you're right, why on earth did you get called George????

My name is supposed to be pronounced as Mo-nica (as in portuguese or spanish) not "ma-nica" as my mom & dad say everyone else pronounces it.

When I was little (I think 2 or 3) my great uncle got sick of my mother correcting his pronunciation and he said "ah, to h e l l with it, I'll just call her George" and it stuck. My cards were always adressed to George, and cards to him were always signed George.

Well, I got an email from Houseparty this am and they told me Disney noticed their mistake yesterday and are fedex'ing a new package to me today to get there tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed!

I would love heated seats.

I'm just happy to have heat in general. I drive a VW bus.

Our older buses were air cooled and when it was really cold didn't generate enough heat to even defrost the windows. We had an ice scraper for the inside.

The newer version has the engine in the front, has 6 cylinders (which means actual speed going uphills ) and heat glorious heat even on the coldest nights.

I work for a VW dealer. Do you have a Eurovan or a Westy? We have a Passat Wgn w/ HEATED SEATS.
I don't think I would buy a car that didn't come with them.

My Explorer has heated seats....I use them alot!

They are the best. They are also great if you have a sore back.

Good Morning All! I feel really good right now, I just did some pliets and tondues at the ballet barre and some time on the treadmill. It feels good. I definitely don't want a cigarette now. That too is a good thing.

I'm running out today, so I'm just doing a drive by post. I'm taking Ray out to the moseleum again. This is our weekly thing now, every Wednesday we go.

Tomorrow I will add the 50+ names that I have printed to the Master List. When I'm done with that Lisa/LiserAnn I'm sending it to you and then I'm finished with it. You can take it from there and keep a current head count.

Friday is payday and bill paying day and then another week is over. How quickly they go by. We only have three more months until this cruise and it's going to go so very fast. I can't wait.

We watched this on our DCL cruise last year.

the package was kind of thrown together and as others have posted, it could have been better, I would have done DCL magnets, pin, lanyard, car topper, key chain, etc for each guest. That way they are things the person could use and keep DCL a front runner in their mind.

I'm arriving at WDW later in the day on the 8th, staying at CSR. I plan to go to AK in the AM on the 9th, then I'll be heading to Epcot for the rest of the day.

We are arriving at WDW the morning of the 9th and will be staying at Port Orleans. Doing waterpark in the morning. Planning to be at AK on the morning of the ninth and probably doing the other waterpark in the afternoon. Our son (10) gets to do the planning for our WDW stay.

With your ballet and the treadmill you should be becoming more supple Deb and fitter too. Great that you don't want a cigarette too!

It's just DH and I. Last time we used a plastic bag from the cruise store and stored it in the bottom shelf in the steamer trunk. I'll be sending laundry out to be done, but plan on doing our undies and socks myself.

That sounds like a good plan....does anyone have any idea on costs to have them do the laundry? It maybe worth it instead of waiting on the laundry (that doesn't mean tho that we can't still have a laundry party in my room ...btw I'm on deck 6).

I am heading out of town for a few days to West Virginia and will have no internet (or cell service!) so please know I will help but it will be a few days before I reply.

And I vote for the LIME GREEN lanyards - it was so easy to know who was a DIS person verses another group like a family that may just have some.Krisann

Bear in mind that we will also have the lime green bracelets to help identify each other.

Well I've been to the gym this morning and we did a 30 min+ abs class. I'm going to ache tomorrow!

I think I have turned the corner with the gym and should be going more regularly from next week. Have a facial instead tomorrow!!! I know which I would really prefer.

Dropped a little weight - perhaps pre last vacation, but a way to go yet. I don't weigh myself. It's the big birthday in March, so I am hoping to have made some headway by then.

I had time and looked up Ohio Law today. School districts are prohibited from charging for bus transportation, even if it is not provided to the student under state guidelines. Probably varies greatly state to state.

Back in '67 I was living in Ill. The district bused the kids within the mile and half limit. Those of us who wanted to ride had a seperate bus that we paid for by the month.

We live in Maryland now. When we moved here our DD walked to elementary school. It was only 6 blocks from our house. She had sidewalks in our newer neighborhood and walked along the street about 2 blocks to reach the school in the older neighborhood.

About three years ago the board decided to bus everyone no matter where they lived when a group of parents at another school pitched a fit. Their kids were cutting across a parking lot (shortcut) to get to school.
