part of the package is getting to book ressies early.

Ok....who is thinking of doing it...just for that....I am.

We had it last time and I felt so much safer and much more on CONTROL (and we know how nice that is, right OCD team....)

The package isn't the same. We got the massage. I like the robe(s) but DH won't want one..Might have one to sell if anyone wants it let me know.

N

Well since we are not doing excursions and I only want Palos brunch, I think I'll save my money. Maybe I can get an upgrade at the port - it's worth a try IF I get there early.

for me it was to get Palo's on the night we wanted it. and yes because I'm a control freak. I knew we would do a massage anyways so it wasn't that much more money. the turn down service with rose petals on our bed was beautiful. I'll really have to consider it this time. ~ 300 for a robe and early ressies, not sure it's worth it.

and I am sorry for posting so many pictures..but I love looking at everyone's pictures (except ones of me!!). Plus - it's helpful when we meet! I can remember walking up to the check in counter at PC and John1 saying Hi V! - we had never met, simply messaged our way through the DIS and I had friends!!!!

Boy, I forgot all about that - too many memories!

Now, Mexican night I have no clue what to wear????? If we have Tropical night I'm good. I have tropical floral shirts for both of us to wear with white pants.

What do you wear for Mexican?:confused3  :confused3

Here are some ideas

We haven't heard from Deb after her doc appt, have we? I hope everything is OK! :scared:

I have been thinking about her all day. I have been looking to see if she has posted.

I just heard tonight that a friend of mine (also named Deb) who found out her cancer was back about 2 weeks ago (had lymph nodes removed) got cellulitis from the surgery. She can not start chemo until it clears up.....5-6 weeks now. She is very sick, like Deb, but has the cancer on top of it to try and manage.

I hope our Deb is okay......

Our kids have Cinco De Maio events at school so we have some clothes for this event...

Our Dec cruise is our first ever cruise!!

I had thought to wash my undies by hand, but where do you put them when the room steward can be in and out all day?:rotfl:

I think hanging them from the Verandah railing is customary, since the room stewards never go out there . . .:rolleyes1

sorry for your Deb friend's sad news. also condolences on your friends death. I've been sending up prayers for you and DH.

not doing it. I can't think that I would want my undies hanging in the wind while we cruise the world.... :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

okay, my undies have mickey on them.... they might be stolen :scared1:

We'll be married 11 years on November 30th. We married 5 years to the day (the day after Thanksgiving, ok 2 days it was Saturday) so together for 16...Man that sounds like a long time...ok I'm feeling old.

We will hit 22 years on THIS cruise . . . now THAT's a long time, but just over halfway to 40!

how about we make undies a souvenir must have on this trip????

Kim, whenever you get back on here, are you bringing yours with the seven dwarves?

(don't ask me how I know)

And, with that, I am caught up, and can get to bed by 11!

My packing list is getting longer and longer. :rolleyes1 Going to have so much to bring. You should see my list of things to buy that I have picked up on this board. Clock, downy release spray, extra power points, bungee cord for verandah door, wire coat hangers, sea sickness meds, etc, etc, etc!!!

Be careful with the downy release. Test it before the cruise, I tried it and was allergic to it. Also on the boat disney gives Meclizine an amazing seasickness pill at guest service for free. Also ginger pills were great!

Marilyn, I'll be doing laundry too! I'm a light packer, so I expect I'll do laundry twice.

No laundry for me. On the 10 night I had clothes left over!! It is just us too so I think I can pack enough. I hope so I will not do laundry on vacation (I say this now, watch I will be).

We are a bit sad tonight. We sent our dog Gator to go live with my mom. She has five acres and there is plenty of room to run. Gator has been sort of lost since Lilly (her mom) died and my mom has a rottie named Big Un - and he's truly is the size of a small pony and they lost Gator's father Ernie last year so Big Un is pretty lonely as well. I know it will be good for both of them, but I am sad just the same.

I am sorry! I have to dogs too. I bought a house with a big backyard for them and my mom tells me she wants to keep them. She hated them before but says they grew on her. I really miss them but they get more attention and room to run and I see them at least twice a week.

Happy Anniversary!!!

How long has everybody been married and yes I mean to the same person? I married my HS sweetheart and we've been married for 37 years.

DH and I have been married a little over a year. We have known each other for 8 years. We met in High School. First day of High School my DD (who is a doctor) told me he met the guy I was going to marry and it was Matt. I told him no way he was a dork. Guess what!!!:rotfl2:

Where's the cell where I put in my credit card limit?

I am afraid he left that off! :rotfl:

I probably won't. On vacation, I want to leave the world behind me. The people we're chatting with here, I'm sure I'll be chatting their ears off in person! Be afraid....be VERY afraid! :rotfl2: And I'll just use my cell phone to chat with Tyler back home. :thumbsup2

DH might have his with him but I won't have mine. Cell phone only. On our last cruise I said no internet. He did well or so I thought. Turns out I fell asleep early one night and guess where he was. He sent our families e-mails to tell them we were ok but not to tell me he was on the computer,:yay: .

hmmmmm. I want to know how you know...

Venetia:

I think this is the place I ordered Molly's butterflies from. (at least it was saved in my favorites under "Molly's bday butterflies)

http://abutterflyaffaire.com/index.htm

They were wonderful and I highly recommend the service.

I'll try to find some of my hard copy pictures from the event and scan them in for your to see the actual butterflies. They were so calm I took pictures of Molly and each of her friends as the released each butterfly.

Thank you for getting the information for me. I have checked out others, but I think I will go with your recommendation.

Well, we're off to dinner - it's our anniversary too! 14 years!!!!!!

Hope everyone had a magical day!

I'm definietly cutting back on casual things...I'll let DCL do my laundry...but not underwear!!!! Guess I'll have to bring enough of those for the entire trip!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

:thumbsup2

Happy Anniversary!!!

We have been married 16 years, together 20 (17th anniversary is on the cruise next year).

I thought we were the only ones not planning on doing any excursions or dinner at Palo's. Nice to know we aren't! We love Palo's brunch!!!

hmmmmm. I want to know how you know...

I'll let Kim explain . . .

I thought John1 was decorating the spanks for us again this cruise?;)

Yesterday, I saw a lady walking on the street with Bedazzled jeans, while I was drinking my soda driving in the car, and I almost sent a whole mouthful of soda out through my nose!

OK, so the Indians tied the Twins in the 9th, and now I can't go to bed!
