Nan, it was my DBil and his DS who go carted, but since Dbil is getting a divorce, the go carting has come to a halt. If you do go so SM to race, take a jacket. I always found it to be cold and Windy. Congrats again to Wilson.

Also about Mexican night - mean we dress up Mexican clothes? We have no clue about it. What clothes? Can anyone give me the details?

Pirates - we are bringing the Pirates clothing but Mexican? I thought it will have a tropical night but it was not there?

We have authentic clothes to wear for this night, since the kids celebrate Cinco de Mayo at school. There are vendors that sell them on ebay too. I wasn't so smart and bought them local in San Jose at a store, they weren't cheap....

Too bad this isn't the good shot of Molly's outfit, this was for a specific dance in 3rd grade. I see what I can find on ebay to point you to some good shops. The colors for the dresses for girls are soooooo cute.

I know I was going to wait to post the fish teams until after the 2/9, but I got a bit anxious so started working on them. I'll put it hold - if you haven't PM'd, please still do if you want to join. But I'll wait to put together anymore teams until after the final payment. If you are already on a team, feel free to start planning/ordering but I think Jackie & Deb are right that it will be hard to have a final count as to how much to buy until final payment is due.

I'm just as anxious as you Lisa to get it done, but this does make good sense so I guess we'll have to put aside our OCD and just let it lie for a couple of weeks. I know it's hard, but it does make the most sense. It's really hard for me too!

Has anyone flown on Frontier Airlines??? We can get a great price at a decent time flying with them but they are relatively new to CT and I am nervous flying someone other then Southwest because we haven't flown on anyone else before!

When you pay for a day price, do they also give you a room for the day? They have a AAA rate of $135. It would cost us $60 if we did the day rate price, but I do like having a room to take a quick shower before going back on the boat - especially the kids since they will have sand everywhere!! I checked out the Sheraton in Cabo - that looks nice. The one in PV has two swim-up bars! My kids love swimming up to the bar and asking for a shirley temple!

I know last cruise, we had people who read the boards, didn't post and wanted to be a part of things, but not be a part of things if that makes sense.

yes, it does, but if people don't tell you that then how would we know about them? I think if they don't repsond drop them from the list.

I don't think it includes a room, but I think they may have facilities around the pool. I can email back and ask.



I don't expect anyone to post and I know there are many on this cruise who have tons of stuff going on, but I do think they could just answer a pm and let us know they are going or not.

I'd do a day rate if you get a room, otherwise seems like a "pool rate" doesn't it? Not that it's not worth it, but I'd like a room to refresh in too. Any info you find on this V would be greatly appreicated.

Man I'm loving this right click, I feel the weight of the multi post lifted from my fingers.

Lisa, I have one other idea in my mind, it will depend on how many people also, but I'm pretty sure I'm doing it (& dragging Holly into it with me...yes I haven't mailed it to you yet, I'm a bad mailer....)

Sorry to hear of DBil and divorce. thanks for the cheer for Wilson, I'll tell him and he'll look at me funny and I'll explain you know like our other Diser friends, these are the ones we just haven't met yet. He is chomping at the bit to get me dressed and outta here, but I gotta finish these last few pages...then stop chatting will you

If they are reading but not replying they should still answer their pms. Maybe about a month before the cruise or more a few people can pm 10-20 people of the list just to make sure they are still on the boat. If a few people did this it wouldn't be too much on one person.

This could be a good test of the floor "captains" change board holders, hmmm....

We've pretty much settled our excursions. We wanted to have it firmed up mostly for budgeting reasons. I still can't get over how expensive everything is! Anyway, here's our list:

CC - hang out on the beach, maybe rent bikes, etc.

Aruba - as much as DH and I would love to jeep it with the DIS group, my DS really wants to do the semi-sub excursion so we're all doing the "Sea and See Island Tour". (It's all about the kids - HA HA.)

Acapulco - cliff divers (not through DCL) and something else, not sure what. Love to do the beach but not sure where?! I've never been to Aca so I'm not sure how near/far everything is.

PV - DH, DS6 and DS9 will do the sea lion encounter and since DH can't do the zipline because of his wrist surgery, I'll be doing the Outdoor Adventure with Kaylee and Scott. It's been a long time desire for me to do a zipline so DH said "go for it"!

Cabo - going to the beach at "The Office", renting lounge chairs and an umbrella. Later in the day we'll rent jet skis and have fun with the boys in the water.

I don't really want to burst your bubble or stomp on your excitement but I feel the need to tell you something. I did this excursion when I went to Aruba and the diesel smell down below was so bad that I was glad it was a semi-submarine. It never fully submerged so I was able to spend most of the time outside.

If you remember the submarines at WDW or DL, that is all these things were. It is not much different than a glass bottom boat except you are looking out little portholes instead of the bottom of the boat.

This may be exactly what you are looking for but it was not at all what I was expecting. JMHO - YMMV*.

* note for Deb - just my humble opinion - your mileage may vary -lol

I know everyone is very anxious to get things 'going' on this cruise, but I really don't think you should put any more work into group activities and the master list until AFTER 2/9. I'm sure there are a bunch of people who still don't know if they're going or not. And some that are sure, my not be focusing on this trip until then.

I think we'll save ourselves a lot of stress if we just sit tight for a few more weeks!

Oh...my worst nightmare! Had so much fun this week re-shuffeling all our commercials for the Golden Globes!

I'm bumming the Golden Globes aren't going to be the normal show. I'm afraid the Academy awards will be cut down too!
