Those are cool, though I'm not sure about the thongs!!!:lmao:

I didn't even scroll down that far until you said this! Those little bear's are cute for the kids too!

Geez, I'm having Med blues... I wish we could go on the MED!!!! I don't care much about the transAtlantic one (did you see the photos of the waves in the pool???) :rolleyes1  But I would love to see France, Spain and Italy from the Magic....:sad2: :sad1: :sad1:

Can you explain the fish extender "teams"? Is that going to be a gift exchange thingy like on our double dip?

Also, can you tell me who you ordered yours from? I want to order one for us to decorate... (me and DH).
Thanks sister.

I want to see pics of Mr. Peggy decorating a fish extender! If it turns out well, do you think he'd decorate ours?

Carolyn

LOL! This reminds me of one of Gilda Radner's characters on Saturday Night Live -- hard-of-hearing little old lady Emily Latella.

Emily Latella would give a guest editorial on "Weekend Update", where she would complain about a news item she clearly misunderstood. Example: "What's all this fuss about violins on television? For heaven's sake, if anything there ought to be more violins on television!"

Chevy Chase, anchor of the news, would let her rant a bit and then gently correct her, e.g., "That's violence on television, not violins". Emily would turn to the camera, smile, and say "Never mind!"

In other episodes, she complained about "Busting" School Children, "Canker" Research, "Celery" Caps, Endangered "Feces", the "Eagle" Rights Amendment, Making Puerto Rico a "Steak", and Presidential "Erections."

Anyone remember these classic skits?

Woody

Absolutely....I remember having a Saturday Night Live party every week with all my friends. We would all watch together and laugh and mimic them. Those were the best Sat. Night Lives ever. Do you remember.....cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger, coke, coke, coke, no pepsi, coke. I still laugh at them.....how about....Oh No, Mr. Bill!!!!!!!
:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Attention FISH EXTENDER TEAMS. Here's a cool web-site for printed materials. The Med repo folks came up with their own design and people were able to buy any style shirt, cap, mug, teaddy bear they wanted with their logo on it.....pretty cool, eh?

http://www.cafepress.com/cp/customize/

I'll get the link so you can see what they had.

Here it is: http://www.cafepress.com/may2007ebrepo

I don't know if we'll be able to use our logo since it has Mickey on it though.

Jackie-I did see that, very cool. It would be nice if we could do something like that (without using Disney stuff so that we avoid copyright issues).

PJ, you're our resident graphic extraordonaire....what do you think?

I love this STORY!!!! I can remember my first horsey encounters (I had non-horse parents). Horses can be a great out-let for a young girl (an old one too!) and they can teach her so many things about herself - as she grows older. Kept me from a lot of high school "trouble" as well!

I grew up in NW Indiana, and I can tell you having horses gave me a perspective on life that I am blessed to have. It taught me about money (those of us who didn't have any) could still beat the pants off the kids who did - through hard work and dedication. (good lessons). Also about showmanship, (that you don't always win - and to be a good sport) and about fairness (not all judges are fair and not every competition is).

Although its expensive - it doesn't have to be. I worked very hard babysitting, and mowing lawns at 12 to help pay for my horse. (Another good lesson).

At 48 I still get the joy from seeing others faces light up on their first ride, or the first time they and the horse communicate and have synergy! Tell your lovely DD - that if you guys ever come out West, She has an open invitation to ride in the desert!

When I read your post to my family, they said DON'T TELL HER! She would be bugging us for a trip out West! We called the stable today, and left a message, and ALL DAY LONG she has been asking if the horse lady called back.

I believe everything you said is true, and I hope this is the beginning of a journey for her that is as good an experience as yours was. I hope she learns some responsibility from it too!

Hi Grumpy John! :) My John, that is Little John, only posted a couple of times as he couldn't stop the notification emails of everyone's posts so got fed up!!! :confused3
