has anyone found (or have) a good hanging toiletry kit for kids? I looked at the one on Lillian Vernon but it doesn't have good reviews.

Vanessa has landed in JFK. JFK is only a few hours up the road, but the flight they gave her had her lay over for 7 hours! She does not get to Dulles till 9pm tonight.

DC is hot. I think I heard the heat index is 110 degrees I have been inside all day getting ready for her to come.

Lisa

All the best. I am sure you are all going to hit it off just fine!

Dr Hug - yes it is lovely to see you here.

I should have never sat down!

Haley wants to throw a softball in the house! Oy! Can you say broken window?

have we gone through our usernames yet?/QUOTE]

Mine's pretty uninspiring. Tigger because he's my favourite character, 137 is my 'last 3', ie the last 3 numbers of my military service number.

I'd like to come up with something better but I don't think there's the facility to change it, other than completely re-registering.

I use the same user name everywhere. Of all the hats I wear, being MrsMork is the role that gives me the most pleasure, pride and really defines who I am inside. And yes, he does give the best hugs in the whole world. When we were camping with lots of family this month he would be sitting in a camp chair and every few minutes someone would stop by to get one of his hugs or sit on his lap and snuggle a few minutes.

Somehow I knew you'd rescue me on this one Kaylee....thanks!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Lisa, Calmom, I expect you to chime in on a shoe now too!!!!

The best Fish and Chips I've had....where from Seattle, funny huh? Okay
2nd, 3rd, 4th and the rest of the best...London  Memories of our honeymoon

Ha, a best Lake reading memory was the summer we all raced to read Jurassic Park. We had 4 reading and only 3 books. Can you tell the fur was flying sometimes to grab that "extra" one....

Summertime at the lake meant mom and dad wouldn't tell us to turn out the lights at night so we got to read read read....I'm that girl that stays up until 3 or 4am reading on vacation. My silly daughter stays up most nights until 11pm reading too, it's really a good bad habit to have I guess.

I'm waiting on my toes to run over to mom's place (the party is in a hall at her residence) but she checks in daily (to make sure they are all safe and sound) and we can't very well be lugging our party stuff thru the doors until she is back in her apartment...kinda a tricky operation, much like spy stuff....

Had a great night last night with aunt/uncle and cousin/wife from Pasadena. Oh my how I miss my dad. I love his sis (my aunt) but she reminds me so much of my own dad.

off to order the balloons. :dance3:

I am still at Lake Almanor until tomorrow, then home for a few days. The weather has been perfect every day!!

Hope you mother's surprise party stays a surprise and that everyone has a fabulous time!!

I've always wanted to go see John Edward! I used to watch his show ALL the time when it used to come on TV, but I haven't been able to find it for a few years. :sad2:

I got to see John Edward when he was in Tampa a few years ago. I loved watching him but have always kept a open mind. The lady next to me got read. I got such goose bumps, it was amazing and to watch her reactions and know that this was real .

 The best batter has beer in it!! And really the fish and chips should be cooked in lard! I don't think any chip shop does that now though fortunately for our arteries.:rotfl:

OK, youve got my mouth watering now . Was thinking of when I was in London and had fish and chips the first night and I think we went back to that place 3 or 4 times during the week. LOL could have been more with all the beer we had:lmao:

My kids always liked the LL Bean ones with their initials on them.

ok break time....two more loads done and I cleaned out three of my dresser drawers and filled two garbage bags of clothes. It's kind of nice to get rid of stuff...I've always wanted a model bare home but we are all pack rats so that isn't going to happen.

Are you for hire? LOL Seems I cant get any of that done here. Working nights just sucks the energy out of you.

Compromised with myself and mowed only the front yard. :lmao: So my neighbors out front will be happy, but my neighbors behind me will cringe whenever they're in their back yard and see mine. :rotfl2: Just kidding....it's not that bad. The back is mostly shaded, so I only have to mow it every other time, which is very nice!

Off to bathe and head out for my McAlisters gigantic baked potato! My favorite is called Spud Max. It's covered with ham, turkey, bacon, cheddar, swiss, green onions, black olives, and I always have them add jalepenos. YUMMY!!!! Not good for my weight loss efforts, but too good to pass up! Especially since I'd hate to let my $5 coupon go to waste. ;)

Wow that sounds great! Now my mouth is watering.

Awww, that layover sounds awful. I'll be going right past there tonight on my way to NYC! Good luck getting your exchange student.

D'oh!!! Thanks Noel! That's perfect!

What size would you suggest for the cruise - maybe the 2-3 day? (to fit in our bathroom.

:rotfl2:

I have been told that cooking fish in batter is a very healthy way to cook fish - just don't eat the batter!

Noel, I love those hanging toilet bags. They look so sensible with the big pocket rather than the slim ones you usually get.
