I much prefer Frontier to SW. TV screens for every seat, very nice and comfortable. I flew then to and from LA this last fall. We are flying them out of SNA to get back home.
I don't really want to burst your bubble or stomp on your excitement but I feel the need to tell you something. I did this excursion when I went to Aruba and the diesel smell down below was so bad that I was glad it was a semi-submarine. It never fully submerged so I was able to spend most of the time outside.
If you remember the submarines at WDW or DL, that is all these things were. It is not much different than a glass bottom boat except you are looking out little portholes instead of the bottom of the boat.
This may be exactly what you are looking for but it was not at all what I was expecting. JMHO - YMMV*.
On our last cruise, we announced that certain activities would be open only to those who signed up. This led many of the lurkers -- who never posted -- to come out of the woodwork.. . . I would say that we should probably "define" the group at the 90 day final payment date for anything that requires planning to participate. People who come on after that can participate in as much as is possible, but some things will be impossible - especially if things are ordered for the group.
Maybe this group can do it better, by listing the things we have already planned and detailed that are "closed out" after the 90 day final payment date, but other things that anyone can participate in after that time.
Not a perfect answer, but personally, I would like to include as many people as possible, and would only exclude new people from things that are impossible to change. Hopefully it would not get too unwieldy.
John the beard makes him look so much older, compared to the photos from when he visited England this summer, very doctor like.

Lisa,I just bought our airline tickets for San Diego to Orlando . . .
I believe it's actual name is the Port of Los Angeles. portoflosangelesSomeone asked about what port we're coming into, not sure if it was answered...it's the Port of San Pedro.
I just bought our airline tickets for San Diego to Orlando - we're on Frontier.
Now I just have to reserve a car.
(Oh and pay off the cruise)
Extraordinary Desserts is a favorite of Mrs. Woody's. extraordinarydessertsWoody,
Those desserts look wonderful.
I am a big berry/fruit fan, and they have some wonderful desserts in that area.

Hello everyone. Once again, I had a crazy week. I apologize for my missing everything. My washing machine broke, and then my basement flooded. 2 seperate things. The walls are down in our basement now and the carpet is being taken away with the salvageable furniture tommorow. The good news is my washing machine was fixed after a week waiting for parts and I think I may have actually caught up on the laundry.
My mom took home a bunch of the towels we used during the flood so luckily they were not sitting in water for a week, but I had no idea how much I would miss a stupid washing machine.
DD is much better. She still has the marks under her arm, but they seem to be getting better so that is also good. And wow, Feburary 10th, really?
I am really going to try to keep up, but DD has the Utah Winter games in 1 1/2 week, so it may take me a sec to catch up.

Lisa--
How far is San Diego from the Port in LA??? Do you know of any transportation companies that would bring you from the port to the San Diego Airport?? I checked Supershuttle and they don't go there.
I can get much cheaper airfare out of SD over LAX or even SNA.
