Oh - and PJ, I have bought Minnie clothes from her before, but they were at least ALL before Haley was born (2 years....) I was just shocked because she listed an outfit in one size only and I asked if she could do an additional size and instead of responding she sent me an invoice!! Yikes!!! But it all worked out, I inquired about another outfit I would like for them both and got $10 off each and free shipping!

Where in Michigan are you? - I'm in Port Huron and it isn't that warm here yet.

Warm in Ohio - Sophia and I were out shooting baskets after my school board meeting tonight, and took the dog for a walk in shorts!

When I went into a meeting in Cleveland at noon, it was about 35, when I came out at 4, it was 65!

Samantha just went on Everest (which aside from RNR, is pretty much it at WDW), maybe they will go together???

I can hope . . . but Sophia can be VERY stubborn about such stuff once she makes up her mind . . . gee, wonder who she gets that from :rolleyes1

V- do you guys want to do AK on Saturday? I thought we were doing MK? I have to ask Amy . . . not sure where she made reservations to eat.

Can't wait to see you guys!

Answer your cell this year though, OK? :rotfl2:

Two years ago, I got Sophia on EVERYTHING - too young to be afraid! She still loves BTMRR, but no Splash Mountain, no Tower of Terror now, and can't get her to try Rockin Rollercoaster!

Not yet Cheri, we're still on standby...will let you know when the booty is back! :rolleyes1

You said "booty"! :rotfl2: Hmmmm.....isn't that where it will come from?! :rotfl2: (Sorry....that's what happens when you live alone with a 4-yr old boy.)

I thought the same thing but I was trying to restrain myself--:rotfl:
No 4 year-olds here but I did teach first graders for 30+ years!:rotfl2:

Our DD is the "Princess of Caution". We finally got her on Pirates and Haunted Mansion a few years ago and they are now her favorite.:thumbsup2

Last February we got her on Thunder Mountain and this past December we got her on Splash. She has "no desire" to do either again!:scared1:

We keep trying new ones with her, we'll see what we can get her on in May at DL. DH usually bribes her with cash to try new things!

Karen

That is our DD8 as well...I thought I was the only parent dealing with a child scared of every ride:lmao: She'll do everything once...and then that is it! (1x per trip). Although, she does love splash mountain and will do that over and over again to make mommy happy until she gets the perfect picture! :rotfl2: I often bribe her with a pin after each ride :rotfl: pretty expensive way to get to go on rides. This May we are going with her best friend who is a daredevil. I hope that gets her to enjoy the rides even more

We did Tower of Terror when it first opened in 1994 when DH and I were in WDW for our Honeymoon. :thumbsup2

It is totally different from what it is like now. We went again 2 years ago along with Rockin' Rollercoaster and I turned green on both!! Probably won't do those again, and I wouldn't ask DD to do them either.

Wonderful picture!! When I did the Eastern, I was on crutches so I didn't get to do any of the sightseeing. I must go back!

LOVE both of them!

Rockin' Rollercoaster is really my favorite though! I love the dark and the upside down. Makes me feel like I am flying. It's all a state of mind!

My VERY favorite rides are those coasters where you hang suspended on a seat, and do loops, etc. Those REALLY make you feel like you are flying, especially if you are in the FRONT seat! Wish WDW had one of those!

Well, just got the board back and it is bed time for me!

Don't forget to answer my question from first thing this morning UK time. What are your plans for after the cruise?

Good night all. Have a good evening.:)

I'm not sure at this point. Time-wise, there's no reason I have to get home (no job, husband, kids). With it being the holiday weekend, the park would probably be crowded, but getting a flight home might be hard, too. Since I live so close and have an AP I get to DL and So. CA pretty often (several times a year) so I don't feel like I have to take advantage of being there to see things. I guess I'll just wait and see. If anything, I may go out to FL early since I've never been to WDW. I'll probably go out at least a couple of days early so I can adjust to the 3 hr. time change before we sail, if nothing else.

John,

I'll watch you go on those rides!! Not real fond of going upside down in the dark!! :scared1:

I get motion sick so I don't do really well on OOPS rides! But I'll try almost anything once!!:woohoo:

I am frustrated that this will be my first trip to California, and I have to head almost immediately home! The farthest West before this I have been is St. Louis.

Good Night all!

Good Morning UK!

I picked Dennis up at 7 last night and we went directly to the casino. We had dinner there. They have a restaurant that looks out at the ocean, it was just at sunset, the waves were pretty big, the weather had just cleared enough so that there was some blue sky along with the clouds. It was beautiful and dinner was amazing! I had coconut/rum shrimp and Dennis had sauted scallops....we shared. Every piece of dinner was perfect, the roasted potatoes, the grilled veggies, and the presentation. It was so good that I sent a 10% tip to the chef. I have only done that a few times, but it was that good!

The Siletz Tribe is $90 richer now also! :lmao: :lmao: Fun evening though. I only lost $10, so that tells you the luck DrHug had with his slots! :sad2:

Today the weather has cleared. The sun has shone all day. I took a walk around the park this morning and realized I should have taken Dennis' camera...so I came back to the MH, got the camera and did the walk again. The lake here is quite pretty, it was very quiet with only one man and a child fishing today. The whole park is silent since it is off season here on the coast. Only us old folks in RVs here. Lovely, lovely days for me this week, but alas...back to work tomorrow. BUT the good news is that I just work one day and then I am off Friday thru next week for our trek to Montana with DGS and his buddies. :thumbsup2

Ok, I feel horrible how could I forget my other 2 babies:

DisneyonIceSnoopyandLucyandChris-1.jpg

This is Lucy,

DisneyonIceSnoopyandLucyandChrissy0.jpg

And this is Snoopy, was supposed to be a 25lbs beagle but grew and grew until she hit 60lbs and is more of a hound.

These pics are horrible but I can't find any others. The dogs live with my mom b/c before we had no yard but they will be coming to live with us at the new house  :cheer2:

Oh and about the cats names:
When I was little I said my first childs name was going to be Chrissy. When we went to the pet store there sat Chrissy, I thought the name was perfect and we kept it.

KMX- Matt works at Carmax and this is where he found her, so I let him name her. KMX is the stock symbol for carmax. I tried to get him to change it but he wouldn't and it fits her.
