It's definitely my favorite.....such a beautiful place! And I love drinking a Bushwacker on top of Paradise Point!Great photo Holly!
I LOVE St. Thomas!
What in the world happened to the DIS boards? Have been down most of the day today????

Didn't get to watch it afterallDH got a business call and that lasted until 1030, so at that point, I went into bed and read. Will watch it tonight before LOST! Tonight we get to figure out what the truth is about John. Now, who thinks they will actually tell us anything concrete? I am still waiting for any answers.
This is crazy: I just stepped outside to see what all the racket was....sounded like majorly heavy freezing rain pelting my windows and house. Since it was 38 degrees when I got out of work this afternoon, I figured the temp was much cooler by this late and freezing rain wouldn't be out of the question. I opened the door and was shocked at how warm it felt! So I checked the temp and it's 62 degrees! WOOHOO! Our warmest temps yet this season......too bad it has to be at night in a RAINSTORM.![]()
Where in Michigan are you? - I'm in Port Huron and it isn't that warm here yet.
You carry on a lot more stuff that I do. I put a bit of that stuff in my checked luggage. So this might not help you but I love my laptop backpack. It's a lot easier to carry than a standard carryon. And I didn't want a laptop case on wheels. My DH works for a disk drive recovery company so I've heard all the horror stories. (When you meet my DH get him to tell you some of the stories. The one about the laptop with the hatchet in it is the best.)
It was so frustrating today!!! And now, I keep getting blank emails from disboards...anyone else getting those?
How cool to have a fellow Michigander here! I'm in Lansing.
OK, so how does a rolling case end up with a hatchet in it?![]()
None of the stuff I listed in my original post do I trust to pack away. Do you really trust expensive camera stuff to TSA? And since my luggage has been lost on more than one occasion (last time a belt broke at Orlando, and I did not get luggage for a day) I can't trust my cpap to checked luggage.
Trust me, I am VERY careful with my computer, camera and gadget stuff. Drives Amy crazy. Some guys are like that with cars or golf clubs, I am like that with gadgets. My laptop has a cloth between the keyboard and display, a sleeve, and a padded zippered case before it makes it into the bag.
John1, Dennis has a Lowepro camera backpack that will hold his laptop, his cpap, his camera and an extra lense. Not ideal, but we cut 3 carryons to one with this thing. No wheels, but as a backpack it works.
Not me. But I finally got my first error message today. I was bummed because I had tons of time today at work to be on here and the DIS just wasn't cooperating.
My stuff weighs too much! Must have wheels!
The Samsonite thing would be ideal if just a tad bit bigger. It is one with four wheels, so I don't even have to tilt it to roll it.
Our DD is the "Princess of Caution". We finally got her on Pirates and Haunted Mansion a few years ago and they are now her favorite.![]()
Last February we got her on Thunder Mountain and this past December we got her on Splash. She has "no desire" to do either again!![]()
We keep trying new ones with her, we'll see what we can get her on in May at DL. DH usually bribes her with cash to try new things!![]()

Two years ago, I got Sophia on EVERYTHING - too young to be afraid! She still loves BTMRR, but no Splash Mountain, no Tower of Terror now, and can't get her to try Rockin Rollercoaster!
