Two more years of school is very doable....you're on the downside of the hill....and it'll be so worth it!

DH said you and his son can become cruising buddies...so I PM'd you his email address. If you want him to have yours, PM me back.
Will do.....as soon as I get caught up on reading a billion pages of posts here! :goodvibes

Don't forget the norflex for the headaches...it works great even for migraines and it's non-narcotic...no addictions.

it's tough to function when sinus/headaches get in the way...you need drugs right away!

I'll have to try Norflex too.....I have terrible migraines, used to be once a week, but take drugs daily to prevent them, so it's usually only about once or twice a month I get one now. VERY nice! :thumbsup2

Sounds like someone is looking after you....

Without a doubt! :goodvibes

Wow, I have been a bit chatty tonight:scared1: :lmao: Yup, DH is gone on business and I get to DIS without the "are you REALLY on the boards again?!" look:lmao:
But, if I have any hope of making it to the gym tomorrow at 8 and then shopping all day:cool1: I had better head to bed.

Good night all
:scared1: Shopping all day would be my biggest nightmare! I've always hated shopping, so my mom used to trick me to get me to go with her. :rotfl:

bedtime for me too. I was out tonight at a memorial service for a dear friend's father. Hard to believe just a bit over a year ago she was comforting me about my dad's passing and now it was my turn to offer comfort.

Nan
:sad1: :grouphug:

Well, speaking of taxes . . . . . .

This was the first full year of someone's private practice. It is going to be SCARY!! We get word today how bad the damage is.

Please keep shopping a certain retailer - looks like we are going to have to sale off some of our stock to pay the government!

My cable at home is out until Monday, so I brought my laptop up to school to get caught up here! Is that a sign of a serious addiction? :rotfl2: Everybody is studying for final exams, so I'm hearing all sorts of panicky discussions, everybody trying to make sure they have everything down right in memory. I'm so glad I had a break from that for one semester! But glad to be getting back to it soon because my brain is starting to turn to mush with nothing engaging it.

Don't be alarmed if you don't see me here until Monday. Everybody enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll be spending Monday evening getting caught up on all your adventures after Tyler goes to bed. Unless I have nothing better to do at work Monday, but I suspect I'll have a busy day there because one secretary is on vacation until Tuesday and her attorney are workaholics over the weekends usually. Might try to catch up a little with you all before my work day starts Monday morning. :thumbsup2

Bye for a couple days!

Thanks Holly. It was actually a nice service. I was so busy during the reception (restocking and cleaning up) that I was ok. I think that is the key, stay busy.

So...totally raining her today. Which is actually nice.

We (all four of us) are plopped on the couch watching

"Nacho Libre"

Sometimes stupid humor is just what is ordered for a family rainy day in.

We have found our new catch phrase...

"It sucks to me right now"

(you must say this with a cheezy spanish accent, like Molly...I'm sure next year we'll still have it going.

1st night on the repo cruise
Nan : Kids you are having dinner with all of us
Wilson : It sucks to be right now
Molly : yezs it does :lmao:
Paul: tell me about it....

After this movie we are moving to Pink Panther or Indiana Jones....marathon of course....:happytv:

 Well, here's hoping it's not as bad as you think it will be. pixiedust:

Me too, Holly. I'm not much of a shopper. DH loves to shop. IF he takes me to dinner, then I will let him shop for hours in the mall. Now he probably does not frequent the same stores a most of the ladies here. Would never catch him in Nordstroms, but he will spend hours in the book store, DAYS in the camera store (or at least it seems like days to me), and the Sears tool section makes him drool. :sad2: He just wants one of each to store in the garage. :lmao:

well....did a few more loads...added some acid to the pool and cleaned out the various leaf catchers....I think we are headed in there in a bit. It is a gorgoues 90 degree day. The girls have managed to drive me nuts all day, not help do anything and really frustrate me beyond belief. I seem to have such a short fuse these days.

Quiet tonight. Well I suppose it is Saturday, and also still over a year to go.

It's been a beautiful day here, just lovely.

