gosh it is pouring here and thundering terribly!! I just can't seem to concentrate. John is off today, sleeping I might add!
Pyschics....(can't recall if I posted here or not)...my mom went to one years ago and apparantly some of it has happened and a lot dealt with my sister and I although she will not tell us anything that was said....hope it isn't bad news!

I must say this group has made me want a mac, but now it is just a matter of finances settling down (I have this cruise I need to pay for! ). Also, I do a lot of powerpoint presentations about wellness and weight loss at local community locations and I would hate to lose those by switching out of the microsoft world.

Powerpoint is a part of MS Office for the Mac, and of course Apple makes a similar product called "Keynote". My experience is that Powerpoint presentations are easily ported to the Mac Version of Office.

And, of course, if you still really want that security of Windoze, you can run that too on a new Mac if you must, with either bootcamp, or parallels.

Not knowing these ports all that well makes it hard especially when we don't have a full day there..back on board by 4 or so. In Cozumel, while we were traveling in a pack, I loved that we had a jeep and were on our own in a sense. I would like to rent a jeep in Aruba but am not sure how safe it is.

I went and searched and found a couple that had some good info. I don't think Disney has ever stopped in Aruba that I can find. That is the port I am really looking forward to but I have no idea what to do. I have looked at Aruba.com and they have some info on excursions. I think it would be plenty safe to rent a jeep.

I have no clue how large the island actually is and how long it would take to tour some of the highlights...arubalisa on the cruise critic boards is full of awesome information. I would like to see the natural pool but it looks as though the best way would be to horseback in....wonder if we can rent a jeep for most of the day and then do that as well?

Went to bed early last night and I am still tired. Tonight we have to dine with the Outlawz....at Outback...at least they have liquor there.

got on here at last, have had a busy day.......2 hours ironing this morning, then helping dd with some exam revision skills. my life is just one long round of excitement!

One good piece of news from dh today....he is currently a contractor with an IT company but has just been told his permanent appointment has been approved, so that's great news for holidays! Although the money will be a little less, it's more security, a car, paid holidays etc!
