We are first time Disney Cruisers (DH, DW, and DS (6)). DW and I have cruised once before, but that was carnival and it was the 3 day party boat to Ensenada and back. Not too much fun. We are VERY excited about 15 days on the Magic though. It's hard not to talk about it every day. So many choices for excursions!

Not having cruised before though, I wonder if we'll be bored on sea days. Is there really a lot to do. Being cheap, I don't plan on playing BINGO every day.

Lots to do, but we love sea days because we love the Magic, and they are great days to just unwind.

ToonTown is much better at DL, and so is IASW

Unfortunately IASW will be done for refurb while we are there. I beleive it is down until sometime in November. It's getting a much needed "facelift" and some fresh paint as I understand it.

Just got back from the hospital....12:30pm est. Frank is doing pretty good tonight. He was complaining a lot!! I told him to do the rehab...don't bled anymore..any we can take you home soon.

He used a walker and walked down the hall with me....first time in 8 weeks!!

Well, paying off our cruise didn't help us any. We are still homeless-I don't think we even have a lifeboat-maybe I can find a lounger by the pool.

disneylover5, it sounds good for your fil at this point, prayers that it will stay that way. We went through a lot of the same thing with my Mom-it is so hard. Thanks for the offer to park at your house. As far as I know, we will be staying at our usual hotel, and they have always let us park for free, since we stay the night before, and the night after our vacation, but thanks-if it changes, we might check with you.

I received these in email tonight-I thought they were funny and worth sharing. They hit home for me.
1. There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it. For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

Happy Anniversary to the PC Thread a few days late....

I have been lurking but not posting - so it is time to come out of the closet and join the fun. as we will be joining the cruise. assuming that is, I pay the TA for the balance. Like that is not going to happen

I know this will have been posted several times multiple pages back, but with the dates approaching, EXCURSION planning is on my mind.

Do we have any scuba divers in this bunch? Care to share comments on ports?

Thanks...oh, and it is DH and I....This is our first cruise longer than 7 days....we are at late dining.

Well, not such a great time out tonight. Had lots of fun at my friend Cindy's apartment before heading to the bar, but the bar was way too rowdy, the music was too loud, it was the wrong kind of music for me, and it was too smoky. Just not my kind of place. From now on I'll stick with my weekly outing with co-workers to my favorite Mexican restaurant!

Well I'm home sick today. Really didn't want to do it as I'm hoarding vacation time but at least it's a holiday weekend so I get an extra day to help recover. Wicked head cold with a nice barking cough! I went to work yesterday but only made it 6 hours - haven't slept well the past 2 nights.

I'm drinking plenty of liquids and taking robitussin hopefully it's enough as I'm pretty sure antibiotics aren't needed.

At least I can post today - at work I can read but not post gets pretty frustrating, I come home from work with page & post numbers I want to respond to.

We got our DCL confirmation from TA this morning showing Balance Due $0!

Careful Lisa, this is how mine started and it went into Walking pneumonia!!

I was 5 days behind 65 pages. I started to read at 7 pm and I finished after midnight 2 days ago. It took a long time, but it sure is nice distraction from real life!!

Oh I so agree. I was really happy when he was complaining!! I told him he was grumpy and he asked me if that was good or bad and I told him that was good!!

He has had so many people praying for him.....I think this time he has turned the corner and is finally on the road to recovery.
