We love Frontier! Have flown them out of San Diego to Phila a couple of times.

They have satellite tv available in every seat for $5 per leg. Plus they always serve a warm snack - like breadsticks with marinara sauce, soft pretzels and in themornings donuts.

Plus they have cute animals on the plane tails.

We've never flown them so it's good to hear they're reputable! Right now they have the best fare from LAX to MCO, so if that holds until they release May '08 dates, then this is great news to hear that you like them! :thumbsup2

I am sorry but I know I missed a post of someone who wanted to join me on the May 12th Fish Mail gift. I have a very sick 2 year old at home and now I can't seem to find that post.

Can you please PM me so we can get in touch?

Sorry again, but this grumpy baby is taking everything out of me. :rotfl:

Stephanie-hope she feels better soon! PM me if you need anything, run to the grocery store, whatever...since we're so close I really wouldn't mind! Pixie dust your way!!! :wizard:

Today after church we went to the $300 store, which was jam packed with people. DH looked at me asking...do you do this often, are there this many people here when you normally come?!? I explained, no and that's why I go during the week. Anyway, they had this homedics massager pad that you put on a chair. He sat in it, then I sat in it and that was it....we bought the darn thing. He usually is not the spender but he figured for $100 and how good it felt, he was in! And, every now and again my back pain flares up (my injury from our car accident) so this will be great. I felt like a million bucks after I got out of that chair. In fact....I'm off for a massage! :rotfl:

I wonder if  Bobbi would like to travel around the country visiting the DIS Thread members before the Panama Canal Cruise.

Each host or hostess could take a few photos of him exploring sites of interest in each locale before arranging transportation for him to another host or hostess.

The photos could be added to a TRIP REPORT thread (except that I have no idea how to post pictures so someone would have to help me with that part.)

I would be glad to give him a tour of Indianapolis if he would like to visit.
Jan :earsgirl:

Hey, that sounds like an idea!

I know Bobby likes to travel . . .

PM me your address - Bobby might like going to the home of the Superbowl champs instead of living here in Brown's town until the cruise . . .

May have to wait until after July 4 though - we are taking him to the Outer Banks with us.

Oh yeah, Bobby is invited to my neck of the woods in California too. He would love to see ebay (yes, I'd take him there for a picture, since we all love it so much) and, hmmm, intel, and perhaps McDonalds, okay that's not interesting is it? Just kidding. I would really like to have him for a visit the kids would like taking him out for some pictures and it would give the kids in the group a good way to bond thru the traveling banana show...John are you up for sending him out?

Bobby will be the new Rick Steves. As soon as we get back from the beach, Bobby begins his travels.

You must have a lot of frequent flyer miles....

Have a great time at the lake with your sister. Patiently waiting for the graduation saga and pics.
:wizard: princess: :wizard:

DH and I lived on airplanes for years and still have tons of Frequent Flier miles which we use for upgrades. SWA is so cheap for us $118 RT to Reno that we could not drive our cars for the same amount of money!!

Hope to get to graduation by Tuesday!!

Noel

I totally forgot we flew them to MCO last year for our WDW/DCL trip. And the Denver airport is pretty nice - not too big that you have to run for 20 minutes to get to the next gate.

How is the world do you get your DH to talk to you about packing? It will be the night before the cruise and my DH will still not have packed nor given one thoughts as to what he will bring. It drives me CRAZY!! I'm such a planner and he is a fly by the seat of his pants type of traveler. It is amazing we don't drive each other insane in the period of time before a trip! Me endlessly talking about the trip and he just nodding his head or shaking it and hoping that he is responding appropriately since he isn't listening to a word I'm saying! I'm not complaining...if we both were OCD we'd probably would go insane!
Lisa

I get DH to pack by figuring out what he should wear and putting it in a specific place in his closet.

If I left it to him to pack, he would never bring enough clothes. He puts his stuff on the bed, I then double check what he has put out and add the extras. If we are going for more than one week, I make sure he has enough clothes for at least one week as we can always wash or send out clothes to be cleaned.

We have been traveling for so many years, I think we have it down to a science.

It is easier for me to add than to leave him to his own devices!!

You could wrap up those last 10 books and then you would not have to post them on e-bay:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
 ....well.....Bobbi thought it was a good idea......

