Good Morning All! I feel really good right now, I just did some pliets and tondues at the ballet barre and some time on the treadmill. It feels good. I definitely don't want a cigarette now. That too is a good thing.

I'm running out today, so I'm just doing a drive by post. I'm taking Ray out to the moseleum again. This is our weekly thing now, every Wednesday we go.

Tomorrow I will add the 50+ names that I have printed to the Master List. When I'm done with that Lisa/LiserAnn I'm sending it to you and then I'm finished with it. You can take it from there and keep a current head count.

Friday is payday and bill paying day and then another week is over. How quickly they go by. We only have three more months until this cruise and it's going to go so very fast. I can't wait.

Have a great day everyone!

Good job on the ballet moves and the treadmill!
Have a good visit with Ray (and Mom  )

Btw - can I get your master list when your done??? That'll make the bracelet thing easier :)

I would love heated seats. :lovestruc

When we bought my car, the leather package came with heated seats and I thought, we live in CA...when will I ever use that?! Well, I must admit, on cold mornings like this one I LOVE the heated seats. Sometimes I sit in my car after dropping the kids off just to enjoy the warmth of the seats!!!! (My neighbors probably think I'm a wacko!) :rotfl:

I work for a VW dealer. Do you have a Eurovan or a Westy? We have a Passat Wgn w/ HEATED SEATS.
I don't think I would buy a car that didn't come with them.

We have a Eurovan. "Otto"

Our first was a '76 Champagne Edition. :hippie: It had carpeting, cloth seats and a clock . The dealer made a big deal out of the clock. :rolleyes1

I've been driving a "bus" since then. I don't know what I'll do when this one is a ring of rust and parts in the driveway. I don't want to drive a minivan.:sad2:

My DD's MIL is from Germany. She and I may make a car shopping trip if VW doesn't start importing them soon. ;)

Our dealership keeps asking to buy "Otto" back. NO WAY!!!!!

Can I call or do I have to have our travel agent call?

You can call directly on that, just have your ressie # handy. The only time your TA has to call DCL is when it's a transaction of money having to do with your cruise ressie or to add on a package that adds money to your ressie (so anything that would affect their commission). If you want to establish an onboard account before you sail you can do that directly with DCL though, you don't have to go through your TA for that. HTH!

I love my electric blanket and electric throw blanket!

That sounds like a good plan....does anyone have any idea on costs to have them do the laundry? It maybe worth it instead of waiting on the laundry (that doesn't mean tho that we can't still have a laundry party in my room  ...btw I'm on deck 6).

I've checked the FAQ about the cost. The list is from 2005

I forgot about that Angie...good point. Well, I'm going to suggest that we try to do this once we get onboard. If it happens, great, if not...then we'll all have to plan something else...like crashing Holly's Deck 4 veg party!
You can crash any time! :yay:

Goodmorning everyone!

I found Oprah, she's on at 1:00am here and it's the quitting smoking one. Thanks guys that should help me a lot. I'm recording it.

Now go to Oprah.com and log onto the challenge (even though you're ahead of the game!)

re: :laundy: while on board....at this moment I'm right next door to the laundry room (not sure if that's a good or bad thing)...of course I will GLADLY give that up if DCL wants to upgrade me :lmao:

On the 14 night TA, the laundry room was so hot and smelly that you could smell it for several doors down the hall. Everyone stood in the hall leaning against the doors with their laundry waiting, some people couldn't get in for up to 3 days, so many of us ended up doing laundry at 3am and it was still packed. Second most overheard thing on the TA,"I hope these people get a room credit for this mess." Then the same thing happened on the 11 night med. You may want to move. On a 7 night, it is not as bad, but on a 15 night it is a nightmare.

Thanks Kelly for this info. I'm happy with either lanyard. We should just agree and order. okay watch the right click bite me in the hinnie, but here I go anyways.... I'm taking the lead here. I'll get the list started at least then we'll be somewhat along.... We can gather data on the lanyards and then group vote on what to order.

PM me if you want a lanyard(s) the with following:

Name & DisName
Address, city, state, zip
phone # (just in case we have questions)
email address

If you wish to help offset the cost please let me know that too. I think it would be too hard to collect from everyone indivdualy. I think it would be great to send these off before we cruise, but it would be a big under taking. I'll coordinate if I get some people to help with the work.

I'm happy to help, I have a good amount of experience organizing very large events like this.

But are you sure it's not a good idea :rotfl: ;)
I guess I didn't word my intentions very well, I was just going to take the taxi to my destination for sightseeing, as in to the beach or to one of the many touristy spots, and just get dropped off, then catch a taxi back, not have the taxi take me all over the place. However, I've scratched those plans since I'll have nowhere to keep my luggage. I'll just try to find an earlier flight home. Thank you for the advice though:) Kathe

Man, If I had the time and a bus, I'd give you the best tour in town.

Hey everybody! :goodvibes Internet not working at home for some reason, no time to call and ask why. No time to catch up today while at work, too much work today. Probably can't catch up tonight because I have another jewelry party. If my internet is working at home again, will catch up after the party tonight. Otherwise, will have to wait until after work tomorrow. Have a great day everybody! Will try to peek in and read a couple posts on and off today, but no promises.

Anxious to know what happened at the doctor.

Good point....not sure if I can change it though as everything else is gty. Will have to ask Sue Ellen about this.

Don't you worry about a thing....we'll figure it out and let you know and bring you to wherever you need to be and then bring you back to your peacful chair on Deck 4.....you are way to overwhelmed right now to think of anything but you and Tyler and how much you're going to enjoy this vacation. Hugs to you that it will work out and do so quickly!
Thanks Deb!

How do we know who we are linked with? Noel was going to try and put several us together that had late dining. I haven't gotten caught up yet, on page 3118. Has anyone heard from her?

You can contact DCL or your TA and they can tell you if you are linked. We are with Noel's group, too so I will check with my TA.

 :cool1: alright, has anyone else gotten the cruise info packet yet? you know, the one with the pamphlet listing all ofthe excurscions and such? we just got ours today and I'm soooo excited now:banana: :cool1: :cheer2:

I want mine!:yay: :yay:

Me too - an I'd rather take too much than do laundry!!

My DH keeps trying to talk me into doing some laundry on the ship, but I don't like to do laundry on vacation either so will over pack as usual. If he wants to do laundry he can do his own. Will send out our formal clothes, though so that they can be packed in the suitcases.

Love the poem.

We have a heated mattress pad. It is great.

We just got one. Love it. We had a water bed for a long time and the one thing I missed when we got a regular mattress was getting into a warm bed.

We have a Eurovan. "Otto"

I know, bummer that VW never proceeded with the micro bus they planned a few years back.

That would have been hot.
Here is what they are working on now. Its a joint project with Chrysler.
