Maybe you wouldn't do it for special pins, but what if it's for something you would covet?

A card for free unlimited Drinks of the Day?
Brunch for 14 in Palo's private room?
A personalized Ducky Williams' drawing?
A free upgrade to the Walt Disney Suite?

As for the pins on the May 2005 PC repo, DCL vastly underestimated the popularity and demand for them. So there was a small limited edition. And this was perhaps during the height of the pin craze.

Mrs. Woody did not sleep in the Atrium. But she knew people who did, and joined them in the morning before pins were distributed.

Woody

Don't get me wrong, I would love to have the special limited edition pins. But I'm with Mrs. Woody......I'm sleeping in my bed and I'll meet you there early in the morning......even if I had to get up at 4 or 5 am. I would rather catch a couple of hours sleep in my bed first.

So did Mrs. Woody get her pin? What a treasure!

Any chance we might get some special pins for this cruise? Hopefully they will make enough for everyone and distribute them differently.

Ian . . . just out of curiosity, what kind of Mac do you have? Unless it is a newer Macbook or Macbook pro, your network will still run at that slower speed - the older Macbooks (like mine) are 802.11g - not 802.11n.

I have one extra airport express. A good use for it is to take it with you when you travel. I take mine with us to WDW - when I buy the internet service at the hotel, I plug it into the ethernet, and set up my own wireless network in our room so that I am not tied to the wire.

We have several Macs. Mine is about a year old, an Intel Duo Core iMac.

John, I thought the extreme cards came out a couple of years ago.

I had a dream the other night that we had slept in and totally missed the Panama Canal. How devastating that would be. Now I don't think I will sleep at all that night for fear that we will sleep in. Will definitely get a wake up call that morning. I love hearing Mickey's voice when I answer the phone for the wake up call.

We had a call from Mickey and Friends on Christmas Day as part of our Californian Resort package. It was so cute.

This was my dream as I was waking up this morning, :confused3 .

The girls and I are watching the kids choice awards on Nick....it is funny how much they put in these shows for the adults. Harrison Ford got slimed, that was actually pretty funny.

Deb...if they keep things the same, there will be a form in our room when we board that we check off if we want pins. I think it is 1 set of pins per person:confused3 maybe it is stateroom

:laundy: I LOVE your packing list! Don't forget your 2 swimsuits and coverups, because THAT is what you will be living in 50% of the time!
That way, to do laundry, you just jimp in the pool!:laundy:

:rotfl: :rotfl: That's the only kind of laundry I plan on doing too Connie :lmao:

DGD is much better. We expect she will be discharged from the hospital this morning. We visited with her yesterday and she felt well enough to go to the art session they have for the hospitalized children. She spent almost and hour and a half there before she got too tired and needed to go back to her room and rest. We all did some paintings with her.

Angie, this is great news :goodvibes Glad she is feeling better

Kaylee, looks like DCL went with 2600 of each pin for the second Repo in 2005, so I guess one per person. I love the idea of the form in the room, no line ups.

Here are my turkeys...I mean buns that were in the oven!

Those boys are so cute!

That's because I only let you think you're in charge ...

On the other hand, it also explains how both of us could contemplate turning formal nights into full fledged BBC costume dramas!
.

Touche!!!!! Now where did I put my 18th century Empire waist gown???? :goodvibes

That would make more sense than per room.....Of course I would need to get at least 2 because I am sure each girl would want a full set.

I wonder how long until the sets show up on ebay?! I remember last year things were showing up on ebay before they had even disembarked. :lmao:

Check page two on Saturday, May 14th. The have the Highlights listed.
I would think the outfits you would need would be,

semi formal
formal
formal
tropical night
mexican night
pirate night

The rest would be cruise casual.

This is what I am basing my packing on.

I'm starting to stress :worried: I have nothing for tropical, mexican or pirate night.