Bath now and then bed. See you tomorrow. Have a good evening.

I don't know really Karen.:confused3 Our room is getting lighter in the mornings now and when I wake up I have so much on my mind - all these holidays you know!!!

I can think of worse things to wake up to worry about!!!:woohoo:

Will these be some of your favourite wines Karen? It will be great to try some.

Absolutely!! I only do tastings with wines that I have tried and that I like!!;)

Just back from a lovely walk to town. Had a great cappuccino sitting outside in the sun and people watching. doesn't the sun bring out some 'unusual' clothing???!!!

I know what you mean!! Thursday was sunny, but still a bit chilly, in the low 60's and windy! Still, I saw so many people dressed like it was 80 degrees or more!! Strapless tops and shorts! :confused3 Not me!! Too much blinding flesh!

Too nice to paint so may be gardening. Going out for tea to our son and daughter in law's as they are back from their week's trip to the Lake District and want to catch up on the work front. There are only 3 work days till we go away and Andrew is in charge!

Good morning to you as you wake up over there.:yay:

Hope you had a lovely time! We are off to a bowling pot luck for the Junior league that DD was in. Should be fun, then back home for another movie night!!popcorn::

Karen

Love that album - well, one side of it anyway.

Caught up. Time to take the dog to her weekly dog wash (a place where you pay $10 and wash the dog yourself and they clean up after you).

The new "in" thing in California is "Mobile Pet Grooming". They come to your home and wash and groom your pet in a mobile van!

We have a cat, so she does her own grooming!;)

Good night, Marilyn, catch you again in the early morning!:cloud9:

It is rainy and a bit chilly here. I am also doing laundry :laundy: and I am supposed to be going through paperwork, but took a break to DIS!:rolleyes1

Back to busy work!:surfweb:

Karen

Hi Deb,
Yes, I'm just catching up--let's see, 14 pages X 3 min.....but I'm almost there! I had a good time at the aquarium today. The weather is beautiful! We went to see The Hoax tonight (Richard Gere). Very interesting movie--Clifford Irving, what an amazing liar he was (probably still is?). More good times await tomorrow.
Night all!:goodvibes

John and I want to spend one day at the aquarium after we get off this cruise. We'll do a week in LA then fly home. We'll take one day and go to San Diego. How long did you spend at the aquarium? Is it in Poway? We have cruise friends that moved from Poway to Tucson. I can't wait to see the area.

Hope the weather continues to be nice for you, enjoy your trip.
:flower3:

Holly, where are you going for a couple of days? Anyplace interesting? It sounds so mysterious...:cool2:

Lisa, I think I missed that your DH was an attorney...Paul, my DH also studied at Oxford Law (& undergrad too) when were you guys there? I think Paul was there sometime around '90. I'll ask him for sure. What kind of law does your DH practice?

Diamonds...a girls best friend...:cloud9:

We were in Oxford I think in '98. Here is his law firm's website - www.qwcooper.com . He has some clients here in CA, Chicago, and I think one back East. He doesn't like me sharing his website yet b/c he hasn't worked on it, but it explains best his type of law.

So funny your DH was at Oxford too! Did you go with him? I had the time of my life. I worked double shifts as a nurse for about a year to take the 6 months off. It was so wonderful. Lisa

bedtime for me too. I was out tonight at a memorial service for a dear friend's father. Hard to believe just a bit over a year ago she was comforting me about my dad's passing and now it was my turn to offer comfort.

Nan

That must be tough. I know sometimes going through another person's loss can bring up your own as well. My thoughts are with you.

That sounds a great trip. You certainly visited loads of great places and probably saw many away from the normal tourist spots too.

Stoke-on-Trent was my favorite day trip...visiting all the pottery factories. It was just great! Lisa

sun came out...we're still watching movies. We have ended up on Flyboys, had to watch it as it's due tomorrow.

we're having chili for dinner tonight, think I might need a merlot to go along with that, karen any suggestions?

DH has also been the :laundy: king today. I think it's been at least 4 loads so far. Boy I married the right guy. :cloud9:
