I think my brain isn't awake yet...when I read this, I was picturing somebody from the other repo thread saying, "Come on over to the dark side" in a creepy voice! Probably because a few posts above was the one showing how they were slightly reprimanded.

I got curious and I went to Travelocity and Spain Air BCN to Madrid and then Air Comet Madrid to JFK - $266 including all taxes and fees one way.....

There are several other airlines.....Swiss International Airlines $391 .... and then Delta $1,515......

Hmmm, I wonder if it was so much more expensive because it was a one-way fare?

DCL recently offered castmembers a 50% discount on the repo cruise, so we would only need airfare Madrid to JFK one-way. The cheapest quote I git was $750 per person.


ETA: OMG the airfare DID drop. Where's the extra cash when you NEED to travel??

Learn something new everyday! It is gorgeous, although my kids wish for some more snow! Lazy day in Tahoe...funny we are from the same town and now are vacation in the same area! Although I think half of Woodside come up to Tahoe over this week!

Judging by the traffic going out of town, half of the bay area went up to Tahoe!!

It is glorious here as well 77 yesterday and around 70 today! Wish we had gone to our place in Bodega Bay, but it is booked for the weekend.

Hi everyone, just got caught up. School had a holiday yesterday so I took the boys to Legoland in Carlsbad. It was so much fun and the weather was perfect....75 degrees! I hate to say this because I know many of you have freezing temps but they have a water/splash area and the boys put their swimsuits on and played for almost two hours while I enjoyed watching them on a bench and basked in the sun. Very nice.

Ok, well I've decided as one of my contributions I'd like to make everyone a DIS green Mickey magnet for those who would like one. PM me with your DIS name AND cabin number. If you don't know it yet, indicate that and before sailing I'll update the list. Here's what it will look like:

That's what happens to our brains when we stay up too late on the DIS! Won't be a late one for me tonight. In fact, I'm gonna have withdrawals! Leaving in a few minutes to take the kiddo out of town overnight. Will probably take me 2 hours to get caught up tomorrow night, but I'll be looking forward to it!

Did you happen to make it out to Phoenix for the NC game? I was able to snag two of our store's eight tickets. It was an awesome game. Was offered $3,000 for my two tickets. There must have been 10,000 people at the game that didn't have tickets to get inside. It was amazing. An aquaintance that sat next to me played offensive line for Urban Meyer while he was at Utah. It was fun because he was able to tell us what play they were running out of which formation. Kinda cool. Anyway, glad Florida won.

Hi everyone! I've been very busy with work and have had to go out of town a few times recently so I haven't been able to keep up with all the posts. I think I just caught up, finally!!

I think Bunko sounds great. I've only played once, but I remember it was fun and really easy to learn.

I've been complaining about the cold weather down here in South Florida, but after seeing the pictures of the snow I guess I shouldn't complain.

Just to let you know that my wife UKANGEL hasn't forgotten you all, she is rather unwell, I had to take her to hospital yesterday. She is back at home and I am sure she will get back on here as soon as she can.
