Sounds great! Good for you for doing it!!! You know, it doesn't matter how the album looks...what matters is that the pictures are in an album so the "story" of your life and your family's lives can be told!!! :thumbsup2

So, what does it say when your oldest has 6 albums of her first 3 years!!! and your youngest has not a single one :sad2: Both girls looked alike as babies and Taylor (youngest) would open up the scrapbooks and say "look at me here:) " and I would have to break it to her again and again..."no honey, that is your sister:sad2: "
Goal for the year: Get DD#2's baby album done and her first bday party! Ok, now I said it outloud it might actually happen! :lmao:

Did anyone notice the spell checker button in the upper right hand post corner????oh my gosh never mind the tags we have spell check!!!!:rotfl2:  :dance3: :rolleyes1

Just droppin' by to take a look around... we're bringin' the Magic back in August ... so I just HAD to make a posting to see the little spell checking symbol in the corner! THERE IT IS! .... cool....

Ahhh, Firemen as entertainment... Works for me!!!:cool1:

Karen

So what number can we men call for entertainment?

(don't give me one of those 888 numbers, I mean free entertainment!)

We will be at Vero Beach that night (March 23) - will have to watch. How do you vote?

Boy, the boards are slooooooow tonight too!

Do any of you have HD TV? We just got it about a month ago, and I have to say, Discovery HD is worth the price of the TV! They showed some images from a new show coming March 25th called Planet Earth that were simply STUNNING. I really don't watch much other than sports and documentaries (and sci-fi) on TV, but I could watch that Discovery HD all day.[/QUOTE]

We got our first HD TV this Christmas...and I'm amazed by it too! Especially the Discovery HD channel. I watch it in between my network favorites, but DH John watches mostly movies, so when there's not a good one on, he watches Discovery a lot of the time. Thanks for the heads up about the March 25th Planet Earth. I must Tivo. I never watch live TV anymore. TV without FF and Pause is out of the question! I'm so spoiled...

It's on the side of the main site www.missusa.com I think it should start soon and they announce it during the show, so you should be able to vote until the day of the competition.

Thanks!

Kim

I went here to vote and didn't find it on the home page. I'll keep checking and vote as soon as they let me. Good Luck!

Thanks..I'll keep them tonight (they are not fighting!!). Only Daniel will be with me on this cruise.

I was thinking, you know how 20% of the people do 80% of the work at school, church, community....etc. I bet all of us in this group fall into that 20% who care about the world around us! And, we are all so proud of our families!!:goodvibes :) :goodvibes :) :goodvibes :)

I Agree!!! This group is the cream of the crop ... caring is the key ... and having a beautiful family to be proud of is what it's really all about...Alfie! (now I'm really dating myself).

I had to say... our 1st HD TV was worth every penny when we were watching the Winter Olympics... it was almost like being there without any of the expense. Of course, I'm still mildly chafing at paying so much for just a few HD channels. The only really stunning programming is that which is shot on HD cameras. The upsampled HBO or Showtime material is rarely breathtaking in clearity or resolution... but the PBS HD and Discovery HD programming is real eye-candy.

So - which set did you get? Plasma, LCD, LCD rear projection or ??? Was it a 720p or 1080p set? Mine is a somewhat older set already an 18 month old design that is discontinued; an Epson Livingstation 57". It uses 3 1" LCD micorpanels for rear projection with improved balck levels and NO spinning color wheel - thus elimenating the rainbow effect. I have 2 spare bulbs - so in thoery I am equipped for 24-30,000 hours of use - or at an estimated 24-30 hours of viewing a week this translates into roughly 1000 weeks of use - or near 20 years of viewing! OR ... if my average viewing time is closer to 48-60 hours a week (not possible) then I have 10 years of viewing. Plus - the Livingstation was supposedly the 1st multimedia convergence HDTV of it's type with an intergrated digital imaging feature set. It has an dye-sublimation photo printer, CD RW drive and photo handling firmware to take memory cards directly to make 4x6 prints viewed on the HD TV screen! As a digital photography enthusiast this has been a fun toy.

Are you sure you are not one of us Geeks? :rotfl:

Sony Bravia XRB 1080p 46" LCD here. Great blacks, and great viewing angle.

Thought I would share a few pics as well :) This first one is the look on my dd's faces when they first saw the Disney Wonder. We kept the cruise a surprise and it wasn't until they saw the ship that they realized what was happening. So this picture is 2 years old...

This picture was taken this summer after a Libby Lu birthday party...

And, just to share my pups too....here are my other girls. We always say the white one (Hau Kea) is so ugly she is cute! :)

I Would like to be among the first to sign up for the class, as long as there is no limit on DOD's!:woohoo: That might tend to make the class most interesting.:lmao: :lmao:

Doug

That's OK, ibouncetoo offered me to share with her...it'll be the next best thing to the Grand!;)

Better lower those expectations sistah! It's no where NEAR 'next best to the Grand"! But we will have fun and we each get our own bathroom!!!! :lmao:

I gave up on the boards last night.....too slow for me...went off and read my current Phillipa Gregory instead.

Just got back from my dentist appointment and I have to have a wisdom tooth pulled!!! BUMMER! But I'll get that all taken care of before DIS Meet time.

OK...back to work.
