My Dear Wife Venetia is in need of a little sprinklin' and huggin', if there is any to spare what with all our fellow Disers needin' so much lately. She( Tink1963) lost her Mom unexpectedly this morning , and it would greatly brighten her next few days. Many, many , many thanks to those of you who sprinkle or sgueeze.

I have offically switched our reservation to DU. I was really nervous about doing this b/c I like complete control but now I feel alot better. I have never used a TA before so if this goes well I will book with them again.

Shawn got the call today for a position he has been waiting three years for, an offer to transfer to Honolulu. This is a huge opportunity for him. He was asked over a year ago if he wanted it and when it was time to go, just let the folks in Seattle know. Well, the date is set for April 2008. We would have to move in February. This would also mean there is no possible way to keep our reservation for this cruise. He has a few weeks to let them know. This is going to be a very tough decision (not because of the cruise!).

He was asked over a year ago if he wanted it and when it was time to go, just let the folks in Seattle know. Well, the date is set for April 2008. We would have to move in February. This would also mean there is no possible way to keep our reservation for this cruise. He has a few weeks to let them know. This is going to be a very tough decision (not because of the cruise!).

OH MY GOSH! Congrats to Shawn! I know you wouldn't want to miss out on this cruise, but there will be other cruises. If he's been waiting for this for 3 years, it sounds like nothing but good news! How wonderful to have the opportunity to live somewhere as beautiful as Honolulu....just like paradise!

I don't know about TA to TA but you could send an e-mail to webmaster@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com and see what they say. That is how I knew what to do. They sent a link to a form and I filled it out it was very easy.

I used DU to make this reservation....after what they have done for us....I will always use them from now on. Can I book on the boat and transfer it to them for credit? Does anybody know?

We booked on the Christmas cruise 2006, for the European crossing then switched to this cruise, the Western Panama Canal. We just used Disney and got the onboard booking discount and onboard credit.

After hearing all the people on this board talk about DU and how they upped the onboard credit I decided to check with them about transferring our reservation over. They said that yes, we keep the same price, the same onboard credit that disney gave us PLUS their credit ($400 in our case). We are soooo pleased with how that has worked out!!! Yippee. We will use DU in the future.

We've used All Seas Travel before and were not happy with them. We used them twice and had numerous problems so we booked our next 4 cruises with Disney and left it at that. We figured all travel agencies were a waste since we had such a bad taste from All Seas. Now don't flame me and tell me how great they are because I'm sure they must be making some people happy since they have a lot of business but 2 times being abused was enough for us.

This time we switched over to DU and are looking forward to future cruises with their travel agency. We can't believe they did it but they did!! They won some new customers!

DH works for ABC News, and they did a special showing. This is the first "special event" we've been to by Disney, and it was really great. I posted a short review on the Community Board.
