I am posting from home...I went in to work still feeling bad when I get a call from the childcare....Samantha has a fever, so I pick her up and get her into the dr's....seems she has a hole in her eardrum! They asked if we had flown or anything and really all she has done (pressure wise) is jumping in the pool, but the dr said that could cause the rupture but he couldn't understand why she hadn't come out screaming or talking of pain. I feel horrible for her, I think she is also coming down with a cold, which is what I think I have.....

so we go pick up $112 worth of rx's and she is now half asleep on the couch. I left Haley at school, they were doing water play in swim suits - and I thought maybe Samantha would like the peace and quiet for the afternoon. She can't get her ear wet until the hole starts to heal! That is going to be a nightmare!

Hope Mandy and Samantha are both feeling better soon.

well, Samantha has slept on and off since noon and is still quite lethargic on the couch - I think the "cold" symptoms are starting in. John just switched cars with me to go pick up Haley. I picked up stuff for spagetti for dinner so he can whip it up pretty easily. It looks like RAIN!! I am hoping so!

As I sat here this afternoon I remembered I had a meeting at 2, so I had to call her and explain the situation and I also was supposed to sit in on a group interview! I don't know what is wrong with my memory lately!

Tell Samantha we hope she gets better soon!

As to the memory, from my experience, it is age.

Hi everyone!

It has been a whirlwind 2 weeks as we have gotten the last minute finishes done and had our Grand Opening last week of our new Wine Shop, WineMiles and our Wine Bar, Swirl.

We still have tons of finish work to do, but here are some beginning shots.

Thanks so much for all of the kind words and support from our wonderful DIS friends!!

This is the Retail part of the shop, as of Friday. We changed it all yesterday and added 10 more racks, so we turned all of the racks a different way!

Congratulations Karen Sorry I missed this post...I always seem to be trying to catch up So glad the opening went well, the shop looks great!

Ok, so we just got off the Trans Atlantic Cruise and we are hooked! Does anyone know any travel agents that rooms available for this cruise! There was a room available yesterday through Disney and I did not act fast enough . We want to be on this cruise sooooo bad!

I saw another thread that Disney was pulling the Flying Dutchman from Castaway Cay. I had been chatting with my Disney source, so I asked her to check on it. Apparently, the movie 'prop' isn't holding up to the elements. There's a plan to build a 'weather-proof' replica for Castaway Cay, but the Flying Dutchman might not be at Castaway Cay when we get there in May 2008.

Well, I worked late and decided to check the DIS before heading home...now it's 7PM and I won't be home till 7:30 and my tummy is grumbling...and that could be trouble....'cause I don't want to go home and cook....and there are so many temptations along the way.....but the steak in the fridge should be cooked tonight...oh no, such a delima...I'd better get outta here.......

.....Luggage question...V, my best advice is to go for smaller ones. I love our larger suitcases, but we can't pack them without going way over the 50# limit, so we switched to 4 carry on size rolling suitcases....1 for each one of us. Luckily, the girls usually have some extra room in theirs so Scott and I get 1 1/2 and they each get 1/2. So far it has worked, but I am not so sure where they will fit in a cabin.

Under the bed. If they won't slide under easily, lift the frame a bit and under they go.
