Poor Ella!!!:sad2:

(I always side with the cat...)

Karen

We had to seperate the two dogs...Jordie is now in adult DS's apartment above the detached garage. After the kids fell asleep, Ella popped back out....she sneeks around and keeps tabs on all the other animals and the kids. She's stealth in the night...not to worry about her!!!:cool2:

you all shouldn't put ideas in my head, lol

I think it's perfect...yes, I do LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

They can be very temperamental, but I love discus too!! Send pictures when they are "up and running"!!:yay:

Karen

They are beautiful fish. The assistant at the centre said for the size of tank the 4/5 would be the best number, then a group of small fish and some bottom cleaners. I will post some pictures when it is finished - probably late June after John's birthday.

Deb it would be lovely to think we might do more cruises. I rather think these two will be it, though you never know of course! I am just thrilled and excited to have the opportunity to go on these cruises. John never fancied cruising at all and has many plans for other places to visit. I am hoping he gets the bug though!:)

I tell DH that I'll visit other places when DCL goes there and I'll do the excursions. Just wait until you see how pampered you'll be. I hope John gets the bug too!

I'm sure that there will be plenty for you to join us, Mandy!! :thumbsup2 You should just about make it in time if you leave right now!!:lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: oh well, bit late now...maybe next time!;)

I say, live and let live. We could each have our own way and be different. I'll ignore yours and you ignore mine and we'll all get along. Otherwise, I get really riled up about others changing my rights.pirate:

Hear, Hear Deb!!!:woohoo:

Karen

Oh yes, there are so many places I'd like to visit with the Magic!:dance3:

DH wants a Rum Runners Club - ---- he says you can stay on the porch with the beer boys or your can run with the big dogs and the Cap'n and drink rum.

Glad you found somewhere you feel comfortable and happy. That is the most important thing - something we are still struggling with, and is further complicated because Amy was raised Lutheran. I really enjoy Orthodoxy and all that goes with it - I just want to go to church for worship and fellowship - not politics! To think, mom desperately wanted me to become a priest!

We have not found that here in OR, but we just have not fit in here in many ways. 20 years is a pretty good try, but the beautiful shoes just don't fit. We are hoping to find the spiritual place for us in Montana as well as a social fit.

Cruising is very addicting. My friend Cindy wasn't looking forward to our cruise this past January. She was nervous and not thrilled about being on the water and cooped up for 8 days. Before the end of the cruise, she was absolutely hooked! Within a couple days after the cruise, she was already planning her next one and is booked on this one with me. She's trying to squeeze on in before this one somewhere too.

Glad to know you're still with us, Noel. You are greatly and noticeably missed when we don't get your posts. At least we know you're ok and will join us when you can.:grouphug:

What a very nice thing to say. I will try to join in as I can.

Noel

The family estate, the grandkids, the holiday...you have a lot going on right now in your life. Understandable that you have little DIS time available. Just know that we're all here for you whenever you can get away for a while. You may enjoy the distraction from your other realities!:grouphug: :rolleyes1

All I can say is thank you. I am so blessed to know you!!

Noel

We have had FIVE priests at this church since I was growing up! The "ruling class" is hard to satisfy. It is interesting that your mom and my family had similar experiences. I was asked several years ago to be on the parish council, and declined - even though my income may now be greater than some of those who my family was not good enough for in the past, those memories are hard to forget. The school board is bad enough politics for me - the church is WORSE!

As to the divorce, I was told that as long as he now remains celibate, and does not remarry, he can remain a priest. If he were ever to remarry, he could then not be a priest.

John, please share with Amy that I am also Lutheran on both sides of my family. In fact, I am so Lutheran, my fathers cousin (my second cousin) is named Luther. Luther Olmon helped start the California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.

Here is an interesting article about Luther and his wife Elaine.

Been sleeping on and off. Managed to make it through the 1/2 day at work today, went home and back to bed around 2pm or so, woke up at 8pm and wasn't sure if it was still today or if I had slept through to 8am! :lmao: Read the past couple pages here, got caught up, fortunately not much to catch up on. Still feel lousy, so took more Nyquil and am headed back to bed after being awake for a little over an hour. Fortunately, I don't have to get up in the morning and can literally sleep until picking Tyler up at 5pm. At least my chest doesn't hurt anymore from coughing, and I'm not lightheaded and feverish like I was all day yesterday, so I'm definitely on the mend. Hopefully by Sunday I'll be well enough for the 3 hour roundtrip to my dad's for our family get-together. :goodvibes

Goodnight all!

Noel,

I will be sure to let Amy know. I went to services a lot with her when we were dating, and you Lutherans are not that different from us - but you all sure do sing a lot more!

At some point guys, I need to get some of you over to Friday night chats again. I am usually the only WB person in there, surrounded by (Nice), but not my crew EB folks!

Anybody that wants to join in, I will try to remember to post a link next Friday.
