It is Valentines day and it gives the rest of us hope that we will all eventually find our special someone!!!

They made some crack on the radio this morning that if you were single today was just "another Wednesday" and I thought...Aw man, how sad. But it's true. I'm single and it's just another Wednesday.


It's a beautiful Oregon day here...rained all day.

Been a lurker here for sometime and figured Id better post before Holly kicks me somewhere! Working nights makes it hard to catch up!
Glad to say we booked for the repo cruise! We too were worried about taking daughter out of school but figured the educational aspects will outway the worry plus darn it I want to go!!
This will be our 3rd Disney cruise and 3rd with Holly too!
Our "thieves" will consist of me Heather, DH Tom and our DD bethany who will be 9 at sailing .
Would love to join the bunco group!

I don't blame you. I am not looking forward to having to get all dressed up. Plus spending money on dresses I will never wear again.

I am seriously consider skipping formal nights, or maybe I will bring only 1 dress and wear it twice, same with dd.

What i did for our cruise in april was go to a Consignment shop that deals only in nicer items I found 2 formal dresses that i could use (one would have been fine for semi formal night but was more formal then semi) bought both for $39 and then got home and put one back up for Reconsignment. I kept the one i liked best and will use that one on this cruise for at least the 2 formal nights.

Semi Formal i'm wearing a nice skirt and a nice shirt.

Today is the last day for Travel Guard Insurance for kids free and no pre-existing conditions. You do only get one free child per adult. My quote for the 5 of us up to $2500 each was $294, I was surprised at how expensive it is. Procrastination does not pay, I missed the Access America no pre-e window, I think that plan will be significantly less expensive and since it will be may I am not as concerned about possible blizzard delays.

Do men have to wear a tux on formal night or can they just wear a dark suit? Dh hates to wear a tux, and in case we do decide to do formal nights, he would much rather wear a regular suit, but I wouldn´t want him to feel out of place.

Do all girls wear princess dresses? Because I definetly don´t feel that those costumes would be formal wear for girls, to me this is more what a little girl should wear in a formal ocasion: http://www.strasburgchildren.com/slsmdr.html but I don´t want dd to long for a princess dress if all the little girls are wearing them.

Yep, flying direct Denver to MCO you should be fine in May. For us further west that have to make a change somewhere.....Chicago, St Louis, DFW we may have a bit of a delay if there are spring thunderstorms/tornadoes thru the area. I was stuck an extra day in Washington DC late April one year because of St Louis storms. We plan to drive to LA and fly direct one way this time, then pick up the vehicle and drive home - or where ever we decide we want to go.

Yes, my dd (she will be 18 1/2 at time of cruise) is a Holly. She was an almost Christmas baby. We dont meet too many other Hollys.

Her teenage friends thought we named her after HOLLISTER the store. Ugh, could they be any smarter?

Our last name starts with an S, so she can be HollyS if that works?

A little background on me and threebritts: On my first cruise, Tyler and I were assigned to the same dinner table as Heather, Tom, & Bethany. They missed dinner the first night but from then on we all got along great. By the end of the cruise, we were already talking about the idea of cruising together the same time the following year. And that's what we did! We stayed in touch all year in between and we even all met up for a couple days in Orlando. I never even talked to them about booking this cruise because of the whole missing school issue. So imagine my surprise when Heather told me they were considering it! Of course I told her: Book it! I've already booked!

Can't wait to see you all again! Too bad Tyler won't be there....he'll be sad that I'm traveling with you and he's not. Maybe I shouldn't tell him that part.
