You know what? I've been thinking (scary, I know).....since beer really is my beverage of choice, do you think the guys would let me be an honorary "Lost Beer Boy"?

Somehow after marriage, she lost this skill, and I have been ironing my own work shirts and pants every morning since. It must be some strange form of female amnesia yet to be explained by modern science.

Bobby is currently away, and on a secret mission. I have been sworn to secrecy. We'll see how it turns out. He will be back in time to go with us to the Beach though . . .

Has Noel posted lately? I haven't seen one but might have missed it. Was wondering how she was doing with the surgery.

Noel checking in for a quick post on what is happening in our lives.

I haven't been posting but have been reading. I saw my surgeon yesterday and had an EKG in preparation for the surgery. Since gall bladder surgery is not an emergency at this point (not having an attack now) but elective, I have to wait until the cardiologist reads my EKG before I can schedule the surgery. Not much energy and having to eat an extremely bland diet is not fun!!

My SIL still has health issues and now there is some concern about his kidney function which is ruining their summer. GS made the All Star Team in Brentwood and we are very proud.

I saw Lisa's post about the boat trip on the Tahoe Queen. We did the MS Dixie with Samantha when she was 4 in 1990 and have the sketch of her and her Dad hanging on the wall. Sam spent the entire trip looking for Tahoe Tessie.

Thanks for the tip on the local safari. I need to check it out for the GK's.

Last but not least, Cheryl (sister) called and said pipes must have froze and burst in laundry room at house in Lake Almanor so had to call a plumber. She forgot to turn water on lawn in May so lawn is dead. Sigh....hope I feel well enough this summer to go up and get yard cleaned up.

Will try to at least read and keep up.

Well, since there are no available single men onboard for me to scare away, I can say that growing up a tomboy, I can do just about anything else other than that (and actually have met that challenge in the past). LOL!

Exactly the same in our house! I do GREAT laundry! That way... no ironing!! I am also great with a steamer and it's good for traveling too!

And our cleaners loves us too, same with DH's shirts! It's worth a buck and a half a shirt to me as he only wears nice dress shirts a couple time a month!

FYI, if any of you have been following national news about the missing pregnant woman in Ohio, that is happening in our community. The alleged father is one of our assistant middle school football coaches. Sounds like a big MESS, and a terrible tragedy until she is found safe.

John...that story is so sad and tragic. I heard they found a newborn in the area but are not sure if there is a relation between the 2. I really hope it ends up positive with her being found alive. Her poor son, that was the worst part of the story for me.
