Here is my little bit of Sassy

100_2081.jpg

She's 14 years old.

Such a pretty cat!! :goodvibes

Sounds like stuff we use to make in a trash can at college. It really tasted like kool-aid (whatever flavor we used). And after one it didn't matter what it tasted like...
BLECH! :scared1:

Don't want the other 2 to feel left out so here is a picture of the 2 of them:

Jasper is on the left - he's 5 and weighs 14 1/2 pounds.

Sweetie is on the right - She's 6 and weighs 9 pounds.

She was in the cubbie first but she likes to hold her ground when he tries to squeeze her out.
AWWWWWW......Makes me want to cuddle up with them!

:rotfl2: He's a good little boy, but I might want to chain him in the closet when he hits 13 or so! :rotfl: :lmao:

Geez...13 would have been nice...ours hit at 10! I swear it was the month of his birthday that year. I was shocked, because I thought only girls had hormone issues!

Carolyn

Your wish is my command!

I'm looking right now on Ebay for that 100lbs of underwear you guys were talking about. I figure that is one pair for every woman on board!
OK ladies, you heard him......No need to pack undies. John's bringing a supply for us! And we expect them to come pre-bedazzled. :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: She is just the sweetest thing! Wait till you guys meet Carolyn's kids....you will want to gobble them up! Can't wait till our Disneyland visit ::yes::

You're sweet, Jackie. We won't be playing at Disneyland on miniMeet weekend, though. You'll have to find someone else to hop with:)...

:rotfl2: That will be just my luck!

100lbs of underwear?
Why do I always feel I missed something great when I check this thread? I have to sleep sometime.

:rotfl: :lmao: OH MY GOSH! You sure do come up with some pretty hilarious visuals! :rotfl2:

What a visual!!

Well all I can say is that photo does not EVEN look like me. Those of you who know that slide can just imagine. Amy was asking me when you have to lay down - she did not realize the slide starts that way . . . I just said yeah, I can imagine going down the slide with a sign that says "duck now or lose your head" :rotfl2:

BTW - on the way down, I could feel the joint in EVERY section of that slide on my back - Like I said, a 250lb Weapon of Mass destruction flying down that tube.

I can't remember . . . is she at WDW? If so, do you want me to go with our thermometer (we also have a supply of antibiotic). I am not kidding. Amy or I will go if she is nearby. Of course she will wonder who the heck are these people???

Annie is home!! She got home at 10:00pm with her dad.

Thank you so much for the offer. I have been just crazy. One of the adults got sick before they left so 2 adults took 40 kids :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: They say now 8 of 40 are sick with a fever of 102 or higher. My DH brought home Annie and her best friend. He left the other 6 sick ones there for the teachers to deal with. He had his hands full with the two sick ones.

She was in Tampa for the first three days of the trip. That is where Don got them. They will move to Orlando tomorrow for the last three days. The first day she threw up the whole day. The second day she stayed in the hotel all day sleeping. One of the two teachers could not stay (as there was only two of them) so the travel company brought in a someone Annie had never meet before to stay with her and the other two sick ones. That stinks. When I finally got her on the phone, I asked if she could get some Over the Counter Meds for Annie...she said no...she did not have transportation. I said Annie had plenty of cash for a cab and she really needed something to help her. No Luck.

I am so mad at this whole incident. I have been writing a letter to the principal in my head al afternoon. Of course, that might hurt my daughter, if I critize what a terribel job they did with this.

This is the 5th year this school has done this and the first year a child had to go home sick. They have never planned for this.

How do I explain to my husband that I don't have to pack my unmentionables, because some guy named John is bringing them??

I think you did absolutely the right thing. I too would be writing a letter to the school telling them just exactly what you have told all of us. The school should have had a back up plan in place. We never, ever took a field trip with my daughter's class without at least 4 or 5 parents going along on the trip.

Just my two cents.
