I made mine out of black felt (then glued them to card stock)...they looked so cute and fuzzy!

OK.....done at work...I'm outta here and I don't have to work tomorrow....I get to play with some cruise mates....I get to go to the craft store....I get to eat on the patio....I get to play with the ponies.
Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.

I like the felt ears idea....sounds so cute!

Regarding the door signs, I can have Katie make up the logo without the wording and you could add your own. Or she could add whatever you like and I can email the results for you to print out.

I'm booked, along with my daughter, TX Sleeping Beauty on the Panama Cruise next year. I've never been on a discussion board before so it will take me a while to catch up.

btw- do any of you californians know the town of Hesperia? my best friend lives out there, so I'm going for spring break...we're going to disneyland too!!!!!! yay!!

Hi all, sorry I haven't been around much. DH flew CH 46 in the USMC and we have friends in Iraq squadron that had crash yesterday. We've been a little preoccupied. We are still checking on our friend, he is the CO of the squadron. Keeping good thoughts.

My DD told me they cannot make snowballs at all at her school. She came home and said we can make forts or snowmen but we can't make any snowballs.

And what is the point of a fort without snowballs?

Also, when designing your door signs, it is a good idea to incorporate your room number or your first names into the design.

Cute generic designs have a tendency to disappear.

Yep, our name is always on ours and we have never had one go missing. Sad that you have to do that.

Probably just as well. Adrienne just ordered 4 more Vera Bradley display cases for the store, and I still have to buy our plane tickets to Europe in September. Plus we just booked the Thanksgiving 2008 Magic cruise - going with some friends we've been trying to cruise with for years.

Vera Bradley....glazed look comes over her face and she automatically reaches for her credit card....

What is funny is that these are EASY to make!

I make mine in MS Word.

If you drop me a pm with your email I will email you sample files of my door magnets in MS Word. I have to tell you too though, that I "embellish" mine with Disney scrapbooking stuff - stick on characters and such. I have made some of them kind of "generic" so that I can use them cruise after cruise.

Mike was able to use FF for all of the airfare. We book our hotel with hotel points. I will never complain about all his work travel again!!! The only thing we have to pay for is the shuttle to and from the airport and the cruise.

This is so cool. I love that you are doing this spur-of-the-moment. My DH travels constantly for work as well, but it has meant some great vacations for us with all his FF and hotel points. Hawaii in a month is going to be completely free except for food, and even some of that is taken care of thru Hyatt Regency Club--free breakfast and appetizers daily. Can't beat that. It almost makes up for his busy schedule.
