bit MIA this weekend. My dad came down, we went out to dinner on Saturday night and then Sunday he did the triathalon. Yesterday we hung out by the pool, watched football....and enjoyed the cleaned house! I hope it stays that way for a while.

Although you had a busy weekend, I'm sure it was nice to visit with your dad. Good luck on keeping the house clean.....if it's like mine, it will be a mess again in 2 days!

I read that the times changed for Acapulco...that is great, I would love to leave at night to see the city all lit up. And I think they have a night showing for the divers.

Oooooooh! Sounds very cool! I love leaving port at night and seeing all the lights. Very pretty!

another mundane Monday. The weather looks gorgeous...

Samantha woke up with a fever and coughing in the middle of the night. I gave her some Tylenol and she went back to sleep. This morning she seemed ok, but I was going to send her to Kids Under the Weather...(part of our daycare but physically at the hospital) and they are closed on Monday's! So probably around naptime I expect a call. I just can't take off this week - I figure she could sit with me in the office and John gets off at 2 so he could take her home. He is off tomorrow so she can stay with him.

I feel a little stuffed up myself. I think partly due to coming into the sir conditioning dripping wet from the pool.

yes, I had to stress to the girls to put things away last night and keep their toys all in one place instead of all over. I did fill two garbage cans of old toys...(broken, etc) I wanted to get rid of John's dresser full of old tshirts, but I think he would be heartbroken.

I've been at work for just over 2 1/2 hours and all I've done is make one copy. I probably just jinxed myself, but I thought today would be miserable because one secretary has the day off. Guess it's just a slow day.

Oh, you will. Just as much as usual. I take very frequent breaks. I'm the sort of person whose mind can't focus on a task for longer than 1/2 hour at a time, so I take a break and then hop back to it.

That is a longer span than I have!!

Hope the weekend went well for everyone....other than the sports losses

I didn't end up doing much at all this weekend...except for laundry ! Ended up doing comforters too. Yesterday I caught up on stuff that I had on the DVR and then worked at Epcot from 6-10pm. Was a beautiful night.

Holly - loved the pics of you & Tyler....looks like you had loads of fun.
Angie - glad you had a good anniversary weekend.
Noel - glad you had a good time at the wedding.
John1 - keep us informed on the WDW trip....hope it works out.

Quick ? from them.....do any of you recommend any babysitting service? They are not on property (staying at Vistana) and could use a recommendation if anyone has one! They have a baby, that basically would be sleeping. (I'm offering to babysit on Saturday night, but don't know what nights they want/need).

Bundle them up and hid them and make them (have them made)into a quilt or throw for him for Christmas or his birthday. Oh wait, you are in FL and it doesn;'t get cold there, make it into a wall hanging.

There are 2 that I am aware of...Kids Night Out and Fairy Godmothers. We have used FG 2x and have had great experiences. I think KNO is a bit more "official" with uniforms and such...but their prices show that. For us the FG's ended up being older woman who were retired in FL and doing this because they loved kids. They each had come with a bag of goodies and treats and they didn't put up with much nonsense from the kids! Our kids loved the sitters each time. Hope this helps. I am sure you can do a search on the disney family board and get more info.

We're meeting at a bar for happy hour....about 4pm-ish....obviously, when you're with the original champagne girl....you'll be ordering a bottle of champagne. Mandy suggested either Capt. Jacks at DTD or House of Blues. I'm not sure if they have White Star champagne. Can anyone give me some suggestions as to where we should meet and share a bottle of champagne together at 4pm? YIPPEE!!!! Got my e-mail from DU this morning with the link to their online payment form. Paid for 1/2 of my mini-cruise because my darn credit card only allows a certain amount of charges per day. So tomorrow I get to pay for the other 1/2 and be all set! WOOHOO!!!

So good to hear from you!! Glad you DD did well in her skating competition. I remember years ago when Samantha skated doing a parents hospitality suite with Kristie Yamaguchi's mom, Carole. She and the other parents convinced me the cost of competition at their level ($100K per year) was not something that Samantha would be doing.

Some of the 10 year olds here have sponsors already... It is insane!
