Great news John...and she looked like she had a blast! I love the slide at OKW, and I love sitting there in the sun watching DDs go down it thinking about how great they will sleep that night! Congrats on the Buckeyes win....have they ever gotten this far before?

This is the ninth time for Ohio State to get to the final four.

But only one Championship to show for it since 1939 - in 1960.

Awesome! Take a dip for me too! It hit 70 here today......but only in the air. However, that's higher than normal for this time of year (because it can still snow in April), so I was thrilled! Had 2 windows open until about 8:30pm and was loving the fresh air coming inside. But it's back down in the 50s now. Oh well....had a beautiful day to tide me over until summer!

For those mom's that need Roxy and Billabong stuff for their kids try Ross if you have one near you. I always get DD's stuff there for a lot cheaper. They have the shirts for $10.00 and less. I love that store.

Thanks...I always forget about Ross. I will have to check that out next weekend when I go shopping for our WDW trip.

Only two pages to catch up on tonight. We swam in the morning, went to the Indians-Dodgers game in the afternoon (Indians lost, but we left after 5 innings because it was too BLAZIN' hot to sit and watch a ballgame - both Sophia and I picked up a bit of burn), more swimming tonight, and dinner out.

Having a great time - wish more friends were with us! I truly love this Disney resort-away-from-Disney!

Sounds like you are having a great time. Does it feel like Disney? We are going to HH in July for a few days and wondering if it will still feel like disney.

Doggy Pixie Dust Needed
Need pixie dust so that all these poor sweet dogs get good homes.

Oh,things like that make my stomach go. If they give the pups a lot of news time, they will be adopted in no time. Keep us informed please...

Good morning boys and girls! Quite night last night....did everyone go out and play? We did girls night out...movie and dinner. We saw the Don Cheadle (sp???) Adam Sandler movie and it was quite good (Peg needed a tissue). Had Chinese after (had too, that's all Adam Sandler's character ate during the movie).

I saw that today and though it was good, too. I'm generally not an Adam Sandler fan, but thought he did a good job in this movie. It made me think back to "Click", which I left feeling that it had the potential to be so much more; it had a great message, but it was really diminished by the crudeness and slapstick.

I also saw "The Last Mimsy" this weekend. Different, I liked it; I thought the kids were very good. Interesting note: the short story it's based on was written in 1943!

Is it still 2 months till our Disneyland DIS meet? Man, I am so ready to go NOW!

Hey, it's a few days less than 2 months Jackie, but still a long way off! Maybe we should make a countdown timer for the DISmeet??

Doggy Pixie Dust Needed

Just got a call from a friend of mine. She does a lot of volunteer work for the local golden retriever rescue organization and they were able to shutdown a puppy mill and rescue 100 dogs! She told me some of the stories that didn't make the news and it was horrendous.

Need pixie dust so that all these poor sweet dogs get good homes.

Sorry Deb. I went away because it was the usual time for the Dis to go down, but it didn't for another hour!!! I just came back on here and it was behaving badly!!! Presumable because our clocks went forward yesterday, but the funny thing is it always went down at that time before! I am confused - nothing new there I might add.

So, the Dis goes down at about 9.20am our time for about 30 mins, then has another 30 mins of erratic behaviour. That would be 4.20 am Eastern and 1.20 PT.

wow! I think everyone must have had a busy weekend, its been so quiet on here!

It's a beautiful day here today, really quite warm and very sunny. For some reason though I'm having a 'down' day today so I went to Hobbycraft (our local hobbies shop) and cheered myself up by buying some things to decorate our fish extender with. I couldn't find much in the Disney style though so will look out when I'm in Florida next.

I love it! And the sign could also say "Just hand over the drink.....and back away slowly".

"step away from the deranged females and their cocktails...." Holly, we'll be a subject of 'Planet Earth' soon!

Okay, trying to catch up on my reading again, who do I PM to get on the list for this?

Sounds really lovely John. Some friends of ours stayed there last year and we were very jealous. I'd really love to see more of the US but we just ssem to keep going back to Florida (apart from when we took Becky to NY last year)

I get my toast and cappuccino and sit and go on all the boards I frequent, but I have to get on here first - or at least I did!!!
My bread is home made(bread machine) seeded, so you can guess what my keyboard is like!!! Sometimes the keys won't work and I have to give them a good blow underneath!!

Hi Marilyn, I did get some sleep. Irratic at best! I went to sleep early, woke up very early and did the puppy thing, went back to sleep again and now I'm up for today. You know what it's like to have a new baby in the house, you're up and down all night long. A couple more weeks and she should be good to go all night without interruptions. Until then, you'll see me on here at all hours....
