We're staying at Peacock Suites (it's about 1 mile from the park), as I had Shell Vacations time share points to use up that were leftover from last year.

I've only stayed at the Anaheim Hilton, Marriot Suites and CandyCane Inn off property.

My guess is we'll go back to the hotel for a mid-afternoon rest on Sunday and then head over to the GC. You can valet park there if you are eating at the restaurant by the way (for like 3 hours or something). I don't know about the other girls, but I'd like to show up around 4PM for some visiting on the patio!

Tonight we had dance, then I had to go to a PTO meeting - all this directly after work - all while Amy golfed in her summer golf league.

What's wrong with this picture?

BTW - I have NEVER golfed in my life.

I believe that the Fairfield Inn is closer--across from the shuttle entrance, behind the McDonalds. Unfortunately we're driving home that night after the dinner. My all-time favorite place to stay when I can't stay at a Disney resort is the Candy Cane Inn. It's within walking distance too, but they also have their own shuttle.

Tomorrow night is PTO spaghetti dinner, talent show, and auction.

After the start of that, I have to leave because I am speaking at the dedication of our baseball field, to be named after our baseball coach of 34 years.

Honestly, I just don't know how you can do it all! You're SuperDad! And you're able to be online most every night!

I think my "downfall" is that I need 8 hours of sleep at night--always have. As my kids get older, I try to get less sleep so I can do more, but after a day or two, I'm crabby and useless during the day, so it's not worth it.

It's cute, reasonably priced, and gets great reviews on TripAdvisor. I always recommend it to friends!

I have learned to get by with about six hours of sleep a night. Before I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, I could not get enough sleep . . . I would fall asleep when I got home from work. Now with my cpap machine I get good sleep for at least 6 hours every night, and that seems to be enough - when I can get 7 it is a bonus.

I think I will go to bed soon to get that 7 tonight.

As far as being online, once Sophia gets to bed this is a big part of my entertainment. I just enjoy connecting and communicating. I just turn on the game and sit here with my laptop.

This week has been a busy one though.

Saturday we have Alex's college graduation too, and then Sunday I have to go and deal with a personnel problem at one of our stores in the evening.

Maybe I should find out how much it is if you go over your 3 hours....

Well, I have airline tickets to our MED cruise!!!

Air France (Dulles/Paris/Barcelona) $1079 per ticket!! The CAT 12 rates are awesome....anyone who was thinking about doing this vacation, it has now almost become affordable!!

Sleep apnea is definitely bad! Both my kids had it--but the tonsils and adenoids were to blame there. I couldn't believe that exactly 10 days after surgery they both slept through the night! I did, too, until the puppy came....though she's a good sleeper now, thankfully.

Speaking of Colleges, I thought you guys would like to read the news of VA Tech today. I really wondered what was going to happen....since the shootings happened 2 weeks before final committment day...(May 1st)

Despite Shootings, Virginia Tech Beats Enrollment Goal

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) - Virginia Tech says it will have a freshman class of more than 5,200 this fall.

That's up slightly from last year and exceeds the university's target of five thousand.

The school has received deposits from 5,215 freshmen, drawn from its largest ever applicant pool of 19,579. No one was pulled from the waiting list.

Officials say seven students said they were declining Tech's offer of admission after a student shot and killed 32 people on campus and then took his own life.

The slayings by senior Seung-Hui Cho in a dormitory and classroom building came two weeks before the May 1st enrollment deadline.

I am debating if I should stay over on Monday and Tuesday but curious if anyone else will be still there?

We are going to be at the parks all day. Hopefully get there by opening of DL.

We were going to go to Buck's before Open House at Woodside Elementary! It is such a small world. I got home too late from work so getting a quick bite before heading to the school. I love their artichoke appetizer!

We too have to drive back to San Diego - both of us have to be at work 7:30am on Monday - so you won't be the only one hitting the road after dinner.

. . . I was wondering if we should have a 'rallying point' for Sunday, prior to 5PM, so we can do all our hugging and greeting before actually meeting at the restaurant (or at least some of us). There is the 5th floor 'patio' overlooking the swimming pool at the Grand Californian that might be a good spot for that (we wouldn't be disrupting too many people meeting there). Wadda ya think?
