Can't wait to hear the "light in the refrigerator" story!! I remember when I spent the summer away from DH caring for my dad, DH lost 25 pounds!! If I am not there to cook, he forgets to eat!!

Now that's a diet I wish I could do!!! I remember way long ago in my youth when I was so busy and active, I had the same problem. I would just forget to eat....but that was in my 20's and my slower, aging metabolism hadn't kicked in yet....and my sedintary lifestyle for that matter....those were the days....

Question, I need a new TA, can anyone recommend a good one? My TA had canceled the wrong ressi, when I went to check on my ressi May 10th cruise It was gone. I almost lost my ressi for this cruise, but because Of my quick action and speaking with DCL manager, I was able to salvage my ressi.

Lisa, I've just seen these somewhere recently. Are we reading the same magazine?? AAA Westways magazine, perhaps??! They are SO cute!

I've been spending my afternoon looking at excursions for our port days and watching Panama Canal videos on YouTube! When does Disney usually decide which excursions they'll offer?? There are some good ones with reputable companies that I can book myself, but the reviews aren't recent.

Well, off to do a quick shower (ran like crazy at work, sweating my you know what off), then class at 6. Then out for Mexican again afterwards. Bad habit....need to stop that! I'm just so addicted to the chips & salsa! Mmmmmmm.......basket of warm tortilla chips calling my name!

We ate at Don Pablo's tonight. Three baskets of chips! Lots of salsa, and queso blanco!

Hello, I have been around keeping up with the reading, but not posting much. I have been very busy trying to reorganize our schools PTA. Basically we have not had a PTA group since 1996, and It has been a challenge. It was only been two lady managing 2 fundraiser a year and its money. I felt it was time for a change and to bring back family activies within our school that have been lacking. We started a move night and it as be very sucessful. We are starting to see more parent involvement . I am defiantly going to need this cruise next year.

We got a cool mailing from DVC today on AKV.

Nice brochure, and a DVD (haven't watched it yet).

This resort is going to be HUGE with the DVC addition.

Almost has me thinking add on ???????

NOPE.

Amy has not seen Pirates 1 OR Pirates 2. Amy is not a movie person. She only likes comedies if any movies at all. We went to dinner for Mexican after Sophia's dance class. Came home and Sophia and I shot hoops.

I know, not very exciting or romantic anniversary . . .

Alex, however, DID go to see Pirates. He went with a group of 12 friends. Of course he did not invite his dear old dad who DOES like movies. Even though I took him to Star Wars openings when he was young.

He just walked in the door - he said good until the ending.

He did not spoil it for me, but he said it in effect did NOT end - left open apparently for more movies.

We received the mailing from DVC today too. It does have us thinking about maybe adding another 100 points. With a possible move to Florida in the next few years - it may be a good idea.

We also got our "Cruise Travel Kit" from Disney today too for our upcoming cruise in October. It was a Disney mail day!

The kit is actually pretty nice. Would have been helpful for our first cruise!

NEWS: I think I mentioned that my daughter has been trying out for a club soccer team the last few months. They just asked her to join them and play in a tournament next weekend. The only bad thing is it is in Victorville, CA. For those of you that don't know where that it is, not your vacation place. Oh well she will be evaluated in this game and then we will know if she made it or not. I don't care (I mean I do but it's not my life) but it means so much to her so I hope it all works out. Give special pixie dust prayers to her tonight.

Today I took Mrs. Woody to El Cholo for a scrumptous lunch. elcholo.com The L.A. location is a landmark, dating back to 1923 when a combination plate costs 65 cents. (They now cost $10.25)

Afterward, we went to the Getty Center getty.edu and enjoyed various gallery tours before going to a lecture by Peter Singer, author of Animal Liberation. lecture

Good morning.

Marilyn, just tell John that after he meets everyone on this cruise and sees what a great time he's having, he won't want to go right home. There's a couple of us on here that are doing DL after cruise, me and John included. Tell him we're sure that he'll want to extend his vaca a little bit to continue having fun with all his new friends. Hopefully it'll work!

That's what I'm hoping for Deb!!! It is going to be sooooooo busy though isn't it?

I'm so jealous....we're going to miss another minimeet. John and I will be there with the family after our cruise on halloween. We're meeting UKangel in downtown disney for a mini-mini meet. But there's no way we can get back there again one month later at the beginning of Dec. So we're going to miss this one too.....so sad.....

It's a shame Deb, but these Disney vacations are so expensive. At least you get to see Mandy. Perhaps there will be a few others in our group there at that time.
