Hi everyone,
I'm just checking in to say that I'm still around, but have been very busy cleaning up from one trip and getting ready for another. I'm in the airport right now, waiting for something to open so I can get COFFEE!

I had to get up at 3 a.m. this morning--for a nightowl like me, that's inhumane! 3 a.m. is more like a bedtime than and wake-up time!

I'm going to be cruising on the Pride of Aloha for a week and diving. It won't be Disney, but I'm looking forward to seeing Hawaii as I've only been there once, over 20 years ago and then just for 2 days.

I'm already so far behind on our thread and will probably get ever further behind while I'm gone, but sooner or later I'll catch up. 'Till then, take care everyone!

Have a great trip to Hawaii. I was there for a week about 20 years ago (high school marching band trip). Would love to get back some day and cruise to Hawaii sounds great.

We have ours. I think UK folk have been more used to having passports of course as we go out of our country much more.

I am the chief passport keeper on holiday and I worry endlessly about them. When we need them on a journey I get John's straight back from him and into my handbag(purse) because he pops his into his top pocket of his shirt! Phew

This is an incredible story.....a couple who missed the first 11 day cruise....

What a great story! I'm glad everything worked out for them. They're very lucky.

I haven't done my passport yet and want to get them for our November cruise just in case of emergency, but Tyler's dad is procrastinating on signing his permission form. Plus I keep forgetting to find out if I need to show Tyler's birth certificate to the school at some point before he starts kindergarten, so I need to get moving and show it to whoever I need to at school before sending it in with his passport application (if his dad will ever sign the darn form!).

well DH is on his way home...it's been a long morning, but I am working on my August ADR's and trying to find out if I can order a Pirates cake for DH's bday.

What a sad little guy! He looks just like how I feel when the cruise ends. Of course, we all feel that way, don't we?

I know I cried when I left the ship... not only was is one of the best vacations/Holidays - but I was with my sis!

Today I'm going with my next door neighbor up to the outlet mall to visit the Disney Character traveling trunk show. Her granddaughter is turning two and is wild about Disney (grandma started her off right in that department!), so she's looking for gifts. Last week at the Character outlet in Aneheim I bought a red Disneyland sweat shirt to take to WDW in December. They also had red Santa hats with Minnie Mouse ears and bow, but only in child sizes. I would have grabbed some if they'd had adult sizes for our group doing MVMCP...that would have been a cute gift for the girls.

OMG - that was weird, I just ran across this post 11:35 a.m. called your house - in case you were back and while I was leaving you a message YOU called from the outlet! Thanks for picking up the Bath & Body works soaps for me - tell Arlene HELLO for me, opps you won't get this till you get back - have fun shopping!

It was great. We were probably laughing because LiserAnn's DH is a riot. Everyone will love him. They both are great and I just wanted to kiss her adorable boys. Actually every one's kids are so cute. I was laughing on the way there because my DH kept asking me what are we doing and who are these people. I said I don't know who they are we will find out together. He ended up talking more than me.

I think there were a few non DISing spouses who were saying what are we doing and who are these people! Happens all the time until they meet the DIS folks and then they join the cult too!

Ok, I realize I am here all by myself....bring in Karen's song here....but I am so sad looking at my sig line Before it was Ok, since I had this past trip planned and looking forward to, but now nothing....I think I need to come up with a trip excuse between now and next May. I am thinking about the first week in December since I love that time at WDW. The problem is, convincing DH.....any suggestions?!

Tell him there is a DIS meet! Several of us will be there the first week in Dec. What are we doing and who are these people?

Well there is the chance of a minimeet on 6th/7th Dec!!! We are there from 25th November and going on Wonder 4 nighter on 2nd Dec then back for 4 nights to the 10th. Some others from on here are 6th for the weekend for a meet of their old cruise friends so we are hoping for a minimeet!

Sophia too Karin. No way she could sit through even #1. She takes things too literally, and would think it is all real. She won't even go on the ride with me! I had to ride it by myself last time at WDW!

My description of it as Small World with Pirates did not even help!

Aaron rode it with us when he was quite small and could not say no, but he will not get on it now! Although he sees alot of scary movies.

Soon be off to bed here. Been a quiet day here. We did go out to an aquarium shop and ordered a fish tank for John's birthday. We are going to have discus fish!

Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow and we can get out for a walk.

I was skimming thru and reading about your flight dilemma and had a laugh remembering that getting to York was the longest day of my life! Flight to LAX, flight to Heathrow, flight to Manchester, train to York, cab to hotel at base of Minster (talk about some BELLS!) collapsed on floor. We loved Yorkshire and missed it when we finally got to London.

We did Scotland the same trip and felt the same way! Beautiful place, friendly people. We liked Pitlochry.
