We only rode splash one time in March, and don't you know, we got that spray drenching us on the only time? That has NEVER happened to me on Splash before, so we were shocked - and it was COLD!

I have never had that happen to me either. The first time...huge shock (my shirt and shorts were soaked I had to move the park tickets mid ride to not ruin them). The second time I thought only once....the third time I figured we were going to get wet!

In a nutshell, she has had to take an English minor as there was not enough time for the appeals process to take place and her to walk at the end of May.

Noel...is there any way to appeal once the walks? Or is it a done deal? That is so frustrating but at least she is still getting to walk.

oh I just checked the DCL site...now it shows only cat 4...and for just two adults it's over $9k!!!

I think they look fine. If you're not happy, you may want to play with the resolution on photobucket. You can also use the DIS photo sharing area to upload photos, but photobucket is generally easier to use. With the DIS, you must resize before you upload or it will not accept them (if the file is too large).

Hey from the great Magic Kingdom!!!

Just a quick check in to say hi. Wow....25 pages so far...there is no way I am catching up with those. So, I hope everything is great with everyone.

So far the trip has been great. I am hoping to download and share some pics later.

The crowds have been great. First night at the parks we got to MK at 4pm and left at 1130 (EMH) and were able to do every ride in the park except for Pooh and Dumbo! We even did some 2-3 times. It was great. The next day when we hit MGM we basically did the same thing...3x in a row on ToT (ok, not my girls....they decided against it this time much to mom's sadness). We were able to fill up a whole log on splash mountain and got a great picture after our 3rd try.

The new monster's Inc attraction was pretty good. That new technology amazes me still when they interact with the audience.

Hope everyone is doing great.

Today is our relax/pool day. I think we are heading to Saratoga Springs pool for a bit and then back to OKW's pool. Gotta hit as many water slides as possible. Then, off to Chef Mickey's for dinner and hopefully catching Wishes from up there. Wed is Epcot day with a break at the Boardwalk pool (the clown water slide is my kids favorite one).

I'll try and download some pics later.

It appears that if you choose to walk, it is a done deal. At this point, I am not sure what else we can do other than no make the endowment we planned to make to the school. We are choosing to make it to her high school instead.

I have a new thought on this whole STAR testing. They are taking it this week and before I never paid any attention to it. It seems to me that going on vacation during STAR testing is actually ideal! My son has no homework and they aren't teaching him anything new. The way I look at it, this can actually be a blessing. Now if I can just get the school to see if from my point of view.

2-bedroom suite at the Hyatt for 5/9 cost $700. Anyone know how to get it cheaper?? Otherwise, I think we will book two standard rooms and hope to get price on hotwire later.

Are we all still up for a mimosa party the morning we leave? Maybe arrange for a buffet breakfast from 7am-10am in one of the Hyatt's conference rooms??? Now is the time to plan. YIPPEE!!!

WOW!! I suppose a lot of the suites are used for conferences at the airport. When we use to travel on business we would get the large suites so we could do business meetings in the room as was cheaper than renting a conference room. I would just book two adjoining rooms and hope for a better price on hotwire later.

Maybe we should do a progressive mimosa party on the morning we leave???
