Ok now I know what to hit... although

SEEING the URL is easier for posting purposes isn't it? It doesn't take up pages and pages that way. And if people do NOT want to view them they don't have to. HMMMM I might have something here!:confused3

Ok, you guys get to post your "kids" now you have to look at mine!!! :rolleyes1

ok....that didn't work....but I see you figured it out!

gorgeous! My cousin had horses....I loved them but they are tons of work and lots of $$!

One of our softball friends does barrell racing and has about three horses currently.

Indeed! My chesnut (Arabian) I've had since he was 3 months old - he's 22 !!!!

The buckskin mare - is my DH's horse ( ) ! I used to run barrels! When I was in high school - I got into jumping and English way back and have never looked back. Although we usually ride "western" when we do trail riding or when people come to visit. These were taken during Woody's trip.

I'm glad you are enjoying them. I'm done now... but I will tell Holly the story.

My friend Barb and I went up to Flagstaff for a day of trail riding in the summer years back. There was a little "fair" going on and this lady had a Llahma (sp?) and she said to be careful when approaching because horses are afraid of Llahma's. So Barb (competitive pal that she is) said, OH? And began to walk her Thorobred mare up to this Llahma, at about 10 feet her little mare did the best ROLLBACK I've ever seen a T-bred do. (Rollback, is when a horse spins three legs completely around balancing on one hind leg) and then hit the grass running! :scared1: It was so funny.... HOWEVER, then my competitive nature kicked in :rolleyes1 and I walked Marquie (my arabian) right up to the Llahma and he touched that Llahma's nose and the Llahma back up at about 50 miles an hour, afraid of MY HORSE!

I was so proud... Marquis ADORES other animals, and will always try to say hello... :yay:

My cousin Heather's horse was 1/2 Arabian and 1/2 Appaloosa?? Very very pretty and was called freckles for the frecked marking on her second half. They lived in Brooksville but had to get rid of her when the girls grew up.

"my Grandaddy's horses" as I always call them - the Budweiser horses. I am not even sure how it started, he is not a beer guy in any case. I think we used to eat at a pizza place that had the Bud horse rotating sign and then we went o Busch Gardens and saw them....they are truely gorgeous creatures.

They are truly the gentle giants. I will try and take a photo of one of the Fresians out at the stables. Did you ever see the movie LADYHAWKE???

Michelle Pfeifer and Rutger Hauer? The horse in the film is a Fresian - they are big like Clydsdale's but black. They come from Europe and are beautiful. It's a great movie if you've never seen it, romance, curses, true love story. Ok, I better jump in the shower so I can meet Jackie so she can get her "last cake" before we get back on program tomorrow!

Have a great Labor Day - everybody!

My DH loves all the Rutger Hauer movies - I don't think we've seen that - will have to check it out!

HUGH Rutger Hauer fan here! Not too many movies where he's the good guy, but I love him anyway.

Sharpay:
Its out with the old and in with the new,
Goodbye clouds of Gray, hello skies of blue
A dip in the pool, a trip to the spa
Endless days in my chaise
The whole world according to moi
Excuse Me Thank You
Iced tea imported from England,
Lifeguards imported from Spain,
Towels imported from Turkey,
Turkey imported from Maine,

Sharpay and Ryan:
We're gonna relax and renew,

Sharpay:
You, go, do!

I want fabulous,
That is my simple request,
All things fabulous,
Bigger and better and best,
I need something inspiring to help me get along,
I need a little fabulous is that so wrong?

[Fabulous Lyrics on http://www.lyricsmania.com]
Fetch me my jimmy choo flip flops,
Where is my pink prada tote?
I need my tiffany hair band,
And then I can go for a float.

Ryan and Sharpettes:
A summer like never before

Sharpay:
I want more!

Ryan and Sharpettes:
She wants fabulous,
That is her simple request,
All things fabulous,
Bigger and better and best,
She needs something inspiring to help her get along,
She needs a little fabulous is that so wrong?

Fabulous pool, fabulous splash,
Fabulous parties even fabulous trash,
Fabulous fashion, fabulous bling,
She's got to have fabulous everything.

Ryan and Sharpay:
Nothing to Discuss
Everything's got to be perfect.

Sharpay:
For me

Ryan:
She wants fabulous,
That is her simple request,
All things fabulous,
Bigger and better and best,
She needs something inspiring to help her get along,
She needs a little fabulous is that so wrong?

Sharpay:
This won't do, that's a bore,
That's insulting, I need more!
I need, I need,
I need, I need,
I need, I need

I Need FABULOUS!

Sharpettes:
Fabulous Hair, fabulous style,
Fabulous eyes and that fabulous smile.

Sharpay:
I like what I see,
I like it a lot

Sharpettes:
Is this absolutely fabulous?

Ryan:
Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous?

Sharpay:
Absolutely... NOT!

(Thanks to Aaron for these lyrics)

High School Musical 2 Lyrics

this is Samantha's new fav song...she keeps singing it again and again and again!

these two girls and their imaginations....my word, you guys need to witness this stuff! Samantha is making us tickets for a bullet train ride to Austrailia to a wine festival.....
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Can I come too?!

I love pictures!!! (as you can probably tell!!) Post away!
ME TOO! Pretty! And I love the cacti in the background (is that the plural for cactus?). You probably don't even notice them, but they look so cool to me, never having seen a real one.

I was thinking the same thing and made John come look as well - it's probably like a palm tree to me! (here in FL)

Too funny! I'll bet that was a sight to see! :rotfl: I don't know a speck about horses, but it sounds like yours is brave! I had no idea they live as long as yours! For some reason I thought they live around 15 years or so.

and I am sorry for posting so many pictures..but I love looking at everyone's pictures (except ones of me!!). Plus - it's helpful when we meet! I can remember walking up to the check in counter at PC and John1 saying Hi V! - we had never met, simply messaged our way through the DIS and I had friends!!!!

I broiled rib eye steaks for an early dinner. Baked an apple pie for DrHug also.
Sounds so good! Everybody here talking about food....makes me regret giving in to my craving for Doritos & salsa earlier this afternoon! Never got hungry again after that, so I suppose that was my dinner since I'll be going to bed soon. Have to get back on track eating right starting tomorrow. But I suppose a day of backsliding won't kill me. Hmmmmm.....I think I said that a couple times last week too! :rotfl2: Oh well....life goes on!
