I had Anastasia my last cruise, she was very good. I left her a nice bottle of Chardonney, along with extra $ in the envelope ,she said it was her favourite wine.

I think dh is getting tired of me talking about THE CRUISE. But the truth is that I can´t stop thinking about it, I am sooo excited. He is too, but he could definetly forget and then just show up at the terminal on sailing day,

Though I am figuring that maybe I am not the only one, since I am not the only one typing away like crazy on this thread

You know, I'm not obsessed, YET. Haven't decided on excursions or whether we'll take time at WDW beforehand. Or, what I'm going to wear. BUT, you all are such fun...just keeps me coming back...

Those seem so low to me only 3.68 a day for good food but when you add it all up you say wow I need to sell another child.. I love to tip!!! I hate it when people don't tip for good service.

I wondered what was up with that too, but was afraid to mention it because I figured my brain was just stuck!

Julie, in Cove Cafe they have magazines and some books (though I saw more on the Wonder than the Magic). These are usually books people leave behind.

Maybe we should all bring one book we've read and liked and can leave it in Cove Cafe for others to share. So you'd only need to bring one NEW book to read first and then have others to choose from.

What do you think?

I think this is a great idea, I am definetly bringing one that I will leave on board. I think I will bring a book in Spanish, for those looking for something different.

I never like the DOTD. I am a amateur bartender and I just never like them. I think they are cheap (2 for 1) because they have less alcohol and less taste!!

No offense, just have to have to claim my phrase....

it's Drink o' Day...hence DOD.... (to me)

and I like them because I'm a light weight and need half the alcohol in my drinks to like the way they taste...

And as my dear friend says "that's why there are 31 flavors" if you want it buy it...if ya don't don't buy it.

Maybe we can do laundry before our 4:30 am meet, we can straight through the night, while we DOD, we will be some merry Panamá canal cruisers.

You are one smart cookie!!!! As for the teens doing the laundry, some of them did it for $2-$3 a load, washed, dried and returned to you folded. You of course provided the quarters, detergent, downey, etc...but hey,they got more money for smoothies and coffees and we got our laundry done. Heck they were up until 6am most every night anyway, so at 4am they had prime pickings at the laundry rooms!!! Oh, and the other Diser was not kidding about chinese laundry. All hot water, hot dryer, t-shirt belongs to kid now!!!
Which is why we also bring some woolite so we can handwash some things we don't want miniaturized!!!

I own three different styles of crocs--can't wait to get more!

Still trying to figure out Spanx--I think I just need to go to Nordstrom's website! I am only able to read every 10 pages or so, so I missed something in there!

Lightweight here too--can't drink too much, esp since I'm a patch-wearer and already have the dry mouth!

I will try and do summary posts every day. Next week if work doesn't make me TOOO crazy, I will log the summaries and then work with Pj and see if we can make a week in review summary on the new webpage. That way if you miss a week or two, you can just catch the summaries!!! So bear with us, we are trying to make this a non threatening, didn't study for that pop quiz, type of board!!! Because, we have heard rumors, that some of you have lives and are not here 24/7!!!

No, if they were hand washed, we put them on hangers and dried them in the bathroom or out on the balcony. I am sure we will get to balcony decorations a little closer to the cruise. Like in summer when all the cool stuff comes out!!! We had pirate penants and flamingo lights decorating our balcony!! Yet another reason to make sure to bring PLENTY of duct tape!!!
