PJ is not that far from us in Canada Holly . . . Do you ever go to Cedar Point? We are planning on getting together with PJ at Cedar Point some time this summer. I am guessing that is about 3-4 hours for you (two hours for us).

There are some other Ohioans on our cruise . . . No one else from Michigan though . . .
I used to go to Cedar Point quite often in the late 80s & early 90s, but haven't been since 1995 or 1996. But I remember the little kid area (isn't it Snoopy or something? Camp Snoopy?) and have been thinking of taking Tyler sometime.

Hmmm.....I probably should take Tyler to the Hockey Hall of Fame too, since he's interested in hockey now. I haven't been there since '98.

I am John, haven't seen any animals yet though. This is the plug in needed, http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm.

Thanks PJ, will install on Amy's laptop since mine is at the Apple store . . .

Yes, Camp Snoopy. Maybe you can come on down when we are there.

Hmmmm.....might just have to do that! :thumbsup2

I just looked through all my pictures from our little trip, but am too tired to figure out which ones to post here. Too tired to think about it tonight. Tons of homework to do, laundry, unpacking, etc. OK...off to bed I go. Trying to come up with a good excuse for calling in tomorrow so I can get caught up on sleep and everything else, but nothing great comes to mind. :guilty: Guess it's back to the grindstone for me.

See you all tomorrow!

You could come down here, and see the Rock Hall of Fame, the Inventor's Hall of Fame, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, all on I77 from Cleveland to Canton.

Time for bed . . .

To everyone who has been so kind with their warm regards and to Lisa thanks for your prayers.

I have been diagnosed with acute cholecystitis which is inflammation of the gall bladder caused by gall stones.

Next appointment is with a surgeon prior to scheduling removal of my gall bladder.

My middle DD had this same surgery 9 years ago so I have some idea of what to expect.

For now, I am resting and taking it easy. I will try to keep up but haven't had the energy to do much.

Noel

Noel,

Thoughts, prayers and pixiedust: coming your way!

Let us know if there is anything that you need!

My cousin had to have gall bladder surgery when she was only 21! The doctors weren't sure what was wrong with her for 3 years, as they weren't looking for something like that in someone so young!

Best of luck!

Karen

Hey all....don't think I have checked in in a while. John left the top down on the Mustang last night and it poured...not a smart move!

We live on a little hill and have a very steep driveway that has a turn at the end. There is a cement border lining the driveway. We are like many CA families and park our car in the driveway as the garage is for other things like bikes, and toys, and cruise stuff. Last year, DH drives home and parks in the driveway. He claims the safety break was on and must have snapped. As he got to the front door he heard a big crash. Our cute little Z3 had rolled down the hill smashed into the cement border.

I joke that it was my little "freedom" car. Whenever I drove it, I wasn't just a mom of 4 DHs, I was a WOMAN ON THE ROAD! Ahh....now we have a 4-door Acura with 2 car seats in the back. Just isn't the same!

Prayers from me up for you :flower3:

Hi all! What, no Africam questions? I'm ready if you have any.:thumbsup2 Big male Impala on right now.

The "Africam" needs some kind of plug in that I do not have on my Mac, or for Safari. kind of ironic with a browser named Safari, I can't watch this . . .

Anyone else on a Mac watching this?

Able to view it on Firefox. Preview will launch it with Windows Media Player.

John - the homeowner's is not so bad on newer homes. It so happens ours is the set from the movie "Blast From the Past" (serious - watch it, that is my oven and I LOVE it! hate the kitchen!)

Just so happens "Blast" was on Encore the other day and we set the TIVO. Didn't really watch the movie, just fast forwarded to parts of the house.

WAY COOL!!

Hope you are doing ok. I assume you will go to Stanford or Sequoia? Both are great. I use to be a surgical nurse at Sequoia and have worked with all the doctors there. Let us know when you have the surgery so we can say extra prayers. Lisa

Bubba,

Was on earlier with DD 12, just sunrise and some birds.

Had to work for a bit online doing some mailing stuff, but I am back on now.

Now it's AMAZING!! Zebra, wildebeast, gazelles, so cool!

Ok, back to work!

Good morning Marilyn!

I wish it was cool and rainy!

It hit 101 today here near our house and 92 in Benicia (coastal town, not supposed to be so hot!!)

I hate the heat!!

Have a lovely day!

Karen, there must be somewhere where the weather is just right for us! 75deg, light breeze, and any rain at night!!:rotfl:

Lisa,

I loved our Acura RL! I traded it for an MDX and love the space, but miss how amazing that car drove!

Ted just got rid of the Suburban last January when the lease was up and now he drives a "Very swift" Accord! He seems to enjoy it, but I always feel like I am sitting to low to the ground now... how quickly we change, I drove a sedan type vehicle for 26 years and have had a SUV for only 5, but still prefer them now.

Thank you! Dreading going back to work today, but I just remembered this morning that one of my guys will be out all day due to a seminar, so at least I'll be able to get caught up on whatever work is piled up for me, as long as my other guy isn't too busy today. :thumbsup2