Jan :earsgirl:
:rotfl: :lmao: Great idea! But I somehow doubt her parents would appreciate me giving their 8 yr old daughter murder mysteries or Stephen King horror stories! :rotfl2:

Is that the Homedics Shiatsu massager? If so, I've had that for 2 years and still use it all the time! That year, every time I went to the mall for Christmas shopping, I'd be sure to sit in one they had on display in front of a GNC (or some other health supplement store). I wanted one so badly, but couldn't afford to spend $100 on myself, so I dropped enough hints to my mom and she rushed out and got it for me for Christmas. :thumbsup2 Many people have borrowed it too. It's very well used! I love it!

Back from our FIVE HOUR BRUNCH! Had some great food, good champagne and lots and lots of conversation!

Hi Everyone--
I'm sitting in the airport in Honolulu, first time online in a week. I've been wondering what's been going on on our thread--I think I'm about 100 pages behind at this point but sooner or later I'll get caught up!

My flight has been delayed so I'll have to spend the night in LA tonight and fly home to AZ tomorrow.

My trip was great! I love Hawaii and can't wait to go back. I took underwater pix for the first time and they turned out pretty good; I'll post some in a few days. The NCL ship itself was OK, actually it was fine, but the food in the dining rooms was horrible! And the service was slow, slow, slow. Ick! The buffets were OK, they were like any cafeteria food so it did the job of keeping the tummy full but it was NOT like Disney. We didn't try any of the "extra cost" restaurants so I can't comment there. The staff of the ship were all very friendly (more than I was expecting). A major part of the ship had no AC the whole cruise--fortunately not our section! There were a LOT of very angry people as you can imagine. And as far as I know, it wasn't fixed when we disembarked today so some people are in for a very unplesant surprise when they board today!

All in all I had a great time--I'll post more later but just wanted to say "hi" and I've missed everyone.

Aloha!

Welcome home (almost) Missy! Glad you had a great trip and can't wait to see the pictures.

That would be TiggersPal....unless she was assigned to one of the existing groups....I kind of lost track.

Who was organizing the Hummerzines list from MCO/Haytt? Couldn't find that on Ship of Thieves or our protected site....off to see if it's on page one here......

Whew, I can´t believe we are at more than 18000 posts, definetly we have some cruisers with a lot of time in their hands :rotfl2:

I have lost all hope of catching up, so I won´t mess the board this time with replies to old posts :rotfl:

Hope everyone had a great Memorial weekend (that is not a holiday here) and enjoyed their long weekend.

DD and I were at WDW last month with friends and had the best time.

We are going back from september 27th until october 6th. Anyone planning to attend MNSSHP on october 4th?

hey julie,

good to see you post. we talked about wondering how you were a few 100 or 1000 posts ago :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I thought of you on May 10th during the Mothers Day celebration for us moms at school.

We had a nice day today. Had our Girl Scout Court of Awards. The girls planned and excuted the whole thing themselves. It was at a local park...The Rosegarden, a park full of roses of course. nice day.

My boys are coming home from a race, I hear Wilson go 5th or 6th today I think out of 10 or 11). Paul says he is happy.

School is on the last leg for us, one full week, then one week of play half days.

Not much more going on here.

Awaiting the banana....

Bobby will be the new Rick Steves. As soon as we get back from the beach, Bobby begins his travels.

I sent you a PM with my address.

Those of us who are going to host/hostess Bobby will need to know his food preferences and what sort of sleep, exercise and meal schedule he prefers. We would not want to upset his delicate sensibilities.

Maybe the trip to the Outer Banks can be the beginning of his travels!! And the Trip Report on the DIS can begin with photos from that trip.

Looking forward to having him as our guest,
Jan and Tom

Yes, I think that's the same one...it has shiatsu (feel like I'm saying a bad word :lmao: ) and a rolling massage. It is so great. The whole family is enjoying. I said to DH....like the kids have any stress that they a massage?! The seat also vibrates if you want it to...which is, well, interesting. My favorite is the shiatsu version.

Would Bobby like to come visit Michigan? I'm sure it's not much different than his Ohio home, but Tyler and I would love to have him visit us! I think Bobby would like playing on Tyler's playset in the back yard. :goodvibes

Sounds like a step up from my model. Mine doesn't have the vibrating seat option (now I feel like I'm saying something dirty :rotfl: ), just the shiatsu up and down the back. Very nice!
