Just put and around the url and the pic should show up (don't include the spaces I used).

Or if you are in full editor mode you can click on the icon that looks like a mountain with the sun behind it and and then enter the URL into the pop-up box.

Just do either step for each pic and you should be on your way.

That is what I do, but what shows up is a link to the photo site and that opens access to all my albums, not just one picture. As PJ said, i shall try photobucket but I forgot my password so am W...A...I....T...I...N...G for the email to send it to me.

Ahh the url has to have a picture filename (and extension) in it. ie the last 4 characters should be *.jpg

Seems like you might be just giving an url that doesn't include a picture filename.

Might just check out your url. However, photobucket is MUCH simpler to use. I also like to recommend www.dropshots.com as it sorts pics by date based on the exif data embedded in the pic. It is really simple to use and veryhandy to find pics - so long as your camera settings are correct.

Oh there is nap time on the first afternoon, hmmmm....

WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! GIANTS WIN, GIANTS WIN, GIANTS WIN!!!!

Karen, I did fall asleep again in the fourth quarter and woke up during the last play and saw the win. I'm ecstatic! So I rewound the the beginning of the quarter and I"m watching what I missed. Lots of Dallas penalties and just sloppy playing. Good!

There are several photo sites that do no allow hot linking, which is what we do when we post our photos, I think that kodak may be one of them.

We have LOTS of people who didn't answer their PMs....maybe they just don't log on often....I think maybe we will have to just take them off the list. Any other thoughts?

Yes, I think it is fair enough to take anyone off the list who doesn't answer the PM as it would appear they aren't too interested anyway. If they come back latger then they can just be added again.

If they can't answer the pm then I say we cross them off our list!

Deb,

Amy answered your PM, but I did not . . . is one of us enough, or am I fired???

Yeah, when we decided on the cruise we decided to make it a "double dip" of the parks. The wife and I have always wanted to try and do a double dip. We came close in 1997, but just couldn't quite get there.

We also figure this will be the last big trip for us for awhile (my wife wants to change jobs - and cities - and my eldest will be moving into Grade 2 and the youngest getting ready for school) so we wanted to make it extra special.

My aunt, uncle and cousin are coming along as well. It will be their first trip to anything disney and the biggest trip of their lives. It will also be the first vacation they have had since my cousin (their oldest son 24) passed away in a car accident just over a year ago. With their daughter (21) in university, this will probably be their last chance for a family vacation with all of them before she gets on with her life.

And now my wife is just getting back from Edmonton where she was visiting her Aunt who has had been fighting cancer and it looks like she is losing. It has gone into her brain and the doctors are basically saying any day now. So it hasn't been a fun few weeks for her.

So yep, we aren't pulling any punches on this one.

 So sorry about your wife's Aunt :hug:And how hard it must have been for your Aunt and Uncle to lose a son:hug: I'm so glad though that you and your family and your Aunt, Uncle and Cousin are taking the time you all need to have this wonderful experience together:goodvibes
In 2000 my DH, DD and I went to WDW for the very 1st time, for a "once in a lifetime trip". I wanted my DS to come too but he did not:sad2: The real reason for the trip was because my children were getting older and I wanted one last trip together as a family, thinking that the kids would probably not want to vacation with mom and dad much longer. I never dreamt that it would be our last family vacation for other reasons. We had a wonderful time, and made so many wonderful memories. We loved it so much, that on the way home (we drove, so it was a long way home:rolleyes: ) we were already planning a repeat visit for 2002. Sadly, that never happened. My DH became sick and we lost him in 2002:sad1: So I know how important it is to do things while you can, and to celebrate life while you can:) I am forever thankful for the wonderful memories we have of that 1st trip in 2000. And My DD and I have made many return trips since then. This cruise is my 1st, to celebrate my 50th year:scared1: I am truly thankful that I am able to celebrate it. I hope you and your family have a wonderful trip and enjoy every minute of it.

It's snowing here now....we're getting a little of the snow that they had in Green Bay for the game and a little of a Noreaster travelling up the coast right now. We're sandwiched inbetween both of them and we're supposed to get 2-3 inches overnight.....just enough to cause havoc during tomorrow's morning rush hour.

What do we do then? If we have some people like that on our cruise?

It becomes really difficult . . .

Some folks were upset and felt left out - they came on at the last minute.

I would say that we should probably "define" the group at the 90 day final payment date for anything that requires planning to participate. People who come on after that can participate in as much as is possible, but some things will be impossible - especially if things are ordered for the group.

Maybe this group can do it better, by listing the things we have already planned and detailed that are "closed out" after the 90 day final payment date, but other things that anyone can participate in after that time.

Not a perfect answer, but personally, I would like to include as many people as possible, and would only exclude new people from things that are impossible to change. Hopefully it would not get too unwieldy.

Deb,

Amy answered your PM, but I did not . . . is one of us enough, or am I fired???

You're absolutely fine.....an answer is an answer.....I don't care who chooses to do it for the family. I'm just concerned about the ones that I don't hear from at all and don't know what to do with.

Amy and PJ answered for you John, you're good to go!!!

ugh, I am not sure if I told you what I did...I ordered a nice large brim floppy hat to wear with my bathing suit which is burg and green....the hat is burgandy, when it came...it is FELT! Not straw??!! Oh my, my head would be nice and sweaty!

ok, since Karen suggested and Deb did it, I felt like I had to try too.

OK, it's pretty easy but when you have to catch up on 10+ pages like me today, I may end up quoting stuff that isn't relevant anymore...you'll forgive me won't you? :confused3 :rolleyes1 :lmao:

I'm not sure if it works with Internet explorer, but with Firefox or Safari, if you have tabbed browsing on, you can open a response in a new tab - without opening a new window. In Safari it is the command key when you click, and in Firefox, I think it is the control key - but I am not at my work PC right now. Tabs seem easier for me than multiple windows.

Kathe and I were supposed to dine with her....well Kathe....looks like you are stuck with just us :lmao: :lmao:

Figured that out.....okay, you just need to find a teenager to bring with you!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao
We will still have a blast!!

Since it is just three of us (maybe 4 of Matt comes) ... maybe we should join up with another group......???:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Lisa, maybe you should invite Daniel's whole bowling team :lmao: :scared1:
I'm still happy to be sharing a table with you and Daniel :goodvibes I would be happy to share our table with another group too though :)
