My Canuckleheads are leading the Blues right now 3-2 at the 2nd intermission.
I just noticed your sig, you've got extra days at WDW and DL sandwiching your cruise? WOW.

katy, Juno was my other choice, I will probably go see it next week. I love the early morning movies on the weekend, just $6 and no need for popcorn before noon. Although I do give in and get a small one anyways.

This movie was also given some bad reviews, but you're the first I've heard from that actually saw it. I never go by the reviews, I like to read them but don't always agree. I love Jack NicholsonI did not like the movie About Schmidt though. Did you ever see that one? It had Jack Nicholson in it too but I thought the movie would never end

Didn't like that one either. Everyone including my dh said this was a good one!
Very few dry eyes in the house, including the men.
How could you forget me...what kinda Greek, I mean Geek are you?!![]()

I just got a PM from GreatWhiteNorth....she had to cancel too.
I'm trying hard to keep a civil tongue over what's going on with MIL. I just can't understand the choice (or lack of choice) which is why Paul and I are going to try an Alanon meeting this next week.
I've often wondered why my dad died when he didn't hard himself with drugs or booze, but MIL is still here dispite what she has done to her body. Sour grapes I know, and not kind on my part, but it just further explains how much I don't get this problem.
backto catching up now...I think I have 8 more pages. Then we are off to the awards ceremony for Wilson's go-karting year. He doesn't know that he is getting a big trophy. It should be cool.
We have authentic clothes to wear for this night, since the kids celebrate Cinco de Mayo at school. There are vendors that sell them on ebay too. I wasn't so smart and bought them local in San Jose at a store, they weren't cheap....Too bad this isn't the good shot of Molly's outfit, this was for a specific dance in 3rd grade. I see what I can find on ebay to point you to some good shops. The colors for the dresses for girls are soooooo cute.![]()
I like swimming up and asking for Rum & Cokes![]()

Oh, that's too bad. Lisa, that was the other cruiser who was going to join us for dining.

Yeah, when we decided on the cruise we decided to make it a "double dip" of the parks. The wife and I have always wanted to try and do a double dip. We came close in 1997, but just couldn't quite get there.
Daniel is back at school safe and sound.![]()

He has informed me he will be here in 2 1/2 weeks with 12 other kids (the VA Tech bowling team...8 boys and 4 girls) to stay at our house!! The Green and Gold George Mason Classic.....such fun!!
We are actually doing a triple dip on this one. We are driving to CA and doing 2 or 3 DL days, then flying to Orlando for 2 WDW days, then back to CA on the Magic and doing 3 more DL days!![]()

For any other Canadians I just saw an ad on TV for Disneyland where they are offering Canadians 5 days for 3 pricing.
I haven't looked online for it, but the ad says to check out disneyland.ca (or talk to your TA) for more details.
So if you are thinking of spending some time in DL this might help the budget.

We also figure this will be the last big trip for us for awhile (my wife wants to change jobs - and cities - and my eldest will be moving into Grade 2 and the youngest getting ready for school) so we wanted to make it extra special.
My aunt, uncle and cousin are coming along as well. It will be their first trip to anything disney and the biggest trip of their lives. It will also be the first vacation they have had since my cousin (their oldest son 24) passed away in a car accident just over a year ago. With their daughter (21) in university, this will probably be their last chance for a family vacation with all of them before she gets on with her life.
And now my wife is just getting back from Edmonton where she was visiting her Aunt who has had been fighting cancer and it looks like she is losing. It has gone into her brain and the doctors are basically saying any day now. So it hasn't been a fun few weeks for her.
So yep, we aren't pulling any punches on this one.
I am ready for bed!! I must be getting sick. I have been popping Advil all day and it seems to keep my throat in check. Still a bit sore when I swallow anything.
they have the Mickey ear.....and they are pretty strict about the swim diapered children in that ear only. Some kids are content in there, but I think as they get a bit older and realize what is going on just beyond that ear, they start to want to climb out and join in the fun in the pool.
They just have one of Mickeys ears! We find the pools for the kids are way too small so we don't do them much.
Ken - I am so sorry to hear about your cousin.
There's a Sail Away Party?
